Education › Re: Mass Failure Rocks OAU Faculty Of Pharmacy by Thazard(m): 9:24am On Jan 25, 2020 |
Richdad50:

In abroad, the lecturers would be in serious trouble by now. It is an indication of failure on their part. Their inability to educate properly or teach their students.
Nigeria education is fundamentally deficient largely due to parochial and archaic lectures and lecture system.
In developed universities, a lecturer once he or she notices a dip in your thesis or assignments, he arranges a meeting with you to discuss what the issues may be with you. He can go as far as referring you to Guidance and Counseling unit. They go the length to have you understand. A school's performance should never be judged on mass failure.

mansakhalifa: Cool...
Except Guyana ain't a "black" or "African" African country. It doesn't qualify to be called either.
It's black population is just over 30% and then you have other races like the East Indians, multiracials/creoles, Ameri-Indians, Chinese, Europeans etc etc. In fact, it is one of the most diverse countries in South America despite its tiny population. That is why it is often classified as a "Diverse Country/Nation" as against "black".
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guyanese_people&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwig_Zv89Z3nAhWKblAKHVwkCocQFnoECA4QAg&usg=AOvVaw3U9le11kLXLhPGTHvlYBWW
It isn't African because it is situated on the Northern coast of South America which is that part that is juts into the Caribbean region/coast. Y'all already got that figured out.
Now that said... the fact that their economy is experiencing a boost could be down to the fact that they just discovered a substantial crude oil reserves over there- appx. 4 billion barrels or so. That could do wonders to the economy of a country with a population of roughly 700,000+ people. Investments must have started pouring in by now. |
