This is going to be a 5mins read I hope so.

A friend of mine (Daniel) has been going through a tough time with his mom and girl friend (wife to be).

Wahala started when Daniel informed is mom about his intention to get married. Only for the mom to find out the woman he wants to marry is a single mom of two(kids). All hell broke loose.

Daniel’s mom has begged him to quit the relationship and kill the idea of marrying her but Daniel has refused and told is mom how much he has struggled with relationships, this is the only one that has made him happy and given him peace of mind. Daniel’s mom is more concern about the issue the kids can cause later in life, Daniel already told the mom how they have tried to reach out to the father of these kids but he wants nothing to do with them, since he already has a family.

The kids are bearing the name of their mother’s dad and once they get married the kids are taking his name. Daniel becomes their biological father automatically.

Daniel’s mom doesn’t want this union. She’s already threatening to commit Suicidal and it’s getting to Daniel as he is not willing to loose is mom and he is also not ready to let go of the love of is life.

The girlfriend has asked him to end the relationship but he’s not ready to. I don’t know what to tell him.

I need your help.

Its all mostly packaging. you can learn those things for free on the internet or paid sites like cousera. its just like those amazon guys on youtube telling you about their 5k courses, or those forex people in lagos training you on forex while they haven't made one kobo trading.

It should and would resolve itself at the appropriate time. Given the chance, the child from the relationship has a better chance with the man she is married to. If we counted the number of Children, especially first kids, not being raised by their biological dads, it would be about 30 to 40 per cent. If you take actions that destroy the Marriage, three (3) children stand to be traumatized from the experience.

If the husband is meant to find out, at the appropriate time he would fine out. An acquaintance did not find out or suspect until he returned to NIGERIA after many years to claim his child to the US. Curiosity let to a DNA POM Test which revealed he wasn’t even the dad.

Things will eventually fall in place but one thing about life is at times you may need to do a little bad or look the other way to protect and guarantee a larger/bigger good. Remember Eva Green in the movie Kingdom of Heaven.

There is no such thing as someone else's child when it comes to raising a child. That is his or our child. In Africa we say it takes a village to raise a child. So, your child is my child or our child

In my opinion, there's nothing overly thoughtful about that comment. The man might have his reasons for moving to Nigeria, but that doesn't undermine the reasons people have for wanting to leave Nigeria. Different strokes for different folks. Even that guy typing would gladly move to the US if offered the visa. Those who don't see any reason to leave are usually the comfortable ones or those who have stayed abroad before and have amassed enough resources.

Do not let anyone deceive you. An American or British who moved to Ghana like the guy said is either going to there as an expatriate or they're already rich and looking for somewhere to settle peacefully. Otherwise, no American youth would go to Ghana in search of of better life. As beautiful as Africa is, it does not make logical sense.

Hmmmm ... your point of view is very interesting.
But I can't say that all the people (American or British) relocating to Africa are already rich.
You can see on Youtube testimonies of people who had moved to Africa with no much in their pockets but ended up of building "empires" in Africa.

I know a lady from my country, DR Congo, who had been in Nigeria for 30 years. She always says that she can't live anywhere else but Nigeria. And this lady is a frequent traveler.

Until you live as a black man in this Edomites countries like Poland and Ukraine before you can understand where he is coming from, what is chasing him and why he is looking for piece of mind. What is Poland? Go on YouTube and see all the hundreds of videos of black Americans, black Britons relocating to Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Gambia, South Africa and etc etc and living good while the average Nigerian want to go and be a 4th class citizen in Poland. On this same thread, some years back, I remember someone got interviewed via Skype and was offered employment in Canada while the person was still in Nigeria.

If you understand some other programming language like python, you just need to find a certificate course in data science and understand exactly what it entails. Then you start shooting your CV out there

You were a credit analyst processing "credit cards", in Nigeria this will fall under operations. Surprised the role is called credit analyst in Canada. In Nigeria credit analyst are the ones who review all the loans and financing needs of companies and businesses and individuals ranging from personal loans, mortgage, project finance, working capital, syndicated loans and all. This is the same thing my role in TD does and I will be given an approval limit of loans I can approved. I'm specifically in the commercial real estate unit, there are others in the personal mortgage unit, project unit and all, it's more diversified here, so no, I'm not reviewing and approving "credit cards". I opened account with a relationship manager I'm Scotia and he "decided" to give me a credit card. He didn't need to consult with any credit analyst.

I believe the person who decline to give you a credit card is a credit analyst. How then will he come up with the decision of approving or rejecting the credit card request?
He would have to pull up your credit bureau to make the decision. Unless you have told him you are new to Canada and it became obvious that you have no credit rating. I remember back when I was a credit analyst, I could reject some applicants from the onset without even pulling their credit bureau. This usually happened when the applicant was a newcomer or wasn't a resident of Canada.

Kindergarten starts at 4 in most Canadian provinces.
However, in some jurisdictions, a 3 year old can be admitted if he is close to 4 year old by September. He can be admitted if he is few month short of 4 year old by September.

In other places, a child has to be 4 year old by September 30 to qualify.
You should speak to the school to see if your 3 year old would qualify.

credit analyst not senior credit analyst. Managers in most Canadian banks earn less than 100k self. If you want more money to to American banks in Canada or central bank

Hey @ednut1, it has been a long time. I am glad to see that you are still on here.

In 2009 I took a job as a credit analyst (processing credit cards applications) in one of the major American banks with an extension in Canada.(Citibank).
Citibank have few extensions in Canada known as Citi Financial, Citicards Canada .... I was working for Citicards Canada.
The pay was $15/hour (close to 30K/year) for a credit analyst at that ime. But, given that I was bilingual I was making $17/hours (close to 34K/year).

I am surprised that the annual income of a credit analyst to be 65K in today market (more than the double of what it used to be back in 2009).
Adding to that, I know people working for TD bank in different department with wages ranging from 40K to 50K. That is why I was expecting a credit analyst at TD to be making about the same.

In any case, I am happy for @slydog for getting a 65K credit analyst job at TD. And good luck to him.
