Am I the only one who think Op should focus more on the positive aspects of living in Germany/Berlin than frequently narrating his horrendous and negative experiences? I mean give it a rest man, we've had enough of this rough stories (sex and hardrugs). Your thread is becoming boring and uninteresting |

dgr8truth: I am just wondering how is beating a child for an obvious bad acts amounts to child abuse or violence against him/her.
It's a free world, you may choose to discipline your child or not.
As I have said before I am not cutout for a gutter fight and you were not harsh on me, you showed what you really are as a person. A simple question will you beat your spouse if he/she behaves badly? How about your colleague at work? How about you treat your child the same (with respect and empathy)? How about discussing with the child so both of can find a great solution? No. Instead, you choose to be violent for reasons unclear to me Notice how you throw around the word "beat" , if you are that powerful why not join UFC? And watch how guys like kabib numegovdev will mold you into shape My friend i don't mean any malice, I just want you to understand violence method of parenting, in whatever form, be it kicking, flogging, spanking and so on is counterproductive, ineffective and pose long-term damage to that kid you cherish. |

dgr8truth: [s][/s]Quite sad how you spit out offensive words at me not because I insulted you or deprived you of your happiness but for my own personal comment on a public forum.
Exercise restrain with foul words, and learn to accommodate other people's opinions, not everyone is out for a gutter/pig fight. Shalom!![s][/s] I was harsh on you because not only are you a child abuser you are also advocating violence against children l, which is beyond evil. I experienced the horrors of child violence first hand and its not pretty. Its sad seeing people like you encouraging appalling behavior . |

dgr8truth: Flogging still remains the best form of discipline. Most of us today that are around 35yrs upward are products of no nonsense fathers and luckily how lives turn out well.
Never give in to the intricacies of children, flog them when appropriate, don't play politics with their lives. The earlier we incorporate fear into them the better for our society. You are very stupid for using the generic term "we" . Not everyone is a primitive child bully and abuser like you. Shame on you! May I ask? What impact has your generation that were well flogged made? Richer? Moral? Peaceful? Nothing. Rubbish! |

Righteousness89: Stick and Carrot Approach!
[s][/s]You Thoroughly Discipline the Child when He needs to be Disciplined! Do not Spare the Rod!
You also Cuddle and Show Him/her love after that.
There is Nothing Ancient about Flogging a Child.. if you fail to Discipline your Child, He/She will Discipline you when the time comes..
Flogging is a Form of Discipline, and if he/She needs to be flogged, don't Spare the Rod.[s][/s]. You should lost custody of your kids if you have any. You are a dangerous and primitive human being, I find you right repulsive and obnoxious. I have received all manners of the flogging you are advocating for here, and it change nothing. In fact it make me realise how right I have been for sticking to what I morally believe to be right. All that needles pain haven't change me(even if it ever does then it was only temporary due to being under an authoritarian) Shame on you man! An abuser and a bully is what you are. Why not trigger a fight with a giant and see how you will be returned to your home in a wheelchair And you preach gods words here 24/7 . typical religious scammer. |

Positive parenting - the principle that no child is bad, only good and bad behaviour. Cues from this method include: • no violence or abuse • effective communication • encouraging good behaviour with rewards, praises, compliment and so on.
this method of parenting has prove to be incredibly effective. Its a vast topic but IMHO its the best way of raising a child. |

Amotolongbo: Did you read the last part where he talked about the party structure which will work in favor of the youth?
These present old generation leaders were youth when they took over, and they don’t wanna leave. The same way these youth will be when they seize power from them.
Another problem we have in Nigeria is that after these youths have successfully taken the power from the old generation, they will also end up seating tight and prevent the next youth generation from taking over by manipulating and reviewing the same constitution that brought them in, to their favor and against the next generation.
[s][/s]Selfishness is everyone’s watchword in Nigeria [s][/s] So you know everyones character in the whole of Nigeria to enable you come to this conclusion? If the 50s generation of south Koreans think like you that country would have remained miserably poor. I don't take what crooks like OBJ say seriously, he and his brought our country to its knees, so in my opinion he doesn't have moral ground to be telling we the what and what not do. That such a person is yet to be prosecuted for his crimes is beyond me. |

Exmilitant: Gowon, Muritala, Obasanjo, Buhari, Babangida, Abacha ruled this country as youths. Not mentioning some military Governors who ruled in their 20's. Our problem is not about youth being in charge but total emacipation from mental, phisical and spiritual slavery! Bla bla bla..... You are part of the problem. |

Nairalandmonika: See I don't have time, u didn't get my info from one particular website.
I know about area 51 for years now n all the stories about aliens n ufo surrounding it. U may choose to believe those stories or the plain truth. That's they are not hiding any alien in area 51.
If an alien was intelligent enough to discover earth. Then no human being can hide such alien in one small dry desert in the earth.
I just told u to use Google to make ur findings and believe what every crap u want to believe.
There are different stories in the internet believe the one u want to believe and stop being foolish. I didn't argue about area 51 . That's out of point plain rambling. My argument is "cite your sources". Is that hard for you? Or are you trying hard not to lose face ? And why the name calling? Are you mentally challenged? |

SmartPolician: You see, I know that I have a strong connection with my home...that's why I may not be able to live elsewhere.
I think you people tend to lay emphasis on the positive aspects of living in the advanced countries while you downplay the downsides.
Sincerely, I love this country, and I don't want to live in a place where someone will have to constantly disrespect me because of my skin color or how our leaders have messed up our country.
I want to carry a passport that immigration officers from around the world would have some regards for.
[s][/s]If we all run away from this country, who will fix it? The place we are all running to, some people sacrificed their blood, time, resources and sweat to make it the envy of all. [s][/s]
Like I always tell people, the richest Nigerians live in Nigeria. Future generation of Nigerians will be smarter than what we have at present. There are millions of immigrants from different countries every where. |

Bacteriologist: 1. Canada.
Pros; Polite people, Great liberal politicking, Strong and rapid growing economy. Immigration policy ensuring strong cultural diversity. Canada is the future.
Cons: Small population density, Harsh weather, difficulty getting a good job without "Canadian experience."
2. Seychelles
Pros: Visa Free, Well developed (according to African standards), Maritime environment, Vacation paradise (meet new people often).
Cons: Very small population, Prone to Tsunami due to climate change, Not a diverse or strong economy (over dependent on tourism).
3. UK
Pros: That English accent (lol!), Strong/Rigid economy, Better weather than the Americas (well most of it), EU passport (Brexit has changed that but proximity still makes it easier to move around other EU countries with relative ease).
Cons: Can't seem to find one for now except Brexit and [/s] Muslim invasion. [s] You totally have no idea what you talking about man. Do you live in the UK? Or are you regurgitating what you hear people saying? |

Danielhouston: I made some new friends yesterday while we were looking for a place to party. We all walked around together. One memorable experience was a guy from Ireland. He just moved to Berlin four weeks ago. He was very friendly and already had friends.
I told you guys how Irish people are the best international friends you can have in Berlin. They are very openminded and friendly. They light up every place they go to and make friends with everybody. They don’t care about your race or where you’re from. They’ll hug you, play with you, drink from the same bottle with you and even offer you a beer. They also do all the talking.
Anyway, we were walking and we saw this white girl on the street, crying. I just minded my business. The Irish guy was worried about her and I warned him to leave her alone. She was on cloud nine. He insisted and went to talk with her. I was just laughing at him, because I know them. I know my Berlin people. She probably took too much drugs and started crying for no reason.
This girl jumped on him and started shouting. She cursed him eh...”Fvck you, Fvck your mother, Fvck your father, Fvck your family, you piece of sh*t”, all in german. She screamed at him and he panicked. Now he knows better. When you see them like that, just leave them alone. You can always tell the ones that have taken something. Not everybody you see in Berlin is normal. They can dress well and look good but they’re mental. Some times ago I left your thread due to the toxic and hate comments I just couldn't stand, unacceptable to me. I hope order calm and order has been restored, if yes, you have another follower. |

MidEastPrince: Hello guys,
I know it’s been a while and some of you would want to whoop my ass. I thoroughly deserve that tbh. I apologize to each and everyone of you for ‘disappearing’. It is important to make you understand why it all happened that way.
Simply put, life happened!
In a particular post I made last year about the process of relocating to Germany, my first point was deciding if you really want to relocate to Europe. This is because, it could seem overwhelming for a while at first. One would need to unlearn majority of what has been learnt and start learning new things that would have seem weird in the first place.
Brethrens, the process was very difficult for me!
Inasmuch as i was somewhat familiar with the most important things, the very simple/easy education of the German culture was difficult for me to grasp.
Then school! Then I started working! (Students can work for a limited number of hours) What I wasn’t prepared for was that bookworm like me would fall out of love with school. It got so worse before it got better. (I will make a whole post for this later)
So why did I go AWOL? Life o! Life came at me hard.
But to be honest, I’d rather not have it another way!
—————————
So I am back to posting about my experiences now! I will scroll through my photo gallery and I’m sure I’ll find pictures and then tell the story behind it. This should be fun, folks.
PS: As I’m typing this, I am presently on a flight from Berlin to Brussels, Belgium. My vacation is about to get started. So we will have so much fun together, don’t worry ehn! For the rest of this year, , I’ll be going to Istanbul, Prague, Barcelona, Copenhagen and finally London.
I’ll make it up to you! Just stay with me! Welcome back man! I perfectly understand your situation, however, I am glad you finally adapted to your new country. That said, seeing how you neglected this thread for long I've already reserved some strokes for you, you truly deserved to be whipped. Welcome back man! |
