A recruit is different from an officer.

OP, please go to the University, spend four years in school, do NYSC and try the Air Force again. Then you will earn well.
If you join the Air Force as a recruit, I bet you won't have the chance to go to the University in the next five years; you might have the chance much later if you are lucky.

After serving 25yrs as an airforce recruit, a newly commissioned officer with a degree certificate will still rank above you. I don't know why people have this primitive mentality of grabbing anything that comes their way because the cowards are afraid of tomorrow. If you are above 23yrs, you can enroll into the airforce, if not, enroll into the school and get educated. Education is not just about getting work; it sets you up and equips you for the life journey ahead.

Just know that if you enroll into airforce now, their is a limit to what you can achieve in the future. your promotion is capped at a certain limit. With an adequate education, you can soar higher than what you are dreaming of right now. Don't be myopic.

All the international money transfer operators of which Worldremit one, are mandated by CBN to pay in dollars.

If you want to transfer the oney to the beneficiay's bank account, it has to be a domiciliary account in the currency you are sending. No more automatic conversion into Naira at a pre-determined rate

When the beneficiary withdraws from domiciliary account, s/he can just walk up to a money changer and get dollar to naira at N475 or higher instead of N390 official CBN's rate the banks offers

That said, twist the truth however you like - still doesn't negate the fact that we have a serious problem in this country which is poverty, it's staring us in this face and possibly could be if not already a time bomb.

•Majority of homeless people in the US and most western countries are for the most part drug addicts, people with criminal backgrounds or simply people with mental health issues.
• Even at that, these people still receive some sort of government help and aid. Don't get me started about food banks which is nonexistent in Nigeria .
•these homeless people don't even make up to 1% of Chicago's population and am pretty sure providing decent accommodation for them won't be a big deal for the government if it wants to. In contrast to your country 51% of the population are pathetically poor due to grand government corruption and mismanagement.

Wake up and smell the coffee! Nigeria doesn't start and end in Lagos let alone in your neighborhood (lekki). Taraba is a state, same as yobe, Osun and Bayelsa, check the statistics of these states and then you'll realize how uniformed you have been.

It's been a hellish studying period. Lol, my school makes studies difficult. Learning from 9am to 5:30pm everyday is too difficult plus the reports, homeworks, and sudden exams. All these pushed me inside.

I will be traveling this Christmas, hopefully, I will get some pictures and update this thread. I hope to visit Geneva in Switzerland. So expect an update soon.

How old is he? I suggest you sponsor his education first, there are lots of universities here private or public, in fact ,you can take him abroad if you have the means, in the end it will pay great dividends, way better than him jumping from one country to another as a semi-educated factory worker.

Educate him first, then later you guys should talk about emigrating. Literally speaking, most developed countries only want skilled and highly educated immigrants. No one likes a liability.
