Emyben: Go for your education. Don't for any reason think that you will easily further your education after you get the Airforce job. Easier said than done. You won't have the time.
Go and grab your degree, develop a side hustle to make some money for yourself while you study. You can join later if your are lucky enough as a commissioned Officer with your degree.
Don't say I didn't tell you. I know fully well what is involved. So does the "you can further your education" used by the NAF a scam? Please explain to me bro. |

nelronaldo: A Master warrant officer which is the highest rank you can get to as a recruit earns just a little above 100k. An Air craft man, which is the rank he will start with is about 50k. Please don't advise this young man wrongly.
A recruit is different from an officer.
OP, please go to the University, spend four years in school, do NYSC and try the Air Force again. Then you will earn well. If you join the Air Force as a recruit, I bet you won't have the chance to go to the University in the next five years; you might have the chance much later if you are lucky. I heard they recruits chance to study? |

nelronaldo: OP. Please go to school. You can try to join the Airforce again after your tertiary education. You will be lucky if you can go to the University when you join the force as a recruit. They will frustrate you with day and night duty, you won't have time for tertiary education. But I heard they give people opportunity to study? |

MaziOmenuko: I see a lot of peeps advising you to chose being an airman than getting an adequate education. After serving 25yrs as an airforce recruit, a newly commissioned officer with a degree certificate will still rank above you. I don't know why people have this primitive mentality of grabbing anything that comes their way because the cowards are afraid of tomorrow. If you are above 23yrs, you can enroll into the airforce, if not, enroll into the school and get educated. Education is not just about getting work; it sets you up and equips you for the life journey ahead.
Just know that if you enroll into airforce now, their is a limit to what you can achieve in the future. your promotion is capped at a certain limit. With an adequate education, you can soar higher than what you are dreaming of right now. Don't be myopic. Please I would love to ask you a question bro. |

I was born, brought up and am still living in kaduna. 90% of kaduna Muslims consider it Haram to celebrate Christmas, uptil yesterday Christmas.
Even the remaining 10% that celebrate Christmas are Yoruba, igala and other none hausa Muslims.
Op,the fact that some 20 people,or so, celebrate Christmas in one corner of kaduna doesn't make it "kaduna".lol Not really! I am Hausa and I had celebrated Christmas with Christians numerous times. I no send your religion bro. |

“Independence Without Chaos”
We held so much prospect and we should consolidated on the peace to chart a better path at that infant stage.

If you want to transfer the oney to the beneficiay's bank account, it has to be a domiciliary account in the currency you are sending. No more automatic conversion into Naira at a pre-determined rate
When the beneficiary withdraws from domiciliary account, s/he can just walk up to a money changer and get dollar to naira at N475 or higher instead of N390 official CBN's rate the banks offers Please how possible is it for one to get the dollar at the the official bank rate? |

lekki1444: There is extreme poverty in all countries. FACTSSSSSSSSSS
OK so maybe naija has more poverty because of the sheer volume of people in it but i have seen worse poverty in chicago usa than i can ever encounter in nigeria. i have lived in chicago too. i mean extreme poverty where people are sleeping on the streets in zero degree weather and they find them in the morning dead and have turned to ice block. this is the type of poverty i am talking about. if you think you are suffering in nigeria ? go to chicago in the winter time and see the homeless suffering and freezing to death on the street Correction: Don't make baseless assumption - despite Nigeria's grim situation, I, particularly am not doing bad. So don't say "I'm suffering". That's disrespectful, besides, I'm just a concerned citizen airing my views and opinions(which I have every right to) That said, twist the truth however you like - still doesn't negate the fact that we have a serious problem in this country which is poverty, it's staring us in this face and possibly could be if not already a time bomb. Note; the country itself is rich and has massive potentials. But years of bad governance had plunged it's booming population into poverty, which itself is a hydra-headed monster. Your analogy of using Chicago to support your argument is lame and unfit-for-purpose. •Majority of homeless people in the US and most western countries are for the most part drug addicts, people with criminal backgrounds or simply people with mental health issues. • Even at that, these people still receive some sort of government help and aid. Don't get me started about food banks which is nonexistent in Nigeria . •these homeless people don't even make up to 1% of Chicago's population and am pretty sure providing decent accommodation for them won't be a big deal for the government if it wants to. In contrast to your country 51% of the population are pathetically poor due to grand government corruption and mismanagement. Wake up and smell the coffee! Nigeria doesn't start and end in Lagos let alone in your neighborhood (lekki). Taraba is a state, same as yobe, Osun and Bayelsa, check the statistics of these states and then you'll realize how uniformed you have been. Have a nice day man. |

lekki1444: Speak for yourself. i live in lekki phase 1. everyone around me drives a prado or rolls royce ,some even drive bentleys but mostly prado jeeps lol. peopple are enjoying around here. in fact living around here sometimes i think i have to step my money game up cuz these people out here are balling out of control. The backbone and audacity! Nigeria is rich, of course, but these rich guys you claimed to be in their midst don't even represent 0.5% of Nigeria's population. The inequality gap is mind-boggling - and its getting wider. Just so you know Nigeria has more than 100 million of its people living in abject poverty according to world poverty clock. And this number is increasing rapidly due to reckless government negligence, corruption and also our booming population. This is evident everywhere, just take a few hour our ride from your bubble in lekki and see for yourself. |

I suggest you sponsor his education first, there are lots of universities here private or public, in fact ,you can take him abroad if you have the means, in the end it will pay great dividends, way better than him jumping from one country to another as a semi-educated factory worker. Educate him first, then later you guys should talk about emigrating. Literally speaking, most developed countries only want skilled and highly educated immigrants. No one likes a liability. |
