But you posted the same thing in the NNPC GT/EH post as @electofc ![]() Swagsultan1:[quote Re: Apply For 2019 NNPC Graduate Trainee And Experience Hire by electof: 9:39am On Feb 15 " I didn't apply, my bro didn't apply nnpc too! He only got appointment letter August last year. Yeah the connect is still alive. Everything has been fine for him so far. I'm only asking if there will be any screening on the long run to check people's class of degree since a particular class of degree was specified as minimum requirement during applications" According to this, the guy has second class lower without MSc.
Integrity and tape are everywhere. Yet, someone got the job in August. This guy should just release the EH list and stop the TAPE shouts. |
TeddyX:Motor don jam this egungun for express ![]() |
jaiye4love:Firstly he gave a coded info to the house and it blew so fast that everybody in the towers heard it including the "informee" which caused him a lot of distress and mistrust. Then again he told the house a first hand info that GT's APL will be released in short while but one Teddy X and a few other naysayers called him a deceiver and looking for cheap popularity. One thing I really like Nigerians is that we forget things so easily ![]() |
Psyco119:Not really. They have the same qualifications that we have, just that they do occupy positions that allow the cooperation to move. They are a key part of the business. However the right thing that most companies do, is for them to do the normal recruitment procedures like ithers and be given preference to fill in qualified positions. The good side of this, is that less money is spent on training them, but the downside of this, is that they hardly bring in innovations. That's the reasons why new guys are brought in to bring in fresh blood and ideas and change the way things are done |
Melzclement:Good one sir. we will need more info like this |
yungmin:But you don't have HND, so why u dey bother yourself na? Besides u can just call up the Schools liaison office to inquire of the COREN stuff, they'll be glad to assist. I hope they don't ask EH to produce COREN membership as well ![]() |
BlackHummer:Cheer up boss. It gets better from here. Your friends story should encourage you to take charge of your life and create your own wealth. When life throws us lemons, na to begin make lemonade. Your day will come. Your glory will shine. You will make it happen. Maximum respect |
quote author=BlackHummer post=84997310] Bro if u hear some people's case eh.., nigeria is just so fvcked up. My friend just turned 29. He has not had any job since he finished nysc at 25years and has been managing to teach home lessons to sustain himself. He cannot apply for gt roles now because most require one to be at most 25 or 26years old, neither can he apply for experienced hire because he has no relevant experience. He is stuck in the middle. He overheard his uncles mocking his dad for wasting his money in sending him to a private school with nothing to show for it. The dude drank sniper recenly but didn't die. I am now housing him and hoping good fortune from nnpc will smile on him. The guy is a academically ok. Graduated with cgpa of 3.78.
This has got to be my highest point of this NNPC recruitment and of this forum. That this guy got the APL is testament that life may not be fair, but is truky beautiful. Another thing is that suicide is never the answer, theres always sth more beautiful ahead if we hold on. Congrats to y'all jare. |
Hope deferred truly makes the heart sick |
This nnpc thread clowns everywhere. Wetin Emeka no go see for Idumota ![]() Pleasing the crowd is really very difficult |
GeniusOla:Flesh and blood did not reveal this to u |
The electrical engineer in your class that decides to be an "electrician", learns from an artisan electrician for a few months and , starts doing wiring for people by hinself is already an artisan and give him a few years, he'll employ you ![]() So once again I ask "why did we leave artisan jobs for non graduates?" |
saxha:You still fail to see the bigger picture: artisans dont need salary, they dont need be to paid 12x a year (chew on that) And from ur US bureau of statistics brouhaha u quoted, I ask once again how many of such jobs exists in Nigeria for graduates: not everybody will get the limited jobs. Good reasons we should not be deceived that going to school is the only way to become rich, as we were told back then. If u dont understand this, I cant help u |
joobseekar:No wonder ur nickname is jobseeker ![]() You've probably neither never read books on these subjects (try and read: "global brands: how they made it" nor ever been employed only to find out your salary is just a bribe to mk u forget your destinyOne advice though: very very few jobs will ever make u financially stable (even this nnpc salary no go do u after a few years) - learn a trade, it will help u |
Donas11:The truth of the matter is this "education in Nigeria" issa big scam: No matter how brilliant u are, out of every 100 graduates, only about 15 will get "good jobs". The rest will scout for jobs until they get depressed. Its the way of life. 48,000+/batch of graduates pass out of NYSC 3x a year, NNPC, SHELL, MOBIL, BELEMA, TOTAL all IOC and Govt agencies will scarcely take a total of 10,000 yearly, so what will the rest do? The solution is simple: tell your younger ones and kids: education is a mirage: learn a life skill, dont leave carpentary, electrician, plumbing (artisan jobs) for "illiterates". You can be a cook or a tailor and make it in life *drops mic* |
So she acted in "Some mothers do 'av them?" aka Mr Spencer? This woman story teaches a lot. The mind is a weird place. If you feed it negativity and hold onto grudges you'll reap same and vice versa. Much love. Funny enough, I actually just knew her name today |
.. |
Haltek:To succeed in doing nothing is staying in your comfort zone, not making attempts to change your story whilst telling people that they will fail in doing what they are doing. A clear example of succeeding in doing nothing is Mr "NNPC is only for politicians children, so I won't bother applying" They always discourage you from believing and trying novel things. . . . VERY DANGEROUS SET OF PEOPLE!!! |
dogtails:Is this really necessary? Why are u always intent on pouring out your very bitter bile on other peoples hustle? Allow guys to be expectant and focus your hustle on your next meal. NNPC invited folks to Abuja, they came expending brains, energy, time and money and your lot is telling a person to get ready to cry? Were actually did you go wrong in life? Did u have a difficult childhood? You really need to see a doctor. You're really bitter I'll leave you with this quote: It is better to fail doing something than to succeed in doing nothing |
"What NANS should face now is to study very hard and graduate and make a reasonable degree. They have not graduated yet and they are looking for employment,’’ he said" who else saw this? Meanwhile, the funny thing about law is that even the basest things is subject to interpretation. One lawyer would inteprate it as a suspension pending the Oct 29th hearing, another would opine that it means continue your recruitment unless the hearing by Oct 29th says otherwise. I think the former appeals to my senses |
And that how the narrative starts all over again ![]() The same thing that transpired towards the end of the 2012 recruitment. People suggesting writing of mails, online campaigns, carrying placards, twitter hashtags etc Nigerians are really very poor students of history |
naijatruth2019:If u still believe this guy, then somewhere in a thick forest, inside Benin city, 3 old women are playing naira bet with your destiny. ![]() Get busy and remove your mind from fake NNPC Apl dates |
Some persons be opening new monikers just to deceive themselves. Dude registered on the 17th of September and is here telling us he has sacrosanct facts that we must believe ![]() Its obvious you've soiled your name here with your former moniker, and chose to revenge your ban with giving gullible fellows false hope. NEWS FLASH: new monilkers HAVE NO CREDIBILITY!!! In other news, the new NL interface looks very sleek ![]() |
So they said when it was just under 1 month, then 2 months, Now 3 months, soon 6 months ![]() Point he/she is making is that not everyone will have the same gusto to accept the NNPC offer after a year. Some go don go Canada, others gotten better offers or even opted out of being in the regular 8-5 employ and become complete job owners MajesticD: |
Shebi they said NNPC board did not meet? ![]() o ya lets disperse till October |
@larride the author of ABT, have they paid you? Just curious? You seem to be a bit more reserved these days |
Gbyms:Is like u want to slap your father? Be guided |
Here's my pick on the AB and the 1% theory. For EH: it's possible they picked the positions with the highest grades that qualified also for the FCC quota, paid them, and then paid the rest that didn't qualify. Eg for AUDITOR role, 400 EH did interviews across all states.3 slots needed, they select the highest 3 from different states, and pay all 400 including the 3, cos there's no further need. For GT, take all the lowest guys that didn't meet a certain cut off, and take the highest scoring from each state and pay off this set. The remaining ones will be subject to further scrutiny This way, if you're paid you're either too good or too bad... so nobody knows his fate yet still
|
Isn't it strange that there are some people in this life that will feel bad when they're given free money ![]() Despite the fact that nnpc officially told us they'll be giving a small stipend to everybody... propaganda really sells in Nigeria |
geektrovert:It depends on what you want to achieve with your pricing: if its market penetration - in this case you stick to mass marketing and channel your value chain to reduce cost of production and give low prices - like what Tecno and Infinix phones are doing; Coversely , if youwant to reach the target market values quality over quantity, you channel your value chain to increaseing premium values at a more expensive price - what Apple is doing is a good example. You can read up Porters Value chain. Have you asked your self why no matter what happens: a Skoda CAN NEVER be more expensive than a Rolls Royce ![]() |
. I even told you guys that nothing would happen before February 14th. Ya all were praising Jarus and insulting me. When his predictions failed, he couldn’t hide his face in shame.
