When prayers are made for an individual, in order words supplications, there is no guarantee that the prayers will yield fruit in the life of the mortal man without the willingness of the spirit of the man either consciously or unconsciously.

The answer to the petition( prayer ) can come in form of dreams, counsel, trials, rebuke et al. But for the mortal man to comply, there must be an alignment of the spirit man with the spirit of prayer for a conviction to occur in the physical realm. If there is no alignment of which the spirit man whether consciously or not is the sole determinant, the prayer will yield no fruit.


This is why it wasn't everyone that the Lord Jesus preached to in His days. There were people who could have been healed or prayed for, but He didn't because as God in mortal form, He knew all men and the end result. That is why He didn't pray for the soul of Judas Iscariot. The same way that the great Apostle Paul was restrained from preaching the Gospel in a region. The Spirit knew that there wouldn't be an alignment and the purpose will be futile.

Nevertheless, as Earth men since we are greatly limited and can never know it all, we still need to pray and intercede for one another with the hope that the person would hearken to the spirit of prayer that we've rendered.

Focus on money, shouldn't be the preaching of today. If Christianity is all about money, then there is no point in being a Christian. One can be rich without Jesus.
