I haven't set eyes on him since she told me. I have searched for him but I haven't been able to find him. A bullet between the eyes is my ideal punishment. I believe karma has in some way taken care of him because no one has heard from him for a long time.

She is not a virgin at a young age
cos if the so called cousin was the that disvirgin
gher of course she will scream during the process.
I said sexually molested, I never said rape. Besides, he could easily have placed a hand across her mouth to stifle her scream if he penetrated. I pray none of your sisters or daughters ever go through the painful process. If not, you wouldn't have left the subject matter to come and talk about whether she was a vrigin or not. So, if she wasn't a vrigin, it was okay for the guy to rape or sexually molest her? You people amaze me with your reasoning sometimes

Younger. Can't remember the exact age but I don't want to call her to ask. I believe we just got into secondary school then

Her case may sound silly but it MIGHT be true. My sister was sexually molested even at a younger age. It was very many years later she told me. The weird thing was that my brother's and I were at home that day. We were in the living room watching television while they were in the guest room. He told her to keep saying a particular thing so we wouldn't suspect what was going on while he abused her. We were all very young then and were NTA 2 channel 5 addicts, so we didn't see it out of the ordinary that our senior cousin was with our sister alone in the room.

I asked her why she didn't speak up then so the guy would be lynched. She said she was afraid no one would believe her, the fear of being called a spoilt child for saying such things and the fear of my cousin too who began treating her like dirt but we were too young to notice then. She was traumatized too.

So don't ask why rape victims don't come out early to talk. No one in our family knows this except me. It would hurt my parents terribly if they did, so it's our little secret

I don't know if Busola is saying the truth or not, just saying there are many rape victims out there who can't talk out of fear or one reason or the other.

Education / Re: How I Almost Ruined My Life Academically!!! by thepatroit: 8:38am On Jun 21, 2019
Op, congratulations on moving forward. Please stop looking at others. I learned this lesson from my own family. We all got direct entry into the university except my younger brother who did part time. My younger sister graduated before him because of that. We all did our Nysc but he couldn't because of the part time. We used to tease him a lot about not serving. Today, he's the most successful out of all of us. Dude is a big man now. We all have different paths to follow in this life. Even twins don't share the same destiny. It is well with you. Peace.

Travel / Re: My Experience At The Jos Wildlife Park (photos) by thepatroit: 12:54pm On Jun 20, 2019
I visited the place, too during the Easter break and was sorely disappointed. There were no guides or directions. We just kept walking until we saw the next cage. The monkeys and baboons kept begging for food and I regretted not coming with some bananas because I didn't know if visitors were allowed to feed the animals. Someone gave one of the baboons sachet water and he took it like it was gold. What a pity! I heard Jos zoo is even worse.

I, however, saw a cute rabbit in the snake's cage. It was patiently waiting to be eaten. All the animals looked bored.

Where do I start from? Two days ago, I was thinking it's going to be Father's day soon and I felt like creating a thread for all that man did to us.

He was always quick to abuse us, call us useless, tell us we'll never make it. He never believed in us. He paid our school fees alright but always with insults. He told my mum he wasted his money sending me to a private university. Always cheating on my mum. Right in my presence, he told his friend that his friend is lucky to have brilliant children unlike his. None of us have ever failed an exam o. My mum kept telling him to treat us right but he said he doesn't want us to see him finish. Anytime he's traveling, we were always very joyous. I tried my best to get close to him but he always waits till people are plenty and disgrace you. Never advised us. All he always had for us were insults. Always told our favorite uncle bad things about us, that one stopped giving us gifts and money. We knew the combination to his safe but never touched a dime. He never allowed us touch his cars. Keeps a record of every dime he spends on us. So many things.

Now the dude is saying after taking us to school that we've forgotten him. No one calls him. We spend hours talking to our mum, send her money and gifts. She begs us to send to him too but we do for her ten times what we do for him. I have forgiven him but in my next life, I don't want a father like him.

Hi. I don't know if you can help me. My daughter kept pressing the wrong password on my iPad 1 and it eventually got disabled. I tried unlocking it with various means online but I haven't been able to because the process involves downloading the latest ios but the iPad is the first generation type of ios 6. Please is there a way I can go around it? The iPad holds sentimental values to me even though I have other gadgets. Thanks

Politics / Re: 2019 Presidential Election Results Announcement By Mahmood Yakubu, INEC Chairman by thepatroit: 6:36pm On Feb 26, 2019
I've been very silent and indifferent about this election because I already foresaw the outcome. I live in the north, so I laughed when I saw that people thought Atiku would win. Reasons being;

1. The average northern illiterate believe Buhari is Mr. Integrity, a saint. The only incorrupt leader and Atiku is corrupt. They believe other corrupt people around Buhari are the ones spoiling his government. So he should still be given another chance to rid Nigeria of corruption. Funny.

2. Atiku's running mate is an Igbo man. They'd rather starve to death and continue to live in poverty under Buhari than have an Igbo man in aso rock who they believe are part of the people spoiling Buhari's leadership with their Biafra agitation. So Atiku is seen as a desperate betrayer for daring to contest with an 'infidel' by his side.

So I'm not surprised at all at the outcome of the northern results. They're the ones with the highest percentage of poverty but they'd rather remain there with what they believe is a true son (Buhari) than a backstabber (Atiku)

I'm not a fan of either of them, I wish there had been a third stronger candidate but it's the way it is. Another four years of Bubu. All well and good, then we'll say goodbye to the north till like 2031, I pray.

Dearie, it's not an argument. I'm sorry if I offended you by taking sides with mummykyrti. But when you see a TTC mother weeping brokenly because she was scammed by such people, you can't help but wish evil, even death on them. My sister has been there. @mummykyrti is right. You don't need a soothsayer to tell you she's fake. I even expected her (could be a he even) to end with the usual spellcaster as the source of her pregnancy. So they have changed their M.O. to herbs. Send them a mail at your own peril.

His attachment and reaction over and above your feelings is suspicious! He's just too sensitive where he's concerned or has he ever hit you before now ?
God take control oo
My thoughts exactly. Which kine cousin be that? Cousin wey go make husband slap wife in the presence of mother-in-law not once but twice.

Curvilicious babe, please ask him questions when you guys have settled issues (which by God's grace you will) His thought might be since you haven't given him a child, you dare not complain about his first (just speculating though. Because I no understand this kine 'cousinly' love again)

He's lucky you're not my sister. You would have left this morning with our mother and he'd crawl and beg to take you back. That's after I give him a black eye. I can't stand violence against God's delicate creatures. If the woman's mouth runs like a faulty tap and is full of needles, I'd rather leave the house for her for a couple of hours. It is well.
