@Jules123 - Dont take the harsh replies it too hard. I'm sure its nothing personal.
Most people here are just expressing their opinions on the matter to you the same way they would to a good friend - harsh, blunt, uncoated and devoid of any tact, sensitivity or diplomacy. especially as it seems ur position on the issue is already defined and aligned toward a certain direction.

Yes! She sounds so 30ish to me and a woman in that age range can't be a virgin unless something is unusually, scarily and metaphysically wrong somewhere. Or rather she's good at faking to be in her 30ish when she's less than 20, either way, she makes a good impostor.

Politics › Re: Nigerians: The Happiest People And The Most Stupid? by TheSeeker(m): 1:44pm On Jul 01, 2009
Nigerian situation is truly pathetic to say the least. Everyday it keeps deteriorating because the permanent silence of the citizenry. I can say yes Nigerians are stupid in a way but on the other hand you might not have the total back up facts to blame them. Let me break this down for you.
As it is in most cases, when you throw verbal attacks at the government in Nigeria, one way or the other you suffer for it and when you do, the people whom you have defended will back off and annoyingly, they will sideline with the government whom you attacked. Why don't you question the failure of the media to report proper and verified facts? You will go to many states and you'll see state's TV raining accolades on the governor even when it is evident they have been filtering the treasury of millions of Naira with Ghana-must-go bags. I know of a state where I went to a night club and I was seated in the same VIP as the governor, he was rocking with this girl supposedly in her early 20's(if she's that old), there are many WESTERN WORLD leaders who have been forced to resign amidst these types of affairs as it'd have hit the TV screens that night.

80% of Nigerians are from poor homes and like a friend tells me, "Nigeria isn't a good country but no one wishes to die" I believe that and not even one person wants to die violently. There are cases of suicide bombers in the Middle East because they have rich moguls who "pay" for their lives probably to their families and next of kin. Bring that down to Nigeria and I tell you some people will gladly take that offer -- I wouldn't for any reason. It can also be bordered on another dimension that, Nigerians as you have classed us as stupid, are much smarter of what will be our fate if we dare demonstrate. I remember some members of National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) who marched and demonstrated, they got killed and what did the police say about it, they said it was an "accidental discharge" but some students had been killed and some families thrown into grief--- let me be quick to remind you that Nigeria believes so much in religion that they believe evil or misfortune of whatever magnitude must not fall on their family, call it stupidity but they believe so much in that,  that's why you find that 98% of Christians are familiar with the Book of Psalms. What humanitarian group do we have in Nigeria to represent the families of the grieved? None! The ones we have are busy lining up with the government, taking money from and representing their treacherous opinions at the international stage.

I totally agree that Nigerians have some stupid attitudes of saying "will of God" when it comes to issues that requires prompt and urgent attention. Someone is suffering from Tuberculosis, when it was supposed to be stopped at the initial symptoms, the parents kept say "Jesus will heal her" till today as I speak, she still suffers from that ailment and a lot more I can't start to mention here.

It's now norm in Nigeria that politicians are honored in Churches because of the funds they donate to the Churches and how much cut the Pastors are entitled to. Pastors flying in jets while half their members are drowning in penury strikes me more like successful candidates of Hell Fire that they preach against. Jesus never rode on a Horse until he asked his disciples to cut one lose for him -- guess that was when he was going into Jerusalem, but contemporary pastors are riding in expensive jeeps and wearing expensive suits and they preach on the pew that members should help fellow members, what about them? They do nothing, zip, Nada!

Igbos I believe might be great fighters of their own rights who believe in their own cause but I don't think they will want to take up any civil war again, they will need support against the cruel "FULANI GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA" and where will they get that from? The Yoruba? Probably from Niger Delta. I wouldn't encourage another civil war anyway. We all see what's going on Islamic Republic of Iran and we know how much the whole world have been watching to see the outcome, if that happens here, who do you think will give consent? No one!

My drift is Nigerians might be slightly stupid but that's predicated on their fears of what the future holds which is normal. You see everyone wanting to travel out of the country and you think another youth will be on the street demonstrating? Hell no! If it's that easy, why don't you come here and start an anti-government group? I agree with some parts of what you're passing across but I don't buy all of the fact that Nigerians are stupid. They are very smart, and no one wants to die untimely. Pastor Bakare was lucky to have gotten away with that -- He should have said that to Late Abacha or IBB and see what happens to him within 48 hours.  If anyone wants to go anti- government, it should be the media. Check out what FOX News is doing to President Obama

1.No matter how happily a woman may be married, it always pleases her to discover

THIS IS AN ALL-TIME TRUTH

2)Women are wiser than men because they know less and understand more.  I disagree, albeit, women are crafty!

3) Every woman is wrong until she cries, and then she is right, instantly
Yoruba calls those kind of women "tu'le tu'le" -- HOME WRECKERS. ( I believe a woman should prove her right whether or not she cries)

You shouldn't have put your pics on here at first, what for? Just like Austin asked, do you want us to trip for or pity you? Girls take time before they say they love you even when they actually fall conspicuously with you -- this probably might be your first relationship. However, don't rely on her assertion that she doesn't have another boyfriend.

Politics › Gbenga Daniel, Wale Alausa And Their Projected Atrocities! by TheSeeker(op): 9:47am On Jul 01, 2009
Monday, 29 June 2009 10:08   By Jide Osokoya-PM News

Honourable Wale Alausa, representing Ijebu-Ode Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, has said that Governor Gbenga Daniel forced him to take an oath in 2007 contrary to the report in the Nigerian Compass this morning.
Reacting to the story, “Ogun 15 lawmakers on blood oath,” Hon. Alausa said it was a fabrication aimed at ridiculing his person and his colleagues in the house by Daniel and his agents.

He confessed that the photographs published by Compass today were genuine but were taken in 2007 inside Daniel’s Sagamu mansion and its environs when he was forced to take an oath before he could get the PDP ticket to the state House of Assembly.

The lawmaker said he and his colleagues (G15) never took any oath and neither did they visit any shrine in Ijebu-Igbo to take an oath, adding that it was pure blackmail by Daniel to stop the House from carrying out its oversight functions.

“The photographs on the front page of Compass today were truly mine but the story was fabricated. I was forced to take the photographs in Governor Daniel’s Sagamu home in 2007 when he forcefully implemented the oath on me in order to get me a ticket to the House of Assembly. And that is what he has done to everybody.

“Let him come out and deny, if he did not compel my father Chief Agboola Alausa to persuade me to take the oath. I rest my case for now. But the struggle continues,” he said.
According to Compass, “the crisis in Ogun State involving G 15 members of the House of Assembly was triggered by a blood oath taken at a shrine in Ijebu-Igbo, Ijebu North Local Government, last year, the Nigerian Compass learnt last night.

“The members took the oath to ensure a united front against Governor Gbenga Daniel. The oath was sponsored by some politicians including the father of a prominent politician in Abuja, a Senator, a former South-West governor, a former minister and another prominent politician in Ogun State.”

The report added: “the oath, which was taken Unclad by the members and in daylight, was witnessed by the sponsors and the native doctors, the administrators of the oath.

“Items used for the oath included blood, cow heads, calabash and other fetish materials. Each participant swore to upholding opposition to Daniel at all times and submitted to the death of their first born, should they renege on the oath.
“Each of them was required to mention the name of their first child in the course of the oath, setting in motion serious consequences for the children should their fathers go back on the prescribed course of opposition.
“The Nigerian Compass learnt that the finality of this oath is why prominent traditional rulers such as the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Michael Sonariwo, and other prominent leaders such as Prince Bola Ajibola, General Tunji Olurin and Yeye Oodua H.I.D. Awolowo were unable to persuade them to change their stance.”

Maybe she should lecture the rest of the ladies on "How to have a boyfriend without having sex". But then, maybe she never had a boyfriend or just planning on having one soon or the guy is getting it somewhere else while they both agreed not to have sex until they are married. Either way, I don't believe that will fly with 90% guys -- sex that is.

Romance › Re: What Qualities Do Women Find Attractive In Men? by TheSeeker(m): 7:26am On Jul 01, 2009
First thing a woman looks out for in a man is his looks. If he's not looking averagely good, his chances are minimal. If he ain't looking good, his wallet will come into consideration, now if he's got that, the looks will be overlooked.

As they delve into the relationship, if he's got lots of "KOKOMYCIN" to offer, he's in good hands.

Only after these are present then all the other moral attitudes are checked out. That accounts for why some girls despite being morally abused by men, they still stick to the man thinking they can make it work.

I second 190's comment. I have not found it within my manners to tell her how beautiful she looks but the look in my eyes tells it all. Admiring her or not doesn't have to crush her penchant for looking good, moreover, she's looking good for herself too not for me alone.
Romance › Re: Men: Would You Tell Your Lady How Much You Earn Or Are Worth? by TheSeeker(m): 6:33am On Jul 01, 2009
I will let her know how much I earn and how much I am worth but that's only if I'm married to her already. If she's just a girlfriend, I might just let her know how much I earn depending on the depth of my relationship with her. Even if I do let her know and she shoots up her demands, I'd still maintain that I can't spend that much money, besides I'm working my ass off not to pay her needs but to make something meaningful out of life.

Common sense
You probably didn't understand what I meant. Given that she's abstaining from a bath with her boyfriend and settles comfortably more with her husband(if she's married) based on religious beliefs, what will kissing and touching be categorized as? They are just as good sexual acts as having a bath with a boyfriend. But in her response to your comment, I see it's a choice she's made --- not based on religious beliefs.
