bluespice:Strenuous chain of friendship. Anyways, each time you remembered that, I bet you'll feel sober, won't you? |
I can tolerate both! Hope she tolerates getting kicked out by both my feet!
![]() |
She won't kill you. Forget about the embarrassment and go for the kill. You will come to understand that when a man is confident, sometimes, depending on the woman involved, she will be shy. |
yea definitely. i agree with u also, when guys are responsible for toasting the girls, the guys usually fall on the short end of the stick. it means that they are the ones who likes the girl more and the girl prolly just followed along and sometimes doesn't like the guy as much ( i mean eventually she likes him better and all that so it works out most of the time) with the girls that toast the guys, the girl falls on the short end since she likes the guy more and the guy is just following along (ex. kfed hahaha) like u mentioned in ur first post, " he might have been somewhat interested" or "have little or no interest" etc
Correctly judged. Although, I still don't think women who talk up guys are losing their pride. It all depends on how the guy sees it. Some guys see it as just plain stupidity. Some take advantage of that to do whatever they want, he'd say "after all she asked me out". But overall, I think a woman who comes out boldly to tell a guy such should be commended for her courage. |
not all ladies. lol but it's usually preferred that way. i would prefer it that way as well haha so convenient ![]() i mean britney spears asked kfed out and even initiated the marriage proposal. lol look how they ended up
There are relationships where the lady asked the guy out and they did really well -- and still do. Britney Spears was just an arrogantly stupid girl who was way too deep into her own head. Don't even get me started. That girl is a black sheep to womanhood. |
Depends on what kind of drink it is. Any type of gin will not work for me. I don't smoke but if she does, I can tolerate that if she does in moderation. But drinking to stupor, I'll pass. |
just speaking generally. black girls tend to expect the guys to toast them. while with white ppl, the girls are expected to toast the guys. funny ain't it ![]() maybe just in my experience
You are right. |
If you have to always check out other people's faces before dating someone, then I'll advise you don't do it. I wouldn't want to hide my relationship for whatever reason, not even if I'm dating my boss' daughter. It's either I do it --or-- it never happens at all. |
bluespice:Exactly! NairaLand is an online version of Federal Republic of Nigeria except that we don't have OBJ, IBB, Iwu, Atiku here yet. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen here, or we will have Niger Delta too -- we all know what that means ![]() |
yea that very common. it's almost the norm. except with black ppl of course
Why the exemption of black people? |
savanaha:Very sensible. That tells why you see a man so old and staggered looking getting married to a smart young damsel
i dun think nigerian men are waiting for young girls that are virgins. i like to think that nairaland is not a representation of what goes on in naija. . . i hope lol
They may not be waiting for virgins but they wait for younger girls because of their premonition that a young girl isn't "spoiled" yet. I know of some who would say they won't marry a girl that went to the university-- don't get it twisted, they are very learned men. |
Emmanbaba:Na over-sabi. Maybe na Harvard or Cambridge graduate him be. But bros, no tell me say you no get anything to talk at all after you don digest am abi you no fit join join every grammar wey him talk finish? |
prixxy:What's with the gifts? He has been treating her good, making her feel like a queen, what else does she need? Pharaoh's head? Or the six wheel car Oprah Winfrey bought? |
whitelexi:Thank you. Some women just don't cease to upset you. |
im guessing my desire is now wrong. like i said earlier, maybe im not thinking about the consequences and thats why im here asking for thoughts and opinions. we all have one life to live. i just wish, infact i dont know what to wish for
The consequences are going to put your family into enormous wreckage as well as utter domestic jeopardy than your obsession can right the wrongs at the wake of it all. sistawoman:Alright. Be careful. I don't wish you standing in front of the big boss saying you're sorry. |
sistawoman:Sistawoman, that's always one thing consistently right about you --- You always come through. How's it been at your end? |
C2H5OH:Happened to me more than thrice but I don't see it as abnormal. |
You aren't wasting. Relationship is a state of the mind thing. If and when someone good for you comes along, you won't know when you'll be swung. |
Igwe, the seeker and martho, b4 you guys crucify me I AM NOT AGAINST BLACK KIDS AND WOULD STILL HAVE SOME BLACK KIDS. I NEVER SAID I DO NOT WANT BLACK KIDS NEITHER DID I SAY I WOULD DECEIVE PEOPLE IT IS MY HUSBAND. This is just my desire to have at least one. I AM NOT OBSESSIVE ABOUT MIXED KIDS.
Maybe you need to look up what obsession means. You're so into mixed kids, I don't see anything wrong with that -- although I wouldn't go out of my moral way to have a child out of wedlock unless it happened in a way I couldn't avoid or push over. I'm not crucifying you either, but as sistawoman had asked, what truth do you prepare on telling your black kids? That you are like to a mixed kids hence making them just a necessity and your "owned" mixed kid a very invaluable asset? You need a reality check. A question just popped up to my mind. You love mixed kids predominantly because of their external features, what if, God forbid, the child gets involved in a fire accident and has a second degree burn? What happens? You'll have another mixed kid? |
Dr Kitaun:And who has asked Seun to close down NL? You're just twisted! |
It's been a common phenomenon that some girls find guys attractive and chat them up. It happens such that, when the guy has little or no interest in them, they show a great deal of interest and sometimes talk them into a relationship. I understand before the guy accepts such proposal, he might have been somewhat interested in the girl, and they both start to kick it. What do you think about this situation? Do you think it's normal for a woman to talk up a guy for a relationship? If you think so, why? If your opinion is that it ain't normal, why? If it's happened to you before, can you share a little bit of your experience? PS: In some parts of Africa, they see it as the woman throwing away her pride of womanhood. |
Ask her anything down to if she had at anytime been harassed sexually by his dad or uncle. |
Your mental capacity is so shrink that of everything in the world, this is the best thread you could come up with! Dirty rat! |
Wonders shall never end on NL! Just what's thrilling about having mixed kids? And what's wrong with black kids? I'd like to state the obvious that humans, tend to, in our pursuit of stupid desires, call for problems. I believe you can only do that if you don't plan on getting married, but think about the warfare with the dad. Then, if you're getting married to a black man, Nigerian or wherever he's from, do you think the mixed kid won't stand out? Even though all of them are from you, let's get on a reality check, you can't love them the same. There's a difference between what you had a passion for and got it than what happened to you because it's natural. You had the mixed kid because it was your passion, and have the black kids because you got married and the man wants kids because he thinks you can have them. Come off the high horse that you'll love them the same --- you can tell that to the monkeys. No matter how much you love kids, there's bound to be that favorite amongst them -- this is a fact, take it or leave it. What becomes of your marriage when your husband finds out you're so obsessive about this mixed kids than anything else that has to do with all of you as a family? I think you want to try the life we see in movies. What if for some reasons, the kid doesn't look mixed and turns out to be all white or all black? Huh?? Think again! However, let me make my point clear, there's nothing wrong in wanting a mixed kid. But get over the fact that it won't affect your future family --- because it always will. And when it hits, you're prone to the worst hurting. |
@Dr Kitaun It may not be none of my business for all you care. And yes, I didn't follow up on the history of the conversation between you both, and NO, I am not in the sway for people who disrespect other people's parent. I'm only speaking in context of what I read so far and that's based on his poor English Language coordination. I wasn't familiar with the moral angle of your petty feud! |
Well if this happens, where do you start from with your imagination? Is it how he sucks her? How he unwraps her? How he fiddles all spots at the dirty south? That's a horrible experience to live with. I'd rather just let the relationship slide. This world is so cold, I hope you guys all have sweater on. |
Tolerate cheating Haba 190! I won't accept or by the slightest means tolerate any. But if she happened to sleep with her ex, I will forgive that faster than if she did with a new guy. Wanna know why?? She may be able to disintegrate her feelings from her ex just as long as you have everything on lockdown when you find out while if it's with a new guy, the feelings and "love" has just started, so cutting that short will be a difficult task |
Keep tabs on her every time she leaves the cubicle. If she's gone to the bathroom, meet her up there and do to her what she had earlier wanted. ![]() |
