sistawoman:Hmmmm, That's like a trip to Paris or Barcelona or Bahamas --- VERY ROMANTIC! |
chiogo:Now that is diplomacy! |
ThoniaSlim:If he's not worth it then he's not yours. I'm talking about those women who go around claiming a guy all for themselves. Say something and live by it. If he's yours, fight for it. Period! |
nateevs:I sincerely hope that was meant for the poster. On a brief second though, if you want to correct someone's grammar anomalies, don't you think it should be done in private? If it has to be done on a public forum like this, don't you think it should be done with some respect? Not everyone spells correctly and simply because of his inability to project a good spelling capacity doesn't mean he shouldn't speak publicly. I still reiterate that you go to the EDUCATION section if you have to disapprove anyone's English Language prowess. NONSENSE! |
@ everyone, First of all, let me state here that my Username has nothing to do with my Personality, i'm nothing even close to a materialistic or demanding type of person (he knows it and luvs me for it). I luv him for who he is and not what i can get from him. Thanks for bashing me and making me look like a convict and materialistic person. I never said i don't appreciate all the things he's done for me. He is a good person, that i thank God for. I'm not saying that he should spend all he's got on me, I don't even know how much he earns. I always show sincere appreciation for EVERYTHING he does for me including that first gift and he knows. I guess he's not the gift type of person like some of you have said, i just thought one of the ways Love is usually expressed with is Giving. Sometimes i feel sad when my own thoughtful gestures are not reciprocated. It would make me feel special if he at least gives me something for my birthday. I don't want a car, a designer shoe, bag or an expensive wristwatch. What i cherish most is the gesture in it than the gift itself (that don't mata but the gesture).
You just said he has a very good paying job, so how come you know that if you don't know how much he earns? What if he gives yet cheats on you? Well, maybe you want the expensive gifts as your birthday present. Hell! Do you know he may have been watching you closely only to find out you love gifts and he deliberately cut that short from your relationship? He might just be a tight wad and talking gifts to his ears will be like tell him to send money to US soldiers in Iraq! I think what you'd be more concerned about is if your relationship is working out good which from your assertions I deduce to be fairing very well -- he takes you out, cares for you, loves you and all, so what's with the gift sentiments? You're bordering more on the materialism line and I'm sorry that no one will see you in another light differently from this. I ain't saying gifts ain't good, but so long as he treats you good, I think that's all that matters. Some women will be wishing they have a guy like yours who treats them good and there you are whining about his failure to procure you gifts that you will be "proud" of him for. If the gifts you buy him makes him happy, why don't you just keep doing that and blind yourself absolutely from thinking of the reciprocal? You make enough women out there look bad already! Prada girl!!! Why don't you just buy him a Louis V? |
No one has come forward to tell me they've done it before. |
Fight for whatever is deservedly yours but do it in the right manner! Most of these girls on here go on professing their undying love to their boyfriends, but when it comes to working towards ensuring they own that spot that they claim to be theirs, they back out and rant this "diplomatic" "too decent" bullshit! If you know he's yours, fight to keep him. No matter how much your game is tight with your man, there's always another woman out there who will make your guy's jaws open and say WOW!!! |
Hilarious! Customer care? Do you work with a gas station? Perhaps, you work at the call center for Mr. Biggs! |
Thank you everyone for the advice! It was appreciated. Wish y'all a good time on NairaLand. |
enjeria:Your advice is appreciated, I wouldn't want to go for that though! |
Put a smile on your face, no matter the condition! Show her your 32 ooooo! |
Most women want perfection! Either she's staying for the money or she's staying because she "loves" him. But what's with the laugh and clap That's fishy! |
Moderation is the key to a successful habit -- whether good or bad. Being picky isn't bad as long as you don't cross the line. Have in your mind what you want but always be realistic to yourself. Let me use this forum(romance)as an instance -- you want a boyfriend and you want to choose, make sure your preference is within realistic reasoning. Don't start thinking of love scenes like the ones in Romeo & Juliet or the ones in "Titanic". Don't think he should look as handsome as "Jesus" -- that is who I consider most handsome. Apply moderation in everything, however, don't stoop any low from your desired want. |
eyonigger:Can you tell the NL public one, not only good, but justifiable reason why you referred to me as a pervert? It's always disheartening when for sure we think some people's head should be brimming heavily with sensible thoughts, but on closer encounter, we find out what strong stench comes out of the organic manure in their skull, which they refer to as the "brain". This "brain" I believe functions as effective as half the sense of smell of a pig. Now, will you tell us what you mean when you called me a "pervert"? I dare ask you again! |
Depends on the kind of situation but even if I do, I will not let anyone know. But on a second thought, what if one of her previous clients was my dad or my elder or even my younger brother? Hmmmmm, now no one would ever want that. I do agree with Mr.Brown that it doesn't matter as long as she has put it in her past. There are so many of these so called "good" girls who are worse than prostitutes. They keep as many as 6 boyfriends, 4 sugar daddies and they have miscellaneous d*cks at the club or bachelor's eve. I have had a lot of those before -- you know, regular girls who you'd just chat up and to your utter and upgraded disappointment, they'd fall for you like a pack of cards and you'll have sex just about anywhere, as bad a place, as the toilet. They still do exist. I remember each time I step feet on Nigerian soil, they bring me these university girls, most of whom have called their boyfriends right in my presence. What do you call these? Someone once told me that marrying a woman is like buying an non-certified goods, whatever you find there is what you'd accept! I do have to admit though, that the few professional hookers I have come in contact with, some of them have quite good characters that I questioned their decision to become whores --- well oh well, we all know what the response would be. As for me, marrying an ex-prostitute might be kind of dicey. On another dimension, what if I get married to her, we have kids and one of her ex-clients is my next door neighbor, he tells his wife and subsequently their kids get to know about it, and then they lash it out on my kids at school, how does that feel? Man, this is tight but I'd prefer not to do it at all than do it and await the moral degrade |
touchmeder:Just curious, have you done it before? |
pc guru:Why do you think so? |
MRbrownJAY:I said in the post there may be possibility of them being hundreds of thousands of miles apart. |
Using your phone or camcorder to make a short video of yourself, then send it to your boyfriend or girlfriend, would you class it as romantic or being a stupid and hopeless nonentity? The content of the video might be you saying how special your partner is or some random funny and silly stuffs or maybe your partner is very very distant from you and you wanted to send them a video via an e-mail or a link. What do you think? |
Your must have been naturally born to be weak. Accept your fate! |
