I have met troubled ladies that want friendship without love. Reason being that they have always been disappointed trying to love someone. They claim love is dead to them but they are still much very religious.

On conversing with one o them about this. The text above came up. How can you love God when you can not love your fellow you can see.

This made her to change the topic to Eros love since she can not generalize that love is dead.

On talking about Eros love, she avoided using the word friends but kept on talking about romantic love.

On checking the meaning of romantic love, we found it mean romance or attraction resulting to a feeling of love. In other words, romantic love is just a feeling but what she wanted was friendship.

We checked meaning of friendship and found it to mean a relationship of mutual affection between people. Affection was also defined as a kind of love that keeps one feeling secured and cared for.

This definition of affection became her definition of love. That is the love most ladies want, to be cared for. I now reminded her that this is still under friendship. So it is not possible for her to be friends with someone without exchange of love. This is were she lost it finally.

Her next line of defence was casual friends and not being emotionally committed. At this stage is where I have to hit her had. I called her selfish and wicked. Men have their flaws in emotional matters but ladies are the problem since they are the receivers of this affection and not the givers in real sense.

If a man should love a lady, he is accepting all her emotional flaws and character deficits and mood swings. That is the definition of love. But ladies choose who loves them. This has made them created list of standards set for the man to meet not minding that the man is the one making the sacrifice to accept their flaws.

This has become our relationship with God. Romans 5:8, NIV: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Instead of us to receive the love of God, we began to set standards for God to prove Himself. Deuteronomy 6:4: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.

You only set standards when you have options. This has made people talk about a wicked God while a whole lot if others are shouting 'God does not exist'.

Don't put yourself in this confusion. You already know the truth that you have been selfish and want things be done your way and non other. It won't stop the One God from loving you. Not until His grace leaves the earth.

I was/have been in a relationship with him for years, initially it was all rosy till he began to switch on/off at intervals.We hardly request for anything from each other because we both work and contented with the little we earn. Each time I sense that he wants to be left alone, I quietly give him his space. I have tried times without number to make him open up to me but it will all seem like a waste which makes me to retreat all the time. Mind you, he knows that i love him and practically can do anything or forgive him anytime he messes up.

Our last fight before this was that he called me during working hours and wanted to know if I was chanced to meet him then i asked him if all was well with him, he became angry and dropped the call. I tried reaching out to him for months but he intentionally avoided me, after 3 to 4 months of my efforts, I decided to let him be to concentrate on myself and others, he started stalking me on all online platforms. We later settled though.

To the main issue for this post, I have a colleague at work, we discuss practically everything and anything. My other colleagues knows that we are both best friends and nothing else, we also make fun of ourselves on 'stories'. But the issue is that my boyfriend thinks something is beyond that our friendship and that i have things i am hiding from him. Best option, get police report, go to any central bank office and make a complain and collect a directive letter from the central bank branch. Central bank will send a copy of the letter to the bank of the culprits to provide kyc information of the customer to the police and efcc. YOU can go and relax for the law enforcement to do their job and get back to you when they have a lead.

Most of these inferior phones are health hazard to people. I am using Tecno and I know for sure that that phone is emitting high level of radiation.

If you put your finger around the camera side for couple of minutes, you would feel some sensation. If you put on the torch, the heat it generates could born your hand over time. I bought it last year (Tecno Spark).

The question is, if the safety of your people is paramount to you, why allowing substandard goods into your country. You can see how Europe treats substandard goods. It's not about being the joy of people.

First, Nigeria is not the only country that has tecno users. Does it mean those other countries hate their citizens?
Secondly, Nigeria does not have any certification test for mobile phones. So no phone in Nigeria, be it Samsung, iPhone, Nokia Tecno or Xiaomi, has undergone any form of certification. Does that make them substandard too?

The bottom line is that this post was not intended to put SON to work, else, it would have mentioned a lot of certified substandard products, mostly electronics and plumbing material, which have become our daily companion. It is a marketing strategy by Xiaomi against Tecno and Transion products which they consider a big challenge. It never mentioned any other Chinese brand that are not used in China.

If anyone wants to fight the influx of substandard products, the person should not do it in part. It might be difficult to take stock of all products in the country. But if you choose phones, be ready to take stock of all phones for certification test. That is if you have The equipment.
