When you say delay is not denial is it that she didn't receive any suitor back then? Or was she has strongheaded like most Nairaland girls who have created their dream man in their mind and "not settling for less"?
Phones / Re: My Personal Review: Itel A32F Is An Inexpensive Android Go Smartphone With The E by TheUbermensch: 6:00pm On Jun 12, 2018
At the end of the day everything is not about amount.

People who cough up 100-300k for a phone aren't fools. There's something called "Quality Assured".

People who bought the iPhone 5s in 2013 are still comfortably using it as there is no aspect of that phone that is obsolete today.

Lemme see you use this same Itel this time next 6 months without complaints.

the honourable was not for her writing- it was for her feminism and her service to humanity through her feminism - if I’m not mistaken!

You are gravely mistaken.

Look up more on what the award is about and why she earned it.
Celebrities / Re: Photo Of Bobrisky And Tonto Dikeh Kissing: Fans React by TheUbermensch: 5:49pm On Jun 12, 2018
First we won't agree that Bobrisky is a female, but we'd agree that him kissing Tonto Dike is an act of lesbianism? Are we stupid in this country or what?..

Btw if this Bobrisky person goes for gender reassignment I don't mind hiting it.

She actually got the award for..."sticking her nose in issues she has no bearing with." You probably didn't read what the award is given for.

She obviously has no bearing with feminism.

She's married so she can say anything but the catch is those who follow her words won't end up like her.

She should focus on other things to write on or advocate.

I'm a big fan of her btw, before you think I'm a pointless hater.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Trump Shows Kim Jong-un His Armored Beast by TheUbermensch: 5:37pm On Jun 12, 2018
Trump may be a boisterous talker, but at least he does what he says. He lives up to his words no matter how controversial or nearly impossible they may seem. Who'd have thought that a NKorea leader and the President of US would ever reach an agreement. 6-12 months ago it seemed impossible but here it is.

And so many things the guy has said that he has done. Although he is greatly misconstrued. I watched a video on Facebook today where he was explaining go the crowd exactly what was going on in that viral image that showed him folding his arms looking up to Merkel.

Trump says it and does it.

Unlike the President of a 3rd World country who rode into power on a carriage of promises and manifestos such as "reducing the pump Price of fuel and equating the country's currency with the US dollar" amongst others but 3years down the line hasn't achieved anything. Shame on him and the family of his supporters.

Nice ride btw.

Politics / Re: Abiola: President Buhari Apologizes To Nigerians Over June 12, 1993 Election by TheUbermensch: 5:35pm On Jun 12, 2018
GavelSlam:

If you say we've moved past it can you then explain lots of people from the south west applaud it?

Heck, even Dino dey fall from car accepted it was the right thing to do.

Some people would applaud it because Nigerians generally love mediocrity.

The country is facing serious insecurity issues. The economy is in shambles. Power failure is as worse as ever. Police harassing innocent Citizens. In fact animals in America enjoy more rights than Nigerians in their own country. But we feel it best to celebrate such an award.

I'm not saying it's a wrong move, but it's a dick one. There shouldn't be so much fanfaronade surrounding it. We should move onto more critical issues.

Abiola is long dead. May his soul rest in peace, but his memory shouldn't be used to score cheap political points.

GavelSlam:
Why does this trouble some people?

Because it's totally needless of a truth.

We have moved past beyond 1993. We are a Democratic country now. These things are quite unnecessary and is nothing more than lip/eye service as an attempt to hold the SWers at ransom for votes in 2019.

Even you can see thru this. I Wonder why the display of ignorance.

Guilty conscience is just worrying this man otherwise confer what you want to confer and move on. Is this the only issue to address in Nigeria today? That the June 12 election was annulled. So? Haven't we since moved past that? Aren't we in a Democracy now? If he so loved Abiola why did he serve in Abacha's despotic government?

Why is he acting like he's doing a feat not even God can do?

All this is just an attempt to rub it in the face of the SWers that he's giving their son what's due to him as an attempt to gain sympathetic votes.

Otherwise what will it cost to catch these boys? You think it's by Nord VPN? Smh. They just phish a page and think they are Hackers. Lmao.

The US doesn't just have their time yet. If not in less that a month. Just a month.

Politics / Re: Soyinka To Buhari: "You Can't Honour Abiola And Admire His Tormentor Abacha" by TheUbermensch: 4:29pm On Jun 12, 2018
It's obvious Buhari doesn't understand the words that comes out his mouth or the things he appends his signature to because the way they are always so self contradictory calls for concerns.

I'm pretty sure he never understood any of what his campaign promises meant, that's why he entered power to do the complete opposite.

Every young person who voted in Buhari shouldn't be allowed to procreate. They shouldn't pass on their stupidity to the next generation.

Nigga you need to come up with facts. You're not paid 30k per month to insult people. Your duty is to convince Nigerians that Buhari is working even though it's easier to pass a camel thru a needle's eye.

Yesterday you lots masturbated to the fact that your President repeated the cloth he wore on his inauguration, and I ask what hope or relief is that to the common man? Why do y'all celebrate mediocrity?

Unless you can tell us why your President still flies abroad for medical checkup even after promising not to do so. And before he became President was he flying abroad? If yes why did he lie he didn't have money to buy the presidential form? If no why can't he continue using the hospitals here? Lmao.

Choose whose words you would listen to. The choice is yours!

This is a very stupid comparison.

So because someone is a divorcee and allegedly engaged in DV his words shouldn't be taken serious?

Correct.

Anyone who willingly purchases death should be left to enjoy it in peace.
