Nigeria has been dragged in the mud for too long...and its all our fault. With our population, resources and diversity, we should be up there with the 'big' nations. But what do we have? We are perceived as pest and germs in Asia; Our girls are seen as tissue-that can be used and disposed off in Europe; our boys are viewed with suspicion in the Americas. To put salt to injury, we aren't even accorded due respect and regard at home. Down there in South Africa in recent years, our people are used as sitting ducks to vent frustration on by the people there, whenever they feel their economy heat. In comes the WORST that can happen to any people, SLAVERY!! That word is even proofing inadequate to describe what is happening to our young boys and girls in Libya. How will you describe a situation whereby our boys and girls aren't only used for farming without pay, but on many occasions, their organs are even forcefully harvested. And to think of the 'sacrifice' our government have used Nigeria taxpayer money to make for Africa?! I can't wish you guys happy new month here, while my brothers are there in Libya feeling bad they are still alive witnessing another month.. with no promise, no hope!!!

Women are being advised to sleep on their side in the last three months of pregnancy to help prevent stillbirth. A study of just over 1,000 women found the risk doubles if women go to sleep on their backs in the third trimester. The study looked into 291 pregnancies that ended in stillbirth and 735 women who had a live birth. Researchers say the position which women fall asleep in is most important - and they should not worry if they are on their back when they wake up. About one in 225 pregnancies in the UK ends in stillbirth and the study authors estimate that about 130 babies' lives a year could be saved if women went to sleep on their side. The MiNESS study, published in the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (BJOG) is the biggest of its kind, and confirms findings from smaller studies in New Zealand and Australia. Is waking up on your back a problem? Prof Alexander Heazell, clinical director at the Tommy's Stillbirth Research Centre at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester, who led the research, advises women in their third trimester to sleep on their side for any episode of sleep, including daytime naps. "What I don't want is for women to wake up flat on their back and think 'oh my goodness I've done something awful to my baby'. "The question that we asked was very specifically what position people went to sleep in and that's important as you spend longer in that position than you do in any other. "And also you can't do anything about the position that you wake up in but you can do something about the position you go to sleep." Tips for going to sleep on your side Put a pillow or pillows behind your back to encourage side-sleeping If you wake during the night, check your position and go back to sleep on your side Pay the same attention to sleep position during the day as you would during the night If you wake on your back during the night, don't worry, just roll on to your side The study didn't find a difference in risk between right or left side Source: Tommy's charity Researchers can't say for certain why the risk of stillbirth is increased - but there is a lot of data that suggests when a woman is lying on her back, the combined weight of the baby and womb puts pressure on blood vessels which can then restrict blood flow and oxygen to the baby.

my dear, I posted in this format, it didn't turn gold. pls get back to me, pls. <+fg=b0ffd700>You have been given a bunch of keys. You have only tried few of the keys and you have concluded the door won't open. What happens to the rest of the keys. Have you even tried turning the keys in both directions!? (You know some of this locks we have now, that require you turn the key as if you are locking the door to actually open it). My dear, exhaust your options. The key is there. The master isn't wicked. He wouldn't send you without key to the door. SUICIDE IS THE WORST OPTION!!! |
The Bible’s answer While it does not discuss this subject in detail, the Bible does not condemn the wearing of makeup, jewelry, or other forms of adornment. However, rather than focusing on physical appearance, the Bible promotes “the incorruptible adornment of the quiet and mild spirit.”— 1 Peter 3:3, 4 . Physical adornment not condemned Faithful women in the Bible adorned themselves. Rebekah, who married Abraham’s son Isaac, wore a gold nose ring, gold bracelets, and other expensive jewelry that she received as a gift from her future father-in-law. ( Genesis 24:22, 30, 53 ) Similarly, Esther accepted “beauty treatments” to prepare for her potential role as queen of the Persian Empire. ( Esther 2:7, 9, 12 ) These treatments apparently included the use of “cosmetics,” or “different kinds of makeup.”— New International Version; Easy-to-Read Version. Bible illustrations use jewelry in favorable comparisons. For instance, a person who offers good advice is compared to “an earring of gold . . . to the receptive ear.” ( Proverbs 25:12 ) Likewise, God himself compared his treatment of the nation of Israel to that of a husband who adorns his bride with bracelets, a necklace, and earrings. This adornment made the nation “extremely beautiful.”— Ezekiel 16:11-13 . Misconceptions about makeup and jewelry Misconception: At 1 Peter 3:3 , the Bible condemns “the braiding of hair and the wearing of gold ornaments.” Fact: The context shows that the Bible is highlighting the value of inner beauty in contrast to that of a fine appearance or adornment. ( 1 Peter 3:3-6 ) This contrast is also made elsewhere in the Bible.— 1 Samuel 16:7; Proverbs 11:22; 31:30; 1 Timothy 2:9, 10. Misconception: The use of eye paint, or “eye shadow,” by wicked Queen Jezebel proves that wearing makeup is wrong.— 2 Kings 9:30 , footnote. Fact: Jezebel, who practiced sorcery and murder, was judged for her wicked deeds, not for her appearance.— 2 Kings 9:7, 22, 36, 37. |

A man's police interrogation in Kansas, Missouri was ended prematurely after he began answering questions by farting, according to local reports. Sean Sykes Jnr is facing federal gun and drug charges after being pulled over twice by police in Kansas City. He was initially released in September, but taken back into custody this month. Explosive new details have now emerged of Mr Sykes's original interview in September that was brought to an abrupt end. According to the Kansas City Star newspaper, a detective's report said Mr Sykes "leaned to one side of his chair and released a loud fart" when asked for his address by police while being interviewed in September. "Mr Sykes continued to be flatulent and I ended the interview," the detective wrote after recovering. No charges were filed at the time after Mr Sykes denied knowledge of the items, but the 24-year-old was pulled over again this month. He was charged with stolen firearm offences and possession with intent to sell cocaine. The detective's report emerged during a court appearance on Monday.

Russia has signed a deal to build two nuclear power plants in Nigeria, as Africa's largest economy seeks to end its energy crisis. Russian state-owned company Rosatom will build one in the south, the other in the centre, sources at the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission told the BBC. The deal's exact worth is unknown, although some reports suggest it is likely in the region of $20bn (£15bn). It is one of a number that Rosatom has been eyeing on the continent. The company is also involved in discussions in Ghana and South Africa. An initial agreement with the latter to build a plant was ruled unlawful in a South African court earlier this year. The deal in Nigeria was reached after a long period of negotiation, with the two countries signing their first intergovernmental nuclear co-operation agreement in 2009. Nigeria hopes the plants, which will initially be operated by Rosatom before they are handed over, will help deal with the country's energy deficit. According to World Bank figures, more than 40% of the country was without mains electricity in 2014. Nigeria is one of Africa's largest oil producers, but much of its oil wealth has been squandered over the years. Corruption at all levels has left the country out of pocket, and producing a fraction of the energy its 180 million citizens need. Construction of the new power plants is expected to begin in the next two years.

the fever Gowon contacted that delayed his much anticipated national address on the aburi accord is suspicious. Ojukwu too must have run out of patience by going to the radio station to address the issue after Gowon's hesitation. one can imagine he could have polished his points on the aburi accord to suit his interpretation of things more. and I think Gowon didn't have the mind to abide by the accord especially when he returned to the capital, and this might be because if pressures that he met when he returned. this must explain his 'sickness' and reluctance to address the nation. my conclusion is that our leaders then didn't have enough honesty and patience and maybe coolheadedness and humility to avoid the war. |

Catholic, Pentecostal or what have you? the fact is that the vast majority of churches are temples to Satan. and be not deceived about the way any of them try to package themselves, because the Bible made us know, that the angels of darkness will appear like the angels of light that their are wolves in sheep clothing. it takes discernment and accurate knowledge of the Bible to be able to differentiate between the wheat and the weed. however, thanks be to God for one one way we can identify true worshipers, and its by there fruits. parts of these fruits is as follow. 1)any church that doesn't actively make 'all' their members participate in evangelism isn't approved. 2) any church that tries to explain God as one distant and confusing Trinity is blasphemous and obviously supported by demons. 3) any Church that doesn't make God look real by not showing and using his name doesn't obviously know God. |

Thousands of primary school teachers in Nigeria's northern Kaduna state are to be sacked after failing the exams they set for their six-year-old pupils. State governor Nasir El-Rufai said 21,780 teachers, two-thirds of the total, had failed to score 75% or higher on assessments given to pupils. He said 25,000 new teachers would be recruited to replace them. Mr El-Rufai made the comments at a meeting with World Bank representatives in the state capital, Kaduna. "The hiring of teachers in the past was politicised and we intend to change that by bringing in young and qualified primary school teachers to restore the dignity of education in the state," he was quoted as saying by Nigeria's Daily Trust newspaper. Mr El-Rufai said problems with pupil-teacher ratios across the state would also be addressed. He said some areas currently had one teacher for every nine pupils while in other areas the ratio was one to 100.

from the style of Kanu, the way he allows people do absurd stuffs to reference him, to the title he has been amassing, to his racist tendencies and the way he has cowardly disappeared leaving is followers despondent, one can see he is a selfish egoistic person. He is someone that is ready to ride on the misfortune of millions of Igbo to satisfy his ego and reach his selfish ambition. God forbid I be in a country run by this type of person. he will be a reckless authoritarian! I hope those that have let his noise drown their reasoning, will see the light and abandon this Man before he abandons them in a precarious situation. |
