Nothing like that friend. If the news is true, it is evident that that man in Aso Rock is not Buhari. It is a dubious game plan and everything is unfolding little by little. It's just a pity that the Nigerian leaders can deceive their people to this extent in a bid to hold onto power. As soon as the tenure is completed, his demise will be announced. They are just using the imposter to buy time.

And the leaders in other regions of the country are seeing this evil but decide to keep quiet because of selfish interest. The northern leaders are the ones creating these terrorists to loot money. First, they raise them and ask them to strike by kidnapping and killing innocent people. After that, they will pay them with the taxpayers' money to release the students. In the process of this, much money is looted, and finally, they will present the terrorists as repented people to loot more money in the name of rehabilitation.
The North is a curse and a menace to the entire regions in Nigeria.
It is high time we separated as a country and let everyone bears their father's name.

That was slavery and exploitation. In fact, the man deceived Jacob and took advantage of his needs.
If we want to practise the Bible, let's go for it in full and if it is the culture, let's face it. But we cannot combine the two if we must avoid confusion.

Christianity EtcBride Price And Dowry: Correct Or Wrong? Read the article below to find out. by Timijo(op):
In Africa and other continents like Asia, bride Price and dowry are the two major conditions for marriage. The parents of the bride collect money and other valuable things from the groom before they release their daughter to him. In a situation where these conditions are not met, some families will not approve or conduct the marriage. They prefer to keep their marriageable daughters than to give them out to men who cannot afford their demands. This practice has always made me wonder. Where does it come from? Definitely, it is not from the Bible because God did not collect anything from Adam before He gave him Eve as a wife. Some people hold the belief that it is a kind of compensation and appreciation to the parents of the lady. Yes, it is good to appreciate but when it now becomes a demand, it is no longer an appreciation but exploitation. And if we are to go by this belief, why must it be one-sided? What do the parents of the man get in return for raising their son to become a responsible man? Because they also deserve appreciation and compensation. Others have argued that what the man gets in return is the woman. Excuse me! This is not fair to the man and the woman. Why should the woman be used as an exchange for money and material things in the name of marriage? She is not a slave. In my research, a group of teenagers from the Asian continent told me that men buy wives when they are ready to get married. And I asked them how. They said that the men pay for pride price. You can see the wrong belief associated with the bride price.

Look! In marriage, the lady is not doing a favour to the man for accepting to marry him and likewise the man. They are both favouring each other. The man is marrying the woman and the woman is marrying the man. No one should feel superior while the other is feeling inferior. So, I wonder why the man and his parents pay the bride price and dowry without getting anything in return than the woman. These two people are marring themselves, it is an agreement between them. If there is no agreement, there will be no marriage. So, why is the man mandated to meet the aforementioned conditions?

Let us consider what the Bible says about the bride price and dowry.

1. Bride price is not a condition for marriage but only as a penalty for rape.

Exodus 22:16-17: "If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife. If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride-price for virgins."

Deuteronomy 22:28-29: "If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels[a] of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives."

You can still pay the bride price and still be denied the woman to be your wife by her father.
At the same time, if the man has never slept with the woman, there should be no need to pay money on her behalf.

2. There was never ever a place in the Bible where God commanded the bride's parent to present a price. It is the groom's responsibility to bring whatever for the lady he wants to marry.

For example, the marriage between Isaac and Rebekah. There was no monetary exchange or penalty between the two families. Affordable gifts were given to Rebekkah's family by Abraham (but not demanded by Rebekkah's family). Read Genesis 24:52-54.

3. Bride price, according to the Bible, is all about virgins.

Genesis 24:15-16: "Before he had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Milkah, who was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor. The woman was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had ever slept with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again."

4. Payment of monetary bride price is a tradition and not a direct commandment from God.

In some countries like India, a woman actually pays a dowry for the groom and not the other way round.

5. Presenting list or asking for monetary bride price is a man-made rule. Therefore, it becomes a sin because it's better to obey GOD rather than men.
Acts 5:29: "Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than human beings!"

@Timijo , I misinterpreted your question at first due to the fact that I rushed it. @light099 has pointed out my errors and I have corrected my workings. I present the solution to your question below.

[1] We shall presume that each swimmer swam with a uniform velocity. Let's call the uniform velocities of first, second and third swimmer V1 , V2 , & V3 respectively. From the question, it is obvious that

[2] Let t be time reading of the wrist watch of a neutral observer which started counting from 0 s when the first swimmer started his race. Let T1 , T2 , & T3 respectively represent the time readings of the watches of first, second, and third swimmer which all started reading from 0 s when their respective owners started swimming.

[3] We have from [2] and the question the following equations:

[4] Let tc represent the time reading on the neutral observer's watch when all swimmers met at CC. From the question, you have

[5] Let t32 represent the time reading on the neutral observer's watch when the third swimmer, on his return, met the second swimmer. Also, let t31 represent the time reading on the neutral observer's watch when the third swimmer, on his return, met the first swimmer. From the question, it follows that

[6] In [5] when you divide (1) by (2), you obtain this equation

[7] Using the equation in [6] on those in [5], you can obtain the following with appropriate substitution

[8] Solving the equations in [7] and [4] simultaneously (you will have to do this on your own), we discover the following

NB: when you solve simultaneously and get t31 = 4 tc , you will, after the appropriate substitution, get the following quadratic equation 12tc2 – 245tc + 100 = 0.
Well done and thank you.

Hello guys,
Please I need someone to help me solve this. I am still battling with it.

Three swimmers must swim from AA to BB and back. First, the first starts, after 5 seconds - the second, after another 5 seconds - the third. Some point CC, located between points AA and BB, all swimmers passed at the same time (until that time, none of them had visited BB). The third swimmer, having reached BB and turning back, meets the second one 9 m from and the first one - 15 m from BB. Find the speed of the third swimmer if the ABAB distance is 55 m.

A very lovely Thursday to you all.

I was recently given a 6 months contract by SFH to work as a finance assistant of a project with a salary of N125,000 per month (subject to 5% withholding tax) and I currently work as an accountant for a private school which salary is N70,000 per month.

Is it advisable that I leave my current work of N70,000 per month and go for the contract offer with SFH or I should just reject the contract offer and continue with my present place of work?

Plz anyone?
Permit me to ask you these few questions.
1. Are you married?
2. Are you putting food on anyone's table with your current salary or feeding only your mouth?
3. Is your spouse working?
If the answers to my questions is yes, you need to plan well before you resign from your current job of 70k. Yes, I will advise you to go for the 125k job not because of the money alone but the professional goodies that come along side. These include CPD, gaining new experience, meeting new people and connecting with them, likely promotion and salary increment thereafter.
Again, if the answers to my questions is NO, I will still advise you to resign and grab the offer with both hands. While working in the new environment, establish a good relationship with people there and be diligent in your service and in everything you do. Don't eat with your ten fingers, remember that money has wings.

No, it's has nothing to do with frustration but selfishness. Most men always think they have the natural right to sleep with many women as they like while their wives are banned from doing so. I usually pity the women whose husbands are promiscuous. A certain religion permits men to marry four wives but expects the women to stay with one man. This same one man can also have concubines after marrying four wives. Is this religious law not unfair to women? I am not in support of adultery but what is good for the goose is good for the gander. I wish the same law could permit women to marry four husbands and let's see how men will feel.

Exactly my point. I'm a man and I don't support cheating. The problem is that most men cheat on their wives but they don't want them to cheat. If you don't want your partner to cheat, respect the marital oath. But you can't be having a secret affair and expect your spouse to stay faithful, that is another cheating on it own.

When husbands go into extramarital affairs, they see it as right bestowed upon them by nature. But when their wives commit the same atrocity, they call them different unprintable names while they present themselves as innocents.
