The Godfather Muse.
Black and white tux Well fitted, Tilted fedora hat Resting on scanty hair, Puffing, Smoking, Coughing, Pointing, Disloyalty sways No mercy.
Flammable Vodka Caresses opaque copita glass, Burnt parejos Buried in a golden ash tray, Burning, Sipping, Slurping, Exhaling, Belching, The price for snitching my pay Is death by dismemberment.
Stainless blade Nicely sharpened, Titanium glock Death's teeth and mouth gladden, Shooting, Cutting, Squirting, Fountain of blood gushing, When crossing that path, Death is never enough!
Domestic beasts Scampering body parts on the floor, Greed is like Oliver - Hungering for more, Barking, Fighting, Laughing, Godfather doesn't forget He whose body he gored.
Gunshots echoed Over hungry beasts, Fear feeds Through his fealty feast, Panting, Sitting, Smiting, One more guest, Silence - joined The dinner at least.
Money piled in black boxes An exchange for dead body parts Counting, Stashing, Packing, He who must do crime Must first sell his heart. 6 Likes 1 Share |

yuzjet: How abt we make it an ultimate search grand finale and see who will get the treasure first? As you type, I am currently heading to the true spot for the treasure. Don't worry, I won't be greedy, you'll get a fair share when I return. Just wish me luck. |

JigsawKillah: Fenn's poem
As I have gone alone in there And with my treasures bold, I can keep my secret where, And hint of riches new and old. (The journey to hide his treasure)
Begin it where warm waters halt (A lake near a rock or mountain, I guess) And take it in the canyon down, Not far, but too far to walk. Put in below the home of Brown. (Underneath the lake surrounding a mountain... Note: there is a place called Brown mountain near a lake in USA)
From there it's no place for the meek, (It is a tough place) The end is ever drawing nigh; (Cuz the river is quite rocky) There'll be no paddle up your creek, (You gats get liver to paddle it.....) Just heavy loads and water high. (Cus it is a Stand Up Paddle {SUP}) that leads to a waterfall)
If you've been wise and found the blaze, (Immediately you find the waterfall,....) Look quickly down, your quest to cease, (Look down... i.e. at the edge might kill you) But tarry scant with marvel gaze, (But if you wait at the edge you'll see it) Just take the chest and go in peace. (Take it and go)
So why is it that I must go And leave my trove for all to seek? The answer I already know, I've done it tired, and now I'm weak.
So hear me all and listen good, Your effort will be worth the cold. If you are brave and in the wood I give you title to the gold I think I'm gonna take the next flight to America.... I think I know where the treasure is...... Who's coming with me? your job is to take photograph of me lifting the treasure. Hhehehehheh 2 Likes |

DrDre1: Hmm...be careful what u wish for. Are u sure u want to dive in deep? Ok, try Black Sails, Vikings and Reign. The three mix horse riding, sword fights, twists and turns well. Vikings is quite gory if u don't mind though but it's a very nice production. Don't try the 3 at the same time or esle u may be pinned down more than u wished for. I won't be responsible if ur boss starts calling u to find out where u are late on monday morning I have seen Vikings and I'm patiently waiting for the next season to be released later in the year.
However, Black Sails and Reign would keep me company over the weekend as I have ordered them from Dan Ibro's shop. I promise not to watch them all at the same time cuz I love my job..... and mondays, God knows I hate that day more than Garfield. |

Basking under a huge "anthill of the savanna" Wondering why "Jame hardly chase me" no more, In teed up field flanked with black dusty bandanna Where we catch tiger-grasshoppers hopping the grassy floor.
He toed "the new man" path, so he alleged to his ploy, Heaving in contrite friendliness that I 'kerosined' His soul; how can it be? "The beatification of area boy" I know have sinned more than the devil has sinned.
They said he's gone in "flying colours" in the souring sky But I know him as a chameleon-butterfly wafting around "purples hibiscus"... His absence has made me walk around like a black rainbow under squinting eyes With my name on their dried lips as a discussion to discuss...
It’s getting late, as the sky has bitten off "half of the yellow sun". James was my pal of habitual temperament A fungi fun-guy with adventurous bag of fun. Now it tickles me with tinges of attention for our "estrangement".
I cried till my tears washed off his blemished memory In me; then dust myself to the “famished road” Having accepted his parting as the "tragedy of victory" That he desired, then hopped home like a disabled toad. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hi Boss,
Your poem is awesome.
Your poem is almost similar to the poetry form of a Kyrielle Your lines are in rhyming couplets or quatrains and has a refrain.
Your personification in line 3, stanza one is mind-blowing.
Note: The refrain of line 2 in your last stanza is what made me use the word "almost".
All in all, bro, you did a very good job.

betty88: In the valley between Naked soul met the sing song As the mountain cross seven artezuma's temples In search of Montezuma' s prize possession
In the valley between, Where Thor's hammar clamps the sacred temple of blood to thunder Only to comprehend such great love
In the sacred temple That strong bond unite So different and so unlike rivers Rivers of Osun and Oyo To flow down stream yonder Entwine by the prietess call love In the valley between. Hmmm.... Nice poem madam but wait ...
Montezuma? Abeg explain that word to me because the Montezuma I know is a chocolate bar in UK, an act in a cartoon that wears funny headgear cap and a place in Colorado.
