HELP! I'm heartbroken. My nokia E7 is misbehaving. The charging
port recently got faulty and I took it to the phone clinic...after fixing
the charging port I discovered that most of my apps doesn't open
anymore, even my contacts, mails and messages have all refused
to open, Same with the internet connectivity which doesn't connect,
it keeps prompting the "connection failed" msg on the screen.
As I am typing this complaints, i feel crying as the phone is as good
as useless each time I stare at it.
Can anyone help me with a solution please? I don't wanna loose this
phone (not yet).

ceaser: As per the applications that refused to launch, have you tried restoring the phone to factory settings and if you have without success, have you tried re-installing the whole firmware nokia E7 using phoenix (sort of flashing)?

Just did the factory reset thing and surprisingly, the screen no longer hangs but I still can't access my apps, internet Connectivity, mails, contact and photos as the problem still persists.
And how do I re-install the firmware for nokia E7?
Please peeps I need help for my phone!!!

Nokia's office is located at Wuse 2 near Otis carpet but if u wanna buy a nokia phone, they've got a shop at Banex plaza (can't remember the number of the suite).
And as for Nokia E7 it cost N71k (only).
Let me give u a tip the phone is awesome but the camera of 8mp aint that imperessive.

In as much as i love the phone more than my new girlfriend, i think i'd let it go like a 'cheap LovePeddler', the reason is because the charging port recently became a pain in the butt, despite desperate moves to get it working by visiting nokia care shop at Wuse 2, Abuja, but the price of 15k for charges to repair the sexy chick port has turned me off just cuz my warranty has expired. once i get it repaired I'm selling it asap and will cue up for the Samsung Galaxy S3 or maybe the HTC sensation.

My Nokia E7 has been having issues with its charging port lately, i recently took it to nokia customer care and i was told it would cost me 15k to fix hence i've got no warranty. I wanna ask, can a HDMI cable act as a charger and charge my phone for me?

My Nokia E7 charging port has stopped functioning, i can't seem to charge it anymore. It only shows a blinking charging light for some minutes after which it stops working. I recently took it to the Nokia Care store at Wuse 2, near Otis Carpet and i was told i've got no warranty despite not using the phone for up to a year, I was also told that to repair the charging port will cost me N15, 000!
My question is this, do Nokia phones cost this much to fix?
