The school system just makes them remain kids for much longer. It's actually not just females, it's everyone. For a person to mature, he has to be given life challenges and responsibilities. The modern school system keeps kids in a bubble without an understanding of such responsibilities. In the olden days, kids learnt very early on where their food and drink came from, and what real life was all about. Nowadays, kids probably think food grows on ShopRite shelves and the ATM cards just renew whatever money you spend automatically.
