According to the website it takes 8weeks from the day your transcript gets to them. But most times you get your report in less than 4 weeks.
Thank you. Basically most of us go for WES for lack of info on other options.

Your transcripts can be sent either by mail or e-mail. If by e-mail it must be sent through the school's official email address not your personal/a lecturer's email address because it is going to be rejected. If you are sending two or more certificates then each certificate is billed separately $200 each making $400. Courier charges is $70 since there is no room for soft copy. Flee away from standard mail.
Please how long did the evaluation take?

what about transcript
What the person who told you that this thread is for those who have made up their minds already said.

As for transcript, I'm not a big typer or a detailed person. No be me go draw up your detailed budget. Draw up your budget make it as detailed as possible. Me my own transcript cost less than 2k so wasn't a real expense for me.

Wat about after being rejected after spending the first 150k then u are not given the ppr

Pls what's pof
Ogbeni please go and do your research. I was bored yesterday but will be very busy today.

Modified.

On page zero or somewhere similar, there's already a link to estimated costs. I found it lying around by myself unfortunately no energy to help you get the link.

First thing I did when relocation entered my eye was to evaluate costs and draw up budget. If you're someone who's practical like me i think this approach will also work for you.

Whatever the correct name is. The 1050 or so paid per adult.

Abeg this thing is too stressful and overall very costly. 3 million naira can go down on this stuff and verifications. About 1 million naira Ticket fee is not there o.

Are we beetles? Why can't Canada just forget about all the stories and money spending verifications and just issue visa. Abeg I done tire.
Please some one should suggest me a good country with mechanical jobs or any jobs.
Trecking by road could be the answer to Canada.
Are you family of 7? Or are you mistaking this for Australia immigration?

Before ita, all you need is 150k for eca and ielts.

After ita, medicals, courrier. Visa fée and air ticket are the real expenditures and you don't spend on those till you get ita and ppr respectively.

POF is for your own pocket and spending.

I am just about starting the process and reading the many testimonies is motivating to say the least.
I visited the passport office in Gwagwalada yesterday and I hope I get my passport by Monday.
Preparing seriously to at least ace 8 in both listening and speaking tests of the IELTS.
Thankfully, the NASU strike has just been called off, this means I can process my licenses as a registered pharmacist in Nigeria, prepare to ace my IELTS and have my transcripts transmitted simultaneously.

I'll stick around this thread more often henceforth, and don't hesitate to provide any information that could be of help like you guys have always done.

Cheers
Welcome. Don't forget the motto for success in this project: read, read and read

huh Please, I am at a crossroad now. I need advise please: between IDP MOD (Ogudu GRA, Lagos) and BC IELTS which is advisable to take? I have gone through the threads from 300 down and I have been following the gist, sincerely I am scared of BC already because of the writing scores but majority were acing IDP's. Secondly, I dont know if IDP Ogudu GRA uses headphones for Listening test and if one can choose when she wants her Speaking test. Finally, the price difference is another factor I am considering, IDP is 68,000 while BC is 75,000. Please I need sincere advise and not insults please. Lastly, does IDP conduct their test on weekends? I went online and decided to book for one but all the available spaces have been booked except for some few Saturdays in May. HAVE READ THROUGH THE PAGES so I need inputs.
1. I don't think there's any guarantee that IDP gives better scores

2. I think it has been confirmed here that IDP now uses headphones.

3. Speaking test date is flexible with IDP but no choice with BC. Though IDP does not conduct speaking test on weekends.

4. Ielts is 75k beginning May. Probable reason IDP is looking cheaper is that they have April date available.

5. The dates and days you see on their website are the days and dates they conduct test. If you see weekend there they do weekend. If you don't, they don't.

6. I don't believe you've actually READ through the pages because all the info i just listed, I got from this same thread. But isalrite all the same smiley

Upload pictures of you people in bed together, brushing your mouths in the morning, catching a late night movie on the sofa with popcorn etc.

'
Just kidding jare, our tradition frowns on man and woman living together before marriage jare, its not 'normal' like with oyinbos, if you people just started living together after marriage, you will not have same address on bank statement, bills etc. Pictures of wedding, intro, etc will do. Include some pictures that has your family members too. You may may include a 'description' of what each picture (and the people in it) is about.
I've not been requested any such documents but just made me realise personally that after almost 3 years of marriage oga and I have no documentation that we live together. Anyway make i no disturb myself, we'll rectify the situation in Canny land.

The wordings of the questions are a bit strange but both include something like if you have ever been refused visa to any country, so the answer should be yes and you can provide the same explanation for both.

I don't really know about changing NOC after ITA but from the thread I've read its possible so long as the new NOC is also A,B or 0
@eklektoss empasis on the above your NOC has to be skill level A B or 0

welcome. Yes, I would advice you get a stroller and a bunting bag which looks like the photo below. Also, a snowsuit for your baby is recommended. You can also get a car seat cover as shown in the photo since she can't sit upright in a stroller just yet but personally, I prefer the bunting bag because it could fit in both a car seat and stroller.
The bunting bag and snow suit are so cute! They make me want to make babies!

I greet the house. I have been following up on the comments and activities and Im very interested in buying some Tbills. I went to my bank (Gtbank) and met with my account officer where i told her i need to subscribe for the 91 days Tbills for N5 million. I was asked to write her an instruction so that my request can be processed. Up till this moment it has not been processed, I called her and she said it will be available on the 9th. After proper research here i found out that you can actually buy tbills from the secondary market any day right? So its either she doesnt know what she is doing/what to do, or purposely delaying and wanting me to forget about it. As it is, im ready to move my funds to any bank where i can buy tbills effortlessly. Please house if you can advice on the preferred bank. I run accounts with Gtbank (main account), Fidelity and Union bank ( *wink* ) as well as Firstbank which is now dormant. I called Fidelity today and they said they can offer me 11% for 91 days.
Are you sure you've actually been following this thread? Because it has been repeated more than a hundred times : do not buy tbills through your account officer. Please do a search so you can see various advice on this that elders have given.

Should I go ahead with the PhD studies or I should ignore the admission. I know life in Canada will be job first, two or more years later school matter could follow and Only God knows. Please I need your candid advice
For info, Phds are basically free abroad (even with Nigerian passport) because the society is benefiting from your research. Just that admission is highly competitive.

Secondly, your PhD coursework in Nigeria is maximum one year. Every other thing is research you don't need do much physical presence. You can be communicating with you advisor electronically.

I don't have energy to type please draw conclusions based on the facts I've stated above in combination with advice others have given you.

pls bosses in d haus,
wat are the risks associated with treasury bills..??
Sovereign risk. If the federal government of Nigeria fails or declares bankruptcy, you will lose your investment.

If there is a coup, a junta government can declare by decree that all domestic debts including treasury bills are cancelled.

Note that all forms of investment are subject to Sovereign risk plus other risks, but t-bills is subject only to Sovereign risk.

@ bolded, most likely didn't read the EE/FSW thread enough hence the "customized" interpretation of the passport request s/he received and goes ahead to come out of ghostmode to give wrong advice to someone else who asked a pertinent question and decides to be rude to others who bother to respond. Yes, you are right, the number of posts don't matter but the content of posts surely do.
And now I'm getting attention from the seniors... #runsaway #backtoghostmode cheesy cheesy cheesy

someone that has a total of 20 posts on his/her profile. 16 from the Australian thread and 4 on this thread all of which were posted on this page and the last. S/he does not deserve the attention being sought.
I don't think the number of posts matters. He had been silent all this while but has obviously benefited and gotten to ppr stage.

Like has been said, let's see how it all plays out. It's actually a very interesting scenerio.

i had similar experiencd with mutual benefit. i got less than what i contributed. They are just scammers. My account officer is a fraudster and d company is protecting him.
it's a matter of reading the fine print before you go in, and picking your plan properly. Because if you pick an insurance plan you'll be paying insurance premiums yet the investment returns are quite low. That's why if you terminate short term a loss is certain.

I did mutual benefit for one year and the returns were decent compared to regular savings account. Was a plan of just 10k per month and had no issues liquidating after the one year.
