Page zero will take months to finish? Lol

3. The Map section is my achilles heel. Any help with that will be appreciated.

Thank you
Download Cambridge 1-12 and practice as many maps as possible.

Now, the trick is this : when you miss one map question, move on to the next one. THE QUESTIONS ARE NOT LINKED.

I always thought the questions are linked so I'd give up once I missed one question. However, the speaker always goes back to the anchor/first landmark at the beginning of each question.

Looking forward to your ecstatic results.

Congrats to all those who aced their ielts. Didn't ace it again at my 3rd attempt, I had 8.5 in LS while I had 6.5 in R and 7 in W.

So I am thinking for registering for the next one on the 21st and practise more reading this time around. Do you guys think it's too early?
I don't think 21st will be too early since its only one aspect you need to focus on. You seriously aced your LSW. I'm even suspecting you made a secondary error in R, like maybe writing words when you were supposed to write numbers or alphabets.

All the best.

I initiated my ECA through WES last year December, process of which is yet to complete due to the NASU strike. Although, I am hoping to have my transcript sent to WES by next week.
While completing the WES online process, I selected the ECA should be done only for my MBA but now I am considering adding my BSc also. Is this still possible without having to pay new fees to WES? Someone should kindly advise on most effective and efficient way to get this done. Thank you.
Can you do a search of this thread? I believe people have been in similar situations before.

You could also send your question to WES themselves or ask on Twitter. You'll get a definite response in less than 24hrs.

By the way it may be worth it evaluating your bsc even though it doesn't increase your points. You never know if the evaluation will come in handy in future.

Good day all,

I had Listening 7
Reading 6.5
writing 6.0
speaking 6.5
Really sorry about your result. Please don't let BC discourage or demoralise you. People with worse results have gone ahead to get band 8 and shared their PPR testimony on this thread.

Maybe you should consider getting a study partner or a reliable tutor? In case there are any weak points you have that you're not identifying. It's usually easy for someone else to correct us than for us to correct ourselves.

Dust yourself and get up. You can do it!

Well, in my defence they never made it compulsory to use the mailing address of one's country of residence plus I get to save more using the foreign one so I gave it a shot. Thanks for the idea of the letter even though it came in form of a jab but I think I might pass on this one and look forward to PPR.
You have nothing to lose by going on WES website, clicking 'contact us' and writing a detailed request for refund, as suggested by elfman. It will take you less than 6 minutes and you stand a chance of gaining at least 7k. My opinion sha.

Thank you and FYI, my wife is educated and interested in relocating. It would have been nice if you had answered the simple question rather than bothering yourself with the reason am creating a profile for her which I believe should be none of your business.

Hakuna Matata
No vex, it was just an (aproko) question. Of course she is educated or she wouldn't be the PA.

I was wondering, because I'm thinking your PR journey in total is likely to be easier if PA is principal player... Recall you said 'I am', not 'we are' or 'my wife is'.

Apologies and thanks in arrears for the forgiveness you already granted.

At the end of d day, its good to discuss about topics like this aslong as people reading dont have a believe that racism would hold them back. That was one of d things d original poster pointed out. Texas is in the deep south, percieved as a racist state by a lot of Americans, yet Nigerians succeed in this state and Atlanta than most other states in the US.
Like I said, I like your positive attitude and agree with your views. My comment was solely on the French national team. Keep your posts coming, I enjoy them.

Hi Mates, am creating an EE profile for my wife and need a clarification. Her PP is in her maiden name, will I use her maiden surname to apply or mine based on this question "Tell us your name(s) exactly as shown in your passport, travel document or national identity document."
PS: She's done a name change and has all relevant documents.

Thanks

Hakuna Matata
Why are you creating a profile for your wife? She's not literate or uninterested in relocating? Just wondering sha.

Please use the name on her passport. As instructed by the instructions you are being instructed by.

Oh well. To each his own.

My mention of the french team implies that at least they were tolerant enough to include blacks and other nationalities into their national teams compared to other European Countries. Also, Montreal is tolerant enough to have a diverse and highly multicultural population.

At the end of the day, if you search for racism or percieve people as being racist, you would surely find it.

Have I encountered racists in Alberta? Yes
Have I encountered racists in Saskatchewan? Yes.

Was the word nigga used in one of the encounters? Yes
Have I heard conplaints about my accent? Yes
Hence, the english speaking part of Canada is not an exception to some of the issues raised about Quebec.

A quick search on google would also bring up racists encounters all accross Canada.

Alberta and Sask also challenges ottawa on a lot issues. That is just a Canadian thing. If Quebec acknowledges systematic racism, that is good. Atleast they are admitting the presence of such. Other provinces or countries would not even admit the existense of systematic racism or entertain a discussion on such.
I like your positive attitude, but must say you've used quite a poor example. The French national team is actually something which has been used to criticise France. Immigrants are not welcome in real life, but in soccer where such diversity benefits France, they ignore how important the 'French culture' is.

Generally while European colonialists are inherently evil, with the Belgians and Portuguese particularly devilish in the past, and the French still actively and openly working against Africa's progress. At least the British are covert in their intentions.

But what do I know? Because if we continue such theorising, we might realise that skilled migration is just away of keeping developing countries down... By intently skimming off their best talents.

Don't let the money cloud your reasoning. Even if you start lower, you will eventually get there as long as you are hardworking and ready to do what it takes. My husband earns close to what you do and I earned a decent sum but we've left everything because it's not all about money. Other people might not understand but you know what you want out of life. Again, money is not everything.

You will have exactly one year from the day you do your medicals, meaning if your whole process from AOR to PPR takes 4months(no lag between submission and medicals), you will have 8 months to pack your bag and leave the country, but I will say start saving already cos of your POF,application and RPRF fee...I hope I have been able to make sense. Your family size will determine your POF, depending on your zeal for this, are you sure you want to start a long term business at this point

According to this table, clb 5 for tef is equal to delf B1. Alliance Français prepares students for B1 exam and the standard number of learning hours required is 450... Less than six months if one puts in 20 hours a week.

Just trying to make things less abstract for anyone considering boosting crs with tef.

Thanks for this...but to the best of my knowledge they don't have a branch in my location...I'm in Benin City
Then my next best advice is take a vacation and go for intensive immersion classes at French village badagry or even for a course in Cotonou.

Otherwise private tutor things... Maybe a lecturer at UNIBEN or a very good final year student. They should teach you using tef curriculum.

sincerely though, can you imagine taking ielts based on if you start to learn English now? And even the French say English is easier than their language... But I won't be a naysayer, nothing in life is actually impossible.

Alliance Français is your best bet and they don't have online courses. Not sure you can learn French up to B2 (tef level) without physical contact.

Good evening to all and to the great people helping out here.

Please I have a situation. On August 28 2017 we submitted our eAPR (family of 3, PNP Ontario-nominated). Letter from bank for POF was CAD20K. I also added my pension fund statement as supporting document with the 25% being over CAD5k (just the statement no letter from the pension managers). Also, I did not declare this as part of my POF but mentioned it in my LOE as a supporting document.

On the 22nd of January 2018, I sent a CSE for the addition of our new baby. First we were asked to provide the below which we did.
20k plus 5k is 25k. POF for family of four is less than 24k. I believe you're already okay.

exkise ma, I want to go to Canada, can I get PDF summary of the process. Quick queshon, do I need passport? I have read the whole thread o but no answer. God bless you for the help
Actually you need a passport except you're from Imo State (Okorocha successfully negotiated a laisser-passer with Trudeau in exchange for erecting the latter's statue in Owerri). The only doc Imo indigenes need is their certificate of Local Gov't of Origin.

PM me if you need help obtaining your original certificate (service is PAID). I would advise you to be very careful, if the certificate is not original you won't be allowed to land in Canada (they will allow you to board from naija but the machine that scans for fake is in Canada so you will be turned back).

For your first question, I know where to source a summary of Page 0 of this thread. PM me for more info (service is PAID).

It shall end in praise for us all.

Well, you need to use the NOC that matches your actual job description to a very good extent. I gave you the code that matched the JD in the link you posted. I am assuming that it is not your exact JD, however it is important that you don't place emphasis on your job title but on the actual duties you perform. So even if in reality you are not a diplomat in the real sense of the word, the job description in that link matches the code I gave you to a very great extent.
As the expert concerned I no argue with you na smiley thanks for sharing your expertise.

My dear, your NOC for the JD in that link you posted is 4168. Look at it very well. I am of the opinion that anyone with such a JD will undergo stricter security screening which may or may not delay your processing. I am sure you are already aware of this.

Lead statement: 4168 - Program officers unique to government
Program officers in this unit group are primarily concerned with the administration and operation of government institutions, such as Parliament, and activities unique to the operations of government, such as international relations, federal-provincial affairs, elections and tribunals.
Thank you.

This is where I actually began, before making a detour because I'm not a diplomat, just a local support staff without any security clearance. I did not even think of the increased processing issue.

it is well o.

Thanks again.
