The person trying to buy on ebay not all Nigerian cards work for international transactions, then they all have different limits. Why not call the phone number on your card and ask your bank customer care of you can do transaction on ebay/paypal and what their rate is.
Rate is very important, access bank is 367, gtbank is 368 but I think they've blocked paypal shop you can't use gtb card in ebay. Fcmb always works but their rate is usually too high I think it's up to 380. Wema bank is around 370, I hear ECObank is 360. |

zaynie: Muna didn't eat pepper till like 2 months ago at 27 months. In fact when we were learning colors she yelled out color pepper from seeing a red flash card. I do plain tomato chicken stew. Portioned in small plates for her only and kept in the freezer. Gradually I started adding one rodo every week.
Other food options Potatoes. Spaghetti Cooked oats Pancakes Yam Beans
You can also add butter to these meals.
How did I finally make Muna eat pepper? The gradual addition didn't work. Once the rodo got a bit much, she stopped taking the stew so I went gangster on her when she clocked 2, I chook peppered stew in her mouth randomly and refused to give her water. Till she learnt to just cope with it and now we're fine. I guess I'm lucky then. I started adding yazi (haussa pepper) to his purees at six months. Cos I wasn't using salt or maggi and so didn't want the food too tasteless. Boy can eat anything now, has higher pepper tolerance than his father. |

goodfortun: Hello mommas. Hope the weekend is coming along great. Fellow BBNaija watchers how disappointing was that party??!lols
Baby clocked 5months this February and we started cereal yesterday. Twas a battle; the boy barely took 50ml. I gave nutriben in the morning and nutribon in the evening in place of his usual formula but he wasn't having any of it. What can I do to make it easier for him to eat?? He's been formula fed from day 1 alongside breastmilk. I also want to introduce ogi baba by weekend. I got clearance from the paediatrician.
Would appreciate tips on making the transition to cereal. Thanks! Have a great Sunday! Make it extremely light to start with. Gerber rice was good transitioning for us because it's quite light. |

Lilliesbud12: Good afternoon mama's... please I have a question.
Is it compulsory you use a white coloured gown for christening/naming a baby girl? what if it's a mixture of white & any other colour? cc: all mama's, TIA. If you're a Catholic for baptism your church MAY require the baby to wear white. |

But I don't like it because it can be annoying /embarrassing once the child is older but has formed habit of playing with your breasts. Even after weaning, I know a girl who was still always looking for her mom's breast in church to play with. If you know you won't like it in future then don't let her form the habit now. |

holutosin: Good morning ma, please did the saline drop worked for your baby then or the blocked nose went on its own? Saline drop is just expensive shiii jor. Stuffiness will go on its own. Even for catarrh/ blocked nose, you don't need saline drops. About 30 minutes before bathtime rub ori on nose, chest and back, combined with hot water during bath the catarrh will become soft then you can suck it out. |

Solmax: OMG I just followed the link and read the whole article. It is surprising and sad that most of the stock fish we eat today is still being Imported!!! Dried fish we can produce locally No darling. It cannot be produced locally. The right specie of fish is dried outside in cold weather. Even in Norway only a few cities up north produce stockfish. In Sweden they dry mechanically, but it doesn't taste as nice and it's spoils faster. |

freeman67: Pple talk about banks mostly because; 1)It is easier to invest in banks because almost everyone here already have a bank account or a requirement to own 1 before attempting to invest. 2)Most people around here have a branch of their preferred bank in @least their state capital. Its not that common with investment houses.. People have more access to investment houses mostly in Lagos, Abuja and Port harcourt. 3) At maturity it is easier to use the money straight from your account as it drops without going through the hassles of moving the money from the investment house to your bank. 4) Some banks have even cheaper custody fee...eg FBN has a Custody fee of 0.1%and a transaction fee of N100 for every transaction. 5)Lot of people coming here for the first do not know much about investment houses. Some even get to know them here. These are the few reasons I see why it seem people here prefer banks to investment houses.
I'm not in anyway condemning investment houses as people uses have areas they benefit more than using a bank. Thanks |

shogbenga: Hi everyone, I observed that everybody on this forum purchases Tb from banks and no one has recommended the purchase of Tb from financial /discount houses like Afrinvest for instance. Is there any reason for this. Thanks This is a good question because with Afrinvest you don't need to go to the bank, they actually send you the rates by email. Today they even had 13.10% for 170 days. I'm interested in investing through them since I'm a 9-5er. Their only charge is a 0,35% custody fee. Is this fair compared to what banks charge? Thanks. @investnow2017 @Tony56 @all the inhouse experts abeg no jump me pass. |

olujames: I work for OnlineNaira and it is sad to see people make wrong statements. Here are the issues that set OnlineNaira appart from the competition:
1. Our fees are clearly stated on a dedicated page for fees - https://www.onlinenaira.com/fees.htm. 2. We have a chat app manned by 3 members of staff at any one time. 3. OnlineNaira does not compete with other providers on price and we are proud ot it. 4. We may be more expensive in the market, but we are fast, we have product availability and we have the best customer service offering. 5. We display our fees upfront and at the point of placing the order so there are no hidden fees. 6. At OnlineNaira, we accept bitcoins and other eCurrencies back if you change your mind.
OnlineNaira has been around since 2011. We are not perfect, but still growing. If you are so unhappy about our fees, feel free to talk to us and we'll be glad to give your money back if that's what you want.
OnlineNaira is a PAyment Gateway and eCurrency Exchanger. Hi olujames, can I receive paypal from a US account using onlinenaira? If yes, how can I go about it? |

Onegai our one and only cappo, which way ma?
God help us all. I remember how helpful this thread was for me, i deleted babycenter app within one week of discovering this place. You guys really rock. Learned so much here, While bfeeding lo with one hand I'd be scrolling through chats with the other hand. God bless you all. Now i only visit the political section of nairaland (once in a while) sha, just to catch up on discussions and news. LO is grown now free time is spent wrestling with him, phone has become a toy to use to stone wall, etc. And the books us Abuja mummies bought and shared has yielded fruit, LO walks to his bookshelf, picks books and brings so i read for him. I also became Kidco's retailer, selling children's books here in Abuja. Found out about reusable diapers here too (lol i'm also trading in this now). Yep, this thread did me well. Onegai resigned her cappo position to face her diaper business. Afterall with all the educational stuff she was posting, all the anchoring she was doing here, all the moderation she was pulling off (and the beef she was having to chop once in a while)... all that won't help pay school fees mehn. |

Health › Re: List Of Malaria Drugs Removed From European Markets. by Tojued: 8:51am On Jul 24, 2017 |
psucc: @ Plendil & Drkay, pls check the heading. I am not a Dr nor in business related to health. I equally did not author it.
Just as the recent judgement delivered by a Nigerian Court which was based on the destruction of exported Coke and Fanta in Britain for being harmful, the post is just a list of malaria treatment drugs that have been removed from the European markets.
Pls kindly confirm if those drugs are still on sale there. Those drugs were never on sale there because people don't have malaria there. Malaria drugs are only sold over the counter in malaria endemic regions. If you have malaria abroad its faster for your relatives to send you malaria medicine by DHL than for you to acquire the drug through their medical system. I'm ashamed of our senate for wasting sitting allowance on such unsubstantiated allegations. Their personal assistants cannot do simple google research to see that this rumor has already been refuted in Ghana? just listen to what the doctors @drkay and @plendil have said, alright? And it's time we stopped voting semi-literates into political positions. |
