Christianity EtcRe: What Do Christians Mean By "Its Your Heart That Matters" by Toks2008(m): 12:31pm On Sep 07, 2014
tintingz: Exactly!

some Christians are hypocrites, they forgot that any action done is the product from the heart/intention.
Samuel,6 Verse 7

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

God does not see things as ee see it but yes we know that a sin is a sin but a man who commits adultery because his wife practically denied him conjugal rgt may not face same condemnation like a man who is hopelessly adulterous.

A man who steals money to take care of a sick relative cant face the same penalty like a man who steals for a living and a man who lied to save a man from been killed innocently can not be said to be a liar.

Complicated but true. God ways are never our ways

Gigateem: My brother, you're very wrong o. A true christian is Christ like, he doesn't sin, he who is born of God overcomes the world. Don't get it wrong. Anyone who sins, is a sinner! A sinner has no part in the kingdom of God. Please read Romans 6:1-12; Heb 6:4-6.
Slow down, the fact that we sin does not make you a sinner but he that enjoys sin and deliberarely looks forward to sinning is a slave to sin yet could still be born again.

This matter is complicated and we must not make things hard for ourselves.

When you become born again, sometime some sinful habbits take time to wade off and seing urself do those acts does not make u less a beluever but you only need to perfect ur salvation with the help of the joly spirit.

Hard sermon like urs have made many people end up in hell rgt now because they gave up their salvation due to lingering sins.

FamilyRe: Marital Conflict - What Do You Suggest? by Toks2008(m): 10:37am On Sep 07, 2014
You can be together and grow old together if both of you are willing to work it out.

Every relationship has a cycle… In the beginning; you fall in love with your partner. You anticipate their calls, want their touch, and like their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love wasn’t hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn’t have to DO anything. That’s why it’s called “falling” in love.

People in love sometimes say, “I was swept of my feet.” Picture the expression. It implies that you were just standing there, doing nothing, and then something happened TO YOU.

Falling in love is a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few months or years of being together, the euphoria of love fades. It’s a natural cycle of EVERY relationship.

Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they call at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens) and your spouse’s idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts. The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage.

At this point, you and/or your partner might start asking, “Am I with the right person?” And as you reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when relationships breakdown.

People blame their partners for their unhappiness and look outside for fulfillment just to start that same circle all again and later realize the former partner was way better than the present one and then some people opt out once more to start that same circle all over with another new person and at this point the world starts looking at you as a clueless no good person who can never be happy with anyone.

The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person, it’s learning to love the person you found.

Did you read that last paragraph?please get this once more;

The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person, it’s learning to love the person you found.

Loving someone is not by accident, its not a feeling, its a conscious decision by the people involved to be together and weather the storms together and not looking for an easy way out. The storms of lack, incompatibility childlessness, family scuffle, infidelity, bitterness, and many more.

Until both of you are willing to make it work, only then will GOD come in to make it happen. Because two people can never work together except they agree.

Hope this helps.

All this wooeing game sef, many times before i approach a lady,i will think about the stress invilved, then the taughts of her faking a yes for a reason asides from genuity of purpose then i begin to wonder if she is truly involved with me,if she likes my person or just coping pending when she sees another guy.

This is not about complex, but the fact on ground but when a lady shows intrest in you then you are more certain she truly desires you.

Superstar007: Yeah. Same way ladies should respect a guy that approaches them, I'm not talking about those who go after everything in skirts. Do they care how the guy feels after mustering courage to approach them only to be dismiss by the wave of a hand. This is a two way street, you don't expect every guy to accept you just because you are a lady or the the heavens to fall because a guy rejected you. Its a 50/50 thing.
Padi mi abeg no be so,its a man's world they say so its really a man's duty so lets respect any lady who takes the bold step.

ayukdaboss: You see? Your ego is too much. No guy who really wants a girl will just try once or maybe you're not really interested in the guy. If you can't be persistent in wooing a guy please stay put until one does. wink
Haaa! Persistence ke? One single effort equates to 1year effort of a guy on a lady.
RomanceRe: Why Is It Difficult To Woo Guys On Nairaland? by Toks2008(m): 4:38pm On Sep 04, 2014
Superstar007: You know. I agreed with your post till the point I read that because a lady show interest in you that its a privilege. Like seriously huh What do you take guys for? For the records, its not everyone that reasons that way. I agree the dude should have been more diplomatic but seeing the way ladies do treat guys, I feel there is nothing really wrong with his approach.
Let me explain the privilege side of it.

Do you know that for a lady to show inteeest at all in a guy,she must have weighed the prones and coins, now im not reffering to sluts but sometimes even the most decent of ladies have a dream guy just as we guys jave dream ladies as regards to looks, built, color as well as personality.

So if a lady ever shows interest in you then be most certain that you are her ideal guy and that alone is a priviledge.

I have wooed a lady before who told me she does not like dark guys and i have met a lady that says she goes weak when ahe sees a dark cute guy and even went further to say she may commit adultery if she ends up marrying a fair guy.

Trust me on this, our ladies dey try, they will see a man that has all physical attributes yet will be scared to make advances and one guy will come from no where and expect them to say yes even when he is totally not it for them and these rather helpless ladies will just say ok for fear of wasting away while they have watched hundreds of choice guys walk pass them.

Lets respect any lady who ever shows interest in a man and i repeat,im not talking abiut sluts which is not hard to know.

Superstar007: Because he rejected the babe, that makes him immature huh WoW! Whats your definition of maturity?
You don't have to reject as in that word REJECT.

And if you read well, he did not reject in a diplomatic manner but rather in an awkward manner. I have met many super decent and responsible chics on nairaland and those who i don't see any possibility of getting close to we remain good friends till tomorrow. The fcat that a lady shows interest in you is a privilege. Such lady should never be shown any form of disrespect in anyway but should remain a very good ally and friend.

BankuTilapia2: You have to be a low life to come here looking for a guy hahaa
Poster i am awfully sorry to write that this is the most immature and unintelligent post i have ever read on nairaland.

How could you reason this way worse still punch the keypads to write this absurdity?

Furthermore i believe you are even of a lower life because for you to write this goes to show your reasoning faculty. I am expecting you to insult me after reading this but i promise not to respond because i am really disappointed that this type of rhetorical mombo jumbo can come out from a rational thinker.

You have no idea that the most decent people are those who really seek for honest friendship rather than jumping out there to mix with riff raffs

Just yesterday a young tall guy on Nairaland from Enugu state gave me an all time blow when it was obvious I was trying to woo him, he started with iyanga and walah he ignored me completelyonly for somebody to call me names for making my intention known. cry

Do we really have gentlemen on Nairaland?
Can a guy reply pm's of a girl with an open mind?

blakky97: That's what I've observed about them. Its the money they respect and not the person. There's a girl who comes to visit my neighbour friend. She comes to the compound almost everyday, and she meets me washing and packaging batteries, she never greeted me. the gateman was very ill one day so I even helped her open the gate when she was going out. She just raised her eye brows, puffed her cheeks and left without saying thank you. So one day she met me with one of her 'rich male friends' playing ball. I believe she asked him why he was associating with my 'class' of people. Then the guy. Told her "that person you are seeing there gets contracts worth 1.9m every month from estate developers in lekki, and the EOD you drove out the last time you came is his own he's just humble". While actually its not acurate that I make 1.9m monthly, I was bewildered by how well she smiled and greeted me the next time she saw me. But I didn't respond. I only looked back to check if there was a rich man behind me she was greeting. She repeated that scene on four more occasions before she stopped greeting me because it became obvious to her that I was never going to reply. I hate girls like seriously. Even the ones in the villages are infected with the same disease of the heart as the city ones. Its when they get to 38y at home they start forming holy holy.
I am very sorry to say his.

I HAVE LOST FAITH IN NIGERIAN LADIES.99% OF THEM ARE MONEY MONGERS AND THEY CARE LESS ABOUT YOU BUT ITS ALL THEY CAN GET FROM YOU. WHAT A SHAME.
