Visa refusal is different from refused entry so it's
D not E
know:
Thanks Oga. I think it's under 6E

One is okay.its not compulsory to have both or either
dedalove:
Hello house. I want to know if I am to get both reference letter and letter of indebtedness from my bank or will just one of it be okay for my POF?
Thanks please it's urgent.

Yes you can swap your primary and secondary NOC.. but be sure that swapping means that you have to provide reference letter for the two NOC if you aim to claim the maximum work experience points.
Mamaroon:
Hello all and help pls. I'm in the pool with 434 and writing TEF (again undecided) soon.

I know 3 years continuous work experience gets us max scores in the CRS, but do the 3 years have to be in one NOC? So assume I have 2 years in NOC1 and 10 years in NOC2, total work experience 12 years. Can I change my primary NOC from NOC2 (10 years) to NOC1 (2 years) without it affecting my points?

Trying to see if a different NOC may get me a nomination cheesy

The profile (scores)becomes invalid...you have to update with new results on the existing EE profile except it has clocked one year when it becomes ineligible
meelife:
Good morning all,
If IELTS expires while one is still in the pool, does it make the profile invalid?
Can one upload a new IELTS weeks after in the same account or has to create a new account.
Thanks.

You will get it through Accra
Tochai007:
Thanks @harry41.
I got an update. Application was approved May 3rd and still with Case Processing Center, Ottawa.

I'm wondering if that's where my PPR will be sent from or they'll still forward to AVO before I get PPR.
The wait is not funny anymore. embarassed huh huh

PCC outside your country of residence doesn't expire so far you obtained it after your last visit. But becomes invalid when you visit again before application submission.
joo2018:
For your country of residence, which in your case I believe should be Nigeria, your PCC must not be expired. That means you will work with the 3 months.

For any other country, you use the 6 months.

You can as well validate the form after inputting your name and date on the last page of the form too.
nonen:
Lady, I’d want to take your response as sarcasm, hoping you misunderstood my question which was very straight forward. I’ve gotten my desired response already.
Thanks

Funds can be there anytime up to a day before submission and will be backed by letter of authority from you to use the funds in your account for the purpose of EE and the remaining funds from family will be a gift deed in either her name or yours depending on who receives it
Or if she has the money in her account for six months and she can submit her bank statement only or a bank letter in cic format.
croxx86:
Good Day

Please i want to know when is the best time for her to have funds ready in her account for POF as 70% of the funds would be coming from me and 30% from family.

Some say every transfer should be done into her accounts 2 weeks before opening express entry profile. Need your advice. Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by tolfa(m): 4:27pm On May 24, 2019
Print first bank statement as evidence then present your axa mansard docs...a little LOE to explain that you invest your money in money market after receiving the gift.

Natalie27:
Good day everyone .. please I received a gift deed from my dad into my first bank account and I wish to move the funds to my AXA mansard money market account at least to accumulate some interest (winks) .

Asides the deed do I need to provide a statement of account and reference letter from both first bank and AXA mansard ?.. kind of confused because the deed states money was moved to first bank and I wish to use AXA mansard’s Statement and reference...
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by tolfa(m): 11:00am On May 24, 2019
I think you can get them ready with the exception of printing your bank statement which should not be older than 28days prior to submission. That's if your POF is domiciled in your bank account
godG:
Good People, please, does it make sense to have the PoF docs ready in, say, 3 weeks before submitting one's application? Or does it have to be dated in like a few days before submission?

I'm asking because I am thinking of getting my PoF docs ready. Expecting ITA in the next draw, and hopefully submit a week after ITA.

What do y'all think?

Happy Thursday, let's not be weary but be strong irrespective of the stage we are on this journey. However, Federal election comes up in October and i will encourage us that we should put in more effort if its IELTS or ECA because we might not know what will happen after the elections as regards immigration numbers. My assertion is based on the news though...

It looks somehow but if you won't be submitting your birth certificate with your application, then Ogun state should suffice without any affidavit, since it will reflect on your international passport data page. And if you seems uncomfortable, you can go for the attestation of birth issued by NPC and discard the birth certificate with error. My opinion.
Zara01:
Hi all, I'm posed with a slight issue regarding my place of birth, please see below.

Birth Certificate: PLACE OF BIRTH - Lagos.
International Passport: PLACE OF BIRTH - Ogun.

The actual place of birth is Ogun so I don't know why my birth certificate reads Lagos.

Will I need to swear an affidavit regarding this or only attach a LOE for the discrepancy?

Thank you.

This is serious, with the facts you have presented you might attempt to reach WES again and present your case to them but if they remain adamant then you can support it with LOE, after all there are evidence of WES mistake and correspondence with them
chikcutie:
@ Tolfa, I also followed up with my school, and they said it was 2011 that was stated in the verification. I'm just confused.

chikcutie:
Hello guys..

I have been a silent follower on this thread. I think it's time for me to be very active. Congrats to all who have received their PPR.

I have a challenge however, and I'll love for the gurus to help me out.

When I received my ECA report, I discovered 2 errors.

My Date of birth on the ECA report for my WAEC stated January 1991, but the correct date of birth is January 1992.

Also, my year of undergrad certificate clearly stated July 2011, but the ECA report stated 2012.

I sent WES an email highlighting these errors. They responded stating that there were no errors in the report and that no changes would be made.

How do you advise I go about it?

Do I prepare a letter when submitting supporting documents explaining these errors?

Would this be an issue?

I really need opinions pleaseeeeee

Many thanks.
Well, I will say that from experience, WES picks the DOB on the transcripts prior to the WAEC era as part of requirements and I guess the issue with your graduate date must have come from your transcript possibly, if you can find out what was written on your transcript it will give an insight to why 2012 was stated instead of 2011.
As per your DOB, you might have to go back to the source which is WAEC to correct it and then probably get WES notified because I think it was due to DOB discrepancy that led to WAEC certificate as part of requirements.

DOB means date of birth.

A Monday or back to back draws for FSW might suffice soon
Scandinavian02:
Since IRCC decided to do FST draw today, does it mean no FSW draw for the week again?

That's the standard irrespective of the status. Just make sure you tell them you are having upfront medical for express entry(Federal skilled worker) that's it

Thanks for the response.
This is for someone in the pool but without ITA, right?

You can't use a result that you have submitted for EOR until after the EOR has been completed
Crookesmore:
Hello,

Please i created a profile today with my ielts result, 6.5 in writing. Now am thinking of remarking while i prepare for another.

The question is can i go ahead with the EOR since i have already used it to create a profile?

Thanks Topsmamen for the clarification..twale[quote author=Topsmamen post=77505274

There's a guy who did not even state in his reference letter that he was paid in cash, neither did he write an LOE. See his post here.

This other guy was paid in cash and stated it in his reference letter, attached his employment letter and wrote an LOE that he didn't have pay slips. See here.

Don't sweat about it bro. Like you rightly put it, do what you're comfortable with.

Based on the trend of discussion...you can request for another reference letter if possible, or get them to write a letter solely on your salary that it's paid in cash and you attach it to the reference letter.
TFCfootball:
I have gotten my reference letter already and it doesn't include (paid in cash).
I suggested it but we felt it would be a bit tacky and unprofessional. Please what should I do?

If a wedding certificate was issued during the church wedding that's a good evidence of your union and if you want to have the court wedding then presenting it together with the former certificate will need an explanation to avoid confusion from my perspective.
Biometrics can be done anywhere irrespective of the location.
Queencyco:
Good morning house, I have a few questions.

- My (church/traditional) marriage is about 3.5 years old but we haven't done court marriage. I hope it's not too late to get it done this month for the purpose of this immigration. Will it raise any suspicion? We already have two kids.

- Is it possible for the PA to do biometrics in another country e.g Denmark, while your family does theirs in Nigeria ?

PS: The PA won't be in Nigeria by then and may not be able to travel back for this purpose.

Personally, I would suggest that you should be calm and see what happens in the next two to three draws. 449 is a good score that will fetch you ITA anytime soon as you can see there a steady drop in cutoff scores. It can be scary though but be hopeful
kaylov12:
Hello house, i will like a candid advice please. I have a crs score of 449 and im caught in between anxiety from not getting out of the pool till my next birthday (1st July ) and thinking of writing another ielts. Am i just unnecessarily anxious?. I need my nairalanders' advice please
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by tolfa(m): 4:46am On Apr 07, 2019
No, you will have two minutes left after the listening exam for CBT. You are advised to answer directly in the computer.
The way it is, except for gap fill questions, I don't think you have to type answers at all.
Xyzee:
Dear All,

Please, for those who have done the Computer-Based Listening Test; Is there anytime allowed to type your answers from your notes?

I noticed there is a whole 10minutes allowed for the PBT.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by tolfa(m): 2:14pm On Apr 06, 2019
Personally, I believe you took the right decision. PNP certificate can take time and your potential 473 is a hit anytime draw is made.
olujastro:
Hi guys, I got an email earlier in the week from Alberta Province that I have been selected to apply for their PNP based on my suitable profile. I didn't apply for it.

I'm in the pool with 433 and will upgrade to 473 this summer.

I'm planning to ignore it because of the high cost, long waiting time and provincial restriction of PNP.

I just thought I bring it here for inputs in case there might be any reason to regret ignoring this offer in the future.

You have all it takes to ace IELTS...why not give it a quick retry as it's 'hot' and give it a remark if you have the means. Remark is usually 6 weeks though

The writing part2 Topic was about FASTFOOD and its effect on lifestyle and diet. However, I was writing with the thought of fastfood shops (mr biggs, chicken republic, etc) THESE ARE NOT FASTFOOD oo. It was after the test that I realized that fastfood is actually the food itself and it can be prepared anywhere (even at home lipsrsealed).
I wrote @least 280 words.

Do I go for a remark? (I will toss a coin)

How long does EOR take? (I dunno)

Do I need help in writing? (yes I do) cry cry

As for the job, if it falls in NOC A,B and 0 and fulfils the requirement in terms of working hours, then it's one year experience.
I don't think WAEC follow EE, hence, it's not needed
Skillzthebadguy:
Good day guys
I hope you will respond to my questions.
I have been a silent reader on this thread and I have read most things here.
But my question is as follow. After evaluating my bsc do I also need to evaluate my waec too, again I have one time where I worked 6 months twice with the same job role,, can that serve as 1 year work experience as there was a break in-between.
Please I would need a reply
Thanks in advance
God bless everybody on this thread.
