You are simply engaging in a futile dance of the extremely slow and foolish species of nature . . .

Has power supply improved on a fairly general scale ? . . .Answer == > Yes . . .Counter this line or stop acting the usual silly fool . . . .

just a rewind . . . . . . .

I have known since waaaaayyyyy back that power improves drastically during the rainy season, so we cannot list this as GEJ's achievement.
Politics / Re: America At 49, Wat Was Their Achievements Compared To Nigeria @49 by tollu: 12:31am On Jul 28, 2012
Otutu1: U guys keep deceiving ur selves with this same excuse, they didn't turn 49 in the same era, can u compare d accomplishments of your grandad at 30 to yourself at the same age? We have/had everything to make this country great from the go but refuse to realize that if we are waiting for 200 years plus to be developed maybe all our resources giving us mouth in the international community would have been depleted or even finished. Even electricity we no get meanwhile I dey Ghana dey enjoy light for 3 years non stop and we are both 50 years old. I weep for my nation cry cry

Car Talk / Re: Should Lagos Govt Ban Okada ? by tollu: 8:05am On Jul 24, 2012
Just yesterday before my very eyes, an okada that was running too fast hit this little girl that was on her way from school. The girl landed with her head on the hard concrete and Lord knows how that ended.
I was to come out of a street but waited for the oncoming traffic to clear, if I had driven into the street at that point, na me for take head carry all that wahala.

Yes, accidents happen but at the same time can be prevented. I wouldn't mind a total ban of okadas really, they are a total menace. We didn't have Okadas in the past and people still got around.
They are reckless and have refused to be regulated.

Travel / Re: Msc/phd Canada Or Oil Job In Nigeria by tollu: 11:25am On Jun 18, 2012
Patience and planning is key. If I were in your shoes, I'd accept the job, work for a year and apply for Canadian Federal Skilled Worker program (though their list of occupations changes year after year so there's a little risk here). If you get the papers through FSW then, you can school in Canada at Domestic student rate (tuition).

And if the FSW doesn't work out, you can always apply as a student after a year.

michelin89: Can't you see her knuckles are much darker than the "colour" of her hand? angry It's not a skin problem. The mum (who's a bleacher) is also bleaching her child.

Haba! Dark knuckles aren't a sign of bleaching. Some people have those naturally.
I can see green veins on your hands as well and some people would call that a sign of bleaching as well.

And here's why I never give too much of myself to anybody.
The only thing that can make this acceptable in my view is if the wedding was understated and sober. If it was a wild out celebration, then tsk tsk tsk.

You said you still love him, you need to talk to know if the love is mutual because if he doesn't love you then that's a whole other issue. You need to discover if there's actually anything left to salvage.

Family / Re: Would You Go For A Low-key Marriage Ceremony? (you, Spouse, Parents And Siblings) by tollu: 7:18am On Mar 26, 2012
My wedding, my rules. I don't understand it when people say my parents won't let me have a small wedding, if they want a party so bad, they are free to put me and my husband's pictures on seats and call it wedding in absentia.

My wedding is gonna have 30 people in it TOPS. Classy, intimate and elegant is what I'm shooting for.
Travel / Re: Touring Africa- Come Along To South Africa! by tollu: 4:57pm On Mar 24, 2012
Nobody yet? Is SA too expensive to start with or something?
If you have any suggestions or comments please say.

Oj Dollars also said something about Ghana perhaps we should try that first? At least no Visa required for that.
