Christianity Etc › Re: Are Muslims Truly More Than Christians In Nigeria? by tomakint(op): 12:11pm On Aug 07, 2012
fumisko: Why won't there be?there are lots of almanjiris (permit me if this the write spelling) in the north roaming the roads. A man can give birth to 20 kids and the are all Muslims but how many Christians do you see do it like that (mark my words I didn't say there aren't Christians with large families, I said how many?) because there are some troublesome people here. So obviously it won't be a lie if they are much. Your talk now is to be getting the few almanjiris? Or much?on the roads gainfully employed or educated. I know what am saying I live in the north, before you start attacking
Since you know what you are talking about, no wahala! I am basing my opinion that Christians are more based on the rate at which Muslims are converting to Christianity!

Sports › Messi Vs C. Ronaldo: The Myth! by tomakint(op): 10:29pm On Jul 29, 2012
The debate will continue to rage on in as much as these two great talents are still in active services no matter what! The debate about who is the greatest between these two geniuses can be summarized under their individual efforts for teams mostly on goals and assists! What comes next is the numbers of trophies and awards the team was able to achieve while engaging one of them in their services. Another point to consider is their respective consistencies in big matches’ week in, week out!

On one hand is Lionel Messi, Barcelona ace and rave of the moment in world club football. As for this past season (2011/2012), in 60 appearances he scored 73 massive goals and made 29 assists in all competitions, a first-of-its kind feat in club football history! His dominance in the modern era of the game is incredible and almost unbelievable. On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid mega star and currently with a champion’s medal in the league, a stylish, hardworking and fleet-footed striker who loves challenges. In his 55 appearances he has succeeded in banging in 60 goals and 15 assists while also picking ‘19’ man of the match awards in the process, he also became the only player to score against every club in La Liga in the same season (2011/2012). Now, where is this argument tilting towards? Can we now conclude that C. Ronaldo is the greatest or Messi deserves to wear the crown?

Another issue to consider is, if Barcelona had not been blessed with such a dominant midfield under the influences of Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets would Messi be as dominant as he is now? But football analysts who watched this season closely may likely correct this notion that the 2011/12 season was even more difficult for Barcelona as a team, it seems the team is generally fatigued. Messi on most occasions has to shoulder the responsibilities of injured David Villa and the on and off Pedro Rodriquez all alone. Indeed, Messi proved his invincibility by scoring 73 incredible goals, 20 more than previous season’s efforts where Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets were even more prominent in the midfield. What of if C. Ronaldo was to be in another team would he have the same success as he does now in Real Madrid? Even going further in this debate, assuming Messi is taken out of the Barcelona squad and the same with C. Ronaldo which of the team would have had a superior season? Which of the team would still have gone ahead to win the El Classico and eventually pick the coveted La Liga title? Let us evaluate the impacts of their goals and assists to their respective teams. This is absolutely statistics and may not necessarily be the final solution to the lingering debates between the two. In the 2011/12 season, Barcelona finished the year in the second place with 91 points; they won 28 matches, drew 7, lost 3 and to cap it up, finished with a goal difference of 85. Assuming Messi is not in Barcelona, they would have finished in 6th place with probably 62 points, winning 16 matches, drawing 14 and losing 8, then finishing with a goal difference of 19. As for Real Madrid, they finished the season as champion with 100 points. They won 32 matches, drew 4 and lost 2, ending the season with a goal difference of 89. If Cristiano Ronaldo was not in the team. Real Madrid would have finished the year still in 1st place but with 75 points, winning 22 matches, drawing 9, losing 7 and finishing with a goal difference of 31.

Indeed, so far from these calculations, it is very obvious that Messi means more to Barcelona than to what C. Ronaldo is to Real Madrid. What made this past season (2011/12) looked the way it was is the fact that the Barcelona team machine started showing some clinks and clanks in the perfect formula at a time Lionel Messi was at his best! The debate seems to be getting one-sided now, perhaps may prompt the next question – Is Messi the greatest ever? (Note the question, no more contention with C. Ronaldo). I think the answer is a capital YES! Perhaps I am biased you may think or probably you thought I am just being naïve. I may not be privileged to have watched earlier games right from the inception of the game or simply put, when it was created. One thing is very clear, and that is; there has never been anyone like Messi, especially from the way he does his art in terms of his self-generated formula for every occasion on the pitch, coupled with his style, grace and creativity. People will always argue that he is yet to win a World Cup, you will agree with me that this era is no longer a World Cup freak moment, but it is indeed an era club football rules. There has never been anyone in the history of the game that is better than Lionel Messi especially at his age. If at his age he can carry the responsibilities of a tired and injured Barcelona on his tiny shoulders and came out with such intimidating records he set, then he deserves another FIFA Ballon d’Or.

Sometimes you have to stop and think and wonder at yourself that, are we not looking at another “human wonder of the world”? Messi is simply defining an era, think about this; he always starts new season with a new age, new records, new magic, new styles, the list is endless. One frightening thing about this genius is that, his best is yet to come! He is busy achieving what no other players have been able to do in the modern era. I think the comparison between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo may hit a dead end in this coming season 2012/13. Cristiano Ronaldo started his professional club football career in the 2002/03 season with Sporting Clube de Portugal, 2 years ahead of Lionel Messi who began his promising club career with F.C Barcelona in the 2004/05 season. So far so good, C. Ronaldo has played 467 games in his club career till date (as at the end of the 2011/12 season) with 269 goals and 87 assists while Messi has played 329 games with 253 goals and 102 assists to show. One thing is important to note here, C. Ronaldo has played 138 more games ahead of Messi yet, its just a mere 16 goals separating C. Ronaldo from Lionel Messi. Should Messi overtake C. Ronaldo in all goals for club career in this coming season, (which is possible) then C. Ronaldo is history! Note that in the just concluded season (2011/12), Messi was 13 goals ahead of C. Ronaldo in all club competitions. I will not doubt the possibility of Messi stepping up his game and doing the expected – leaving Cristiano Ronaldo behind! Already, he (Messi) had overtaken him (C. Ronaldo) in the number of assists as you can see from the statistics above.

In my own candid opinion, I think in the history of club football, “Messi’s Myth” will continue to convince the convinced and confuse the confused for a long time to come!
Christianity Etc › Re: Why The Doctrine Of "TRINITY" Has Generated So Much Furore! by tomakint(op): 10:12pm On Jul 29, 2012
Freksy: Your take on "TRINITY" is one of the reasons for the "Furore"

The highlighted expression shows you believe in three Gods.

However, I agree with you that God, our heavenly father, is greater than his son, Jesus Christ. The bible references you made in your subsequent post explicitly support that.

Can you please do the same regarding the [b]holy spirit [/b]by referring me to where it is called "God" in the bible?
No, no, no, no Fresky! I don’t believe in three Gods because by my own understanding it is anti-Bible! I’m sorry about that if you take my quoted post to be so. My intention on that is simply this; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost works hand in hand, I think the doctrine of TRINITY is purely antithetical to the teaching of the Bible. While Christ was on Earth in human body, he made mention of the Supremacy of God the Father to every other one and even when the revelation was given to John in the Book of Revelations, Christ now in the Spirit, in the real appearance of a LAMB (from Revelations 5 onwards) still did obeisance to God the Father! He (Our Lord Jesus Christ) proved that they were separate BEINGS as seen in Revelation 5: 6-7. To buttress on your poser, I think you are right, there was no place in the Bible (at least by my searching) where the Holy Spirit was called God. Of course, the Holy Spirit was definitely involved in the creations as exemplified by the “Let us” in the book of Genesis 1. Definitely, the doctrine and origin of “TRINITY” must be well scrutinized because from time immemorial you hear the word “MYSTERY” attached to this doctrine even though Jesus Christ never made mention of it while he was in the body and in the Spirit forms. One thing I have noticed is that Christ knew many strange doctrines will spring up, no wonder he instructed us to “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me” (John 5: 39). It’s a pity many Christians hardly read their Bibles these days but would rather go to church and allow strange doctrines to alter their lives, imagine some churches don’t even believe in Rapture and many other teachings of the Bible. Indeed, we are in the end times. God help us! Thank you.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why The Doctrine Of "TRINITY" Has Generated So Much Furore! by tomakint(op): 5:46pm On Jul 26, 2012
justaqad: None of the Bible’s Writers Believed That Jesus is God: Christians and Muslims both believe in Jesus, love him, and honor him. They are, however, divided over the question of his divinity. Fortunately, this difference can be resolved if we refer the question to both the Bible and the Quran, because, both the Bible and the Quran teach that Jesus
is not God. It is clear enough to everyone that the Quran denies the divinity of Jesus, so we do not need to spend much time explaining that. On the other hand, many people misunderstand the Bible; they feel that the belief in Jesus as God is so widespread that it must have come from the Bible.
This article shows quite conclusively that the Bible does not teach that. The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is not God. In the Bible God is always someone else other than Jesus. Some will say that something Jesus said or something he did while on the earth proves that he is God. We will show that the disciples never came to the
conclusion that Jesus is God. And those are people who lived and walked with
Jesus and thus knew first hand what he said and did. Furthermore, we are told in
the Acts of the Apostles in the Bible that the disciples were being guided by the
Holy Spirit. If Jesus is God, surely they should know it. But they did not. They
kept worshipping the one true God who was worshipped by Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (see Acts 3:13). All of the writers of the Bible believed that God was not Jesus. The idea that Jesus is God did not become part of Christian belief until after the Bible was
written, and took many centuries to become part of the faith of Christians. Matthew, Mark, and Luke, authors of the first three Gospels, believed that Jesus was not God (see Mark 10:18 and Matthew 19:17). They believed that he
was the son of God in the sense of a righteous person. Many others too, are
similarly called sons of God (see Matthew 23:1-9). Paul, believed to be the author of some thirteen or fourteen letters in the Bible, also believed that Jesus is not God. For Paul, God first created Jesus, then
used Jesus as the agent by which to create the rest of creation (see Colossians
1:15 and 1 Corinthians 8:6). Similar ideas are found in the letter to the Hebrews,
and also in the Gospel and Letters of John composed some seventy years after
Jesus. In all of these writings, however, Jesus is still a creature of God and is
therefore forever subservient to God (see 1 Corinthians 15:28). Now, because Paul, John, and the author of Hebrews believed that Jesus was God’s first creature, some of what they wrote clearly show that Jesus was a pre-
existent powerful being. This is often misunderstood to mean that he must have
been God. But to say that Jesus was God is to go against what these very authors
wrote. Although these authors had this later belief that Jesus is greater than all
creatures, they also believed that he was still lesser than God. In fact, John
quotes Jesus as saying: “...the Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28). And Paul declares that the head of every woman is her husband, the head of every man is
Christ, and the head of Christ is God (see 1 Corinthians 11:3). Therefore, to find something in these writings and claim that these teach that Jesus is God is to misuse and misquote what those authors are saying. What they
wrote must be understood in the context of their belief that Jesus is a creature of
God as they have already clearly said. So we see then, that some of the later writers had a higher view of Jesus, but none of the writers of the Bible believed that Jesus is God. The Bible clearly
teaches that there is only one true God, the one whom Jesus worshipped (see
John 17: 3). In the rest of this article we will explore the Bible in more depth, and deal with the passages which are most often misquoted as proofs of Jesus’ divinity.
We will show, with God’s help, that these do not mean what they are so often
used to prove. 2) Evidence From the Acts of the Apostles: Jesus performed many miraculous wonders, and he without doubt said a lot of wonderful things about himself. Some people use what he said and did as a
proof that he was God. But his original disciples who lived and walked with him,
and were eyewitnesses to what he said and did, never reached this conclusion. The Acts of the Apostles in the Bible details the activity of the disciples over a period of thirty years after Jesus was lifted up to heaven. Throughout this
period they never refer to Jesus as God. They continually and consistently use
the title God to refer to someone else other than Jesus. Peter stood up with the eleven disciples and addressed the crowd saying: “Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to
you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as
you yourselves know.” (Acts 2:22). It was God, therefore, who did the miracles through Jesus to convince people that Jesus was backed by God. Peter did not see the miracles as proof that Jesus
is God. In fact, the way Peter refers to God and to Jesus makes it clear that Jesus is not God. For he always turns the title God away from Jesus. Take the following
references for example: “God has raised this Jesus...” (Acts 2:32) “God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36) In both passages, the title God is turned away from Jesus. So why he did this, if Jesus was God? For Peter, Jesus was a servant of God. Peter said: “God raised up his servant...” (Acts 3:26). The title servant refers to Jesus. This is clear from a previous passage where Peter declared: “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.” (Acts 3:13). Peter must have known that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob never spoke of a Triune God. They always spoke of God as the only God. Here, as in Matthew
12:18, Jesus is the servant of God. Matthew tells us that Jesus was the same
servant of God spoken of in Isaiah 42:1. So, according to Matthew and Peter,
Jesus is not God, but God’s servant. The Old Testament repeatedly says that God
is alone (e.g. Isaiah 45:5). All of the disciples of Jesus held this view. In Acts 4:24 we are told that the believers prayed to God saying: “...they raised their voices together in prayer to God. ‘Sovereign Lord,’ they said, ‘you made the heaven and the earth and the
sea, and everything in them.’” It is clear that the one they were praying to was not Jesus, because, two verses later, they referred to Jesus as “...your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.” (Acts 4:27). If Jesus was God, his disciples should have said this clearly. Instead, they kept preaching that Jesus was God’s Christ. We are told in Acts: “Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and
proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.” (Acts 5:42). The Greek word “Christ” is a human title. It means “Anointed.” If Jesus was God, why would the disciples continually refer to him with human titles like
servant and Christ of God, and consistently use the title God for the one who
raised Jesus? Did they fear men? No! They boldly preached the truth fearing
neither imprisonment nor death. When they faced opposition from the
authorities, Peter declared: “We must obey God rather than men! The God of our fathers raised Jesus...” (Acts 5:29-30). Were they lacking the Holy Spirit? No! They were supported by the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2:3, 4:8, and 5:32). They were simply teaching what they had
learnt from Jesus — that Jesus was not God but, rather, God’s servant and Christ
I must confess you just did a thorough and good job on this, definitely not everyone will buy this, but i am of the opinion that the so-called mystery of the trinity is well exposed in the BIBLE (which you have rightly done) my question is why are so many christians attaching the word, "mystery" to this simple and open truth! Even the book of Revelations laid to rest the so called mystery attached to it starting from Revelations 5 onwards that God is SUPREME and every others did Obeisance to him. Our Lord Jesus Christ has been given the total power over everything and what many christians have failed to understand is who gave Christ these POWERS? Answer= GOD!

My take has always been God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are three distinct (separate) Supernatural Beings United in Agreement of purpose, vision, spirit and the likes and not what I hear around that they are actually three entity in one unified body all in the name of - its a MYSTERY! when the BIBLE clearly states the supremacy of God the Father over and above all as attested to by our LORD JESUS CHRIST! Please what is your take on this?

Our preachers dine and wine with corrupt politicians without telling them to their face, "thus saith the lord". God is raising men behind the screen, men that will be his voice in the end time, men that will stand like John the Baptist and speak to the face of corrupt rulers without fear or favour. The revolution had already started in the Spirit. Nice thread.

Floxyluv: I see you are the wild type, so, this will be my last comment. I agree with you on the home training bit. Still, some people from good homes, mixed schools and all what not sometimes do end up being bad. Home, church, school, and all sort of peer groups do affect a child growing up, but at the long run it boils down to that child decision. So, saying that a child's life style is solely based on the secondary school he attended is a fat big lie.

And i still maintain that You can always air your views without insults.
As much as I appreciate your personal take on this hotly debated topic, please floxylove (what a smooth name) you need to be aware that over 900,000 members are signed to this forum and from time to time they peruse over what we have here and through that some get influenced by what they read! Trust me, information is power! I don't want you to commit the fallacy of 'hasty generalization' on this issue. The fact of the case that cannot be denied is simply, "Girls who go to same sex boarding schools are more promiscuous to those who attend mixed schools" I mean common you know how ladies feel when they are thirsty for that ...hmn (hope you know what I mean). In a same sex school, girls engage in different kinds of sexual perversion that is better imagined but in a mixed school it is minimised because they can always satisfy their urge because of the opposite sex availability. Just my point while i respect your personal discipline but I have to let you know that on a larger scale the ratio is higher in same sex to mixed schools. My point!

The above questions have been flying around for a long time now, the Muslim North because of their expansive landmass have always thought that should mean bigger populations than any other parts of the country. They have been living under this false belief for a long time to come, but this is erroneous to me especially when one considers the fact that many Muslims are fast turning to Christians at an exponential rate just check out the numbers of Wasius, Mojeeds, Akeems, Ibrahims, Aishats, Maryams, etc that are all over our Churches and you will marvel at what the ratio of Christians to Muslims will be in Nigeria of today! According to “Bible Probe” a few years ago, Al-Jazeera reported that roughly six million Muslims are leaving Islam and becoming followers of Jesus every year in Africa.
I wouldn’t mind if someone can supply the current ratio between the two (Of course, except it has been updated. The last time I checked, Muslims were higher in percentage - 2006 statistics courtesy Encarta 2009 edition). I have a convinced feeling that Christians are more now!
Sports › Maradona: Messi Better Than ‘shampoo Commercial’ Ronaldo by tomakint(op): 12:45pm On Jul 24, 2012
Argentine legend Diego Maradona has once again waded into the debate over who is the best footballer in the world, unsurprisingly lending his support to compatriot Lionel Messi.

Regarded as one of the all-time greats himself, Maradona began his career in 1976, and hung his boots up over two decades later after spells with Barcelona, Napoli and Sevilla in Europe. He also led his country to World Cup glory in 1986.

Messi has followed in the legendary footsteps of his former national team manager with a move to the Nou Camp, and is already Barca’s record goalscorer after just eight years in Catalonia.

Hear him, "[Cristiano] might have a more powerful shot, but Messi doesn't need that because he goes right into the area with the ball and everything. I shall never speak ill of Messi, because I know him. Messi scores a goal and shouts out for joy. Cristiano scores a goal and stops dead as if he was doing a shampoo commercial.

“We are both left-handed, both Argentinean, and we are both stars. You'll never get me to say anything bad about Messi."

Unlike Messi, Portuguese winger Ronaldo has played for a number of clubs in his career thus far, with Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United and now Real Madrid all enjoying the luxury of having such a player in their side.

At 27, the £80 million-man is slightly older than his rival, who has won the FIFA Ballon d’Or three times in comparison to Ronaldo’s solitary win in 2008.

truly all forms of terrible sexual practises emanate from same sex boarding schools be it all males or females! it's that crazy and most times girls who attend same sex schools are more promiscuous than other girls who go to mixed schools!

tintingz: dont wanna waste my precious time on artist sorry atheist tongue, i have answered you stop dragin back tins.
@ tintingz get educated on this for once and stop blaspheming!

You said: Mohammed was fortold in "deut 18:18"

= there you go again, that was Our Lord Jesus Christ, unknown to many muslims Jesus Christ was actually a Prophet, in actual fact, He encompasses the five gifts of the ministries he himself declared to as many that were called in Ephesians 4:11. The woman at the well confirmed that Jesus was a Prophet (John 4: 19). The Prophet mentioned here was declared in verse 15 of the chapter you quoted to be a Jew, read it! How come your Muhammad, an Arabian, is now the Prophet?

You said: "And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of abook that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that is learned, saying,Read this, [I pray thee]: and he saith, I cannot; for it [is] sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, [I pray thee]: and he saith, I am not learned. (isaiah 29:11) now in the Quran verse
"Read(Iqraa): In the name of your Lord who created, Created man from a clot. Read(Iqraa): And your Lord is the Most Bounteous, Who teaches by the pen, Teaches man that which he knew not."(Qur'an 96:1-5)

= The Bible has never for once contradicted itself, the book of Isaiah you quoted has nothing to do with Islam let alone your prophet, Muhammad. If the name (Muhammad) is that relevant to our salvation the Bible would have mentioned it compare Isaiah 7: 14 to Matthew 1: 23 and see the perfect unity concerning the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ (Emmanuel). I repeat, there is no place in my Bible where your prophet, Muhammad was mentioned.

You said: and Jesus(as) also said john14:16"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever
"John 15:26"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me"

= Just listen to yourself and study where you quoted, for your information, the Comforter is the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit, who is still alive today and tomorrow note the latter part of the sentence, …..’that he may abide with you forever’ Muhammad is dead, he is no more how come you are quoting this verse to refer to a dead prophet? when John 15:26 even called the Comforter ‘the Spirit of Truth’ – You need to learn English very well!

You said: Once the Holy Prophet (Saw) was given food mixed with poison to eat.He who ate it first expired, but the Holy Prophet (Saw) lived for four years even after taking that food . That food told the Holy Prophet (Saw): There is poison in me. The Prophet showed tremendous energy before his death, the poison had no effect on him. When the Prophet conquered Mecca, he was fasting!"

= Read it yourself over and over again and again! Then tell me if this above sentence has any reasonable meaning.

You said: now is it not Jesus that said about "sign of Jonah" now my question did Jonah die in the big fish belle for 3 day or alive? And you said Jesus is the saviour of the world? Remember he said he came only to the lost sheep of Isreal "mathew 15:24 & 10:5-6" even when they die only the 12 tribes of Isreal will be judged Jesus only call on 'O people isreal' but Mohammed is for all mankind "O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: For We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest. (Quran, 4:174)"

= Really, tintingz you wouldn’t have put yourself in this tight corner if you had not try to explain the Bible to a Christian, you really muddled up things. I pray after this, your eyes will be opened to the truth for once and ever! If he was sent alone to the lost sheep of Israel how come that Canaanite woman’s daughter was healed? In the same Matthew chapter 15 you quoted in verse 28. As for you contesting the fact that Jesus is the savior of the world. Those (genuine Christians) who were confronted in the spirit world by demons, may be in their dreams and even those who have seen the mighty hands of Jesus during healing times will tell you more that at the mention of that Great Name, JESUS; devil, demons, witches, herbalists, sicknesses, curses and all negative forces of this life bow down! I am yet to hear and confirm that Muhammad’s name do the same?

You said: he will even reject you "mathew 7:21" it seems you have questions to answer bro, dnt worry i will soon expose your bible FYI Mohammed(saw) prophecisd and did miracles spliting the moon, healing the injured man in war, causes rain to fall, decending to heaven, water flowing out from his fingers etc the greatest miracle among them all
is the glorious Quran. You need to know more abt Prophet Mohammed(saw) even the monks fortold his coming

= You are simply clueless! Now I understand you better! “Your prophet sliced the Giant Moon into half with his scimitar, water flowing from his fingernails, a palm tree even cried like a baby because your prophet wouldn’t preach under it” and many more cock and bull related miracles – You must be high on cracks to believe this!

You said: ...lemme reserve my post for now

= My friend, you can keep it, I have seen enough! Why I totally own up to what I have posted here, I cannot be held responsible for how you understand it. My Point!
The Christian Bible predates Muhammad and Islam by more than 575 years. The Jewish Torah predates Muhammad and Islam by 1,000 - 3,000 years. Surah 29:46 Muslims were told by Allah, not to question the authority of the scriptures of the Christians, saying, "And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one” - I believe GOD, Yahweh is not the same as your ALLAH – Never!
Christianity Etc › The Place Of Church In Nation Building – Are We Still Faithful? by tomakint(op):
Indeed, Churches in our contemporary times have gone so parasitic due to their weekly money-making businesses that it hardly parades faithful worshipers as it used to but multitudes of faithless worshipers. It has even gone to the level where miracles in most churches nowadays are nothing but pious-fraud, just to glorify and enrich the preachers and their acolytes.

I still don’t understand where Christianity in this end-time is heading! In those days we were told that if Central Banks and other big indigenous companies across the country are looking for people to hire, they will contact the founders of living churches around because they were that trustworthy, but what do we have today? It seems most of the Churches around have now turned into criminals manufacturing establishments where deacons, potential church workers who are privileged to be in high places in their working places are reported by their bosses to their respective pastors of embezzling and misappropriating funds meant for the companies into their private pockets, the list is endless.
What is your take on this? Are we Christians really prepared to meet the Saviour of our souls, JESUS CHRIST?

in the book of isaiah how Quran was fortold
"And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of abook that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that is learned, saying,Read this, [I pray thee]: and he saith, I cannot; for it [is] sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, [I pray thee]: and he saith, I am not learned. "John 15:26"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me"
to the next one Many true Prophets were killed (Matt. 23:7), but they were still true Prophets.
"Once the Holy Prophet (Saw) was given food mixed with poison to eat.He who ate it first expired, but the Holy Prophet (Saw) lived for four years even after taking that food . Politics › Nigeria’s Amalgamation Of 1914: What Our Leaders Say! How True? by tomakint(op):
It has been widely debated among scholars, students, and elders that as a country we are unequally yoked together, hence, there is proper need to define our unification and chart a new course (could be our pre-amalgamation position of Southern and Northern Protectorate, regionalism of the 60s though not having a region too powerful at the central or referendum well undertaken through a National Conference) that will steer this ship of state to the Promised Land! However, the Leaders we so much look up to have their diatribes against the so-called Amalgamation of 1914;

(1) Lord Lugard: “The North and the South are like oil and water, they will never mix”

(2) Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa: “The Southern people who are swamping into this region daily in such large numbers are really intruders; we don’t want them and they are not welcome here in the North. Since 1914, the British Government has been trying to make Nigeria into one country. But the people are different in every way, including religion, custom, language and aspirations, we in the North take it that Nigeria unity is only a British intention for the country they created. IT IS NOT FOR US.”

(3) Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo: “Nigeria is only a geographical expression to which life was given by the diabolical amalgamation of 1914 that amalgamation will EVER remain the most painful injury a British Government inflicted on Southern Nigeria.”

(4) Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello: “The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate from our great grandfather, Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities in the North as willing tools, and the south as conquered territories and never allow them to have control of their future.”

(5) Rtd General Yakubu Gowon: “Suffice it to say that putting all considerations to the test, political, economic as well as social, the basis of unity is not there.”

(6) Dr Nnamdi Benjamin Azikiwe: “If this embryo republic of ours must disintegrate, then in the name of God, let the operation be a short and painless one.”

(7) Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu: “Nigeria is a stooge of Europe. Her independence was and is a lie. Nigeria committed many crimes against her nationals which in the end made complete nonsense of her claim to unity. Nigeria persecuted and slaughtered her minorities; Nigerian justice was a farce; her elections, her census, her politics – her everything – was corrupt. Qualification, merit and experience were discounted in public service. In one area of Nigeria, for instance, they preferred to turn a nurse who had worked for five years into a doctor rather than employ a qualified doctor from another part of Nigeria; barely literate clerks were made Permanent Secretaries; a university Vice-Chancellor was sacked because he belonged to the wrong tribe.”

I am not too sure if you know What the Truth stands for just check this out if you still have anything to say;

Comparing the lives of the two PROGENITORS of CHRISTIANITY and ISLAM:

• Our Lord Jesus Christ birth (Isaiah 7:14) has been foretold centuries before he was ever born, there is no such with Muhammad

• Our Lord Jesus Christ death (Isaiah 53:5-9, Psalm 16:10) was also foretold centuries before he died, there is nothing like that with Muhammad

• Our Lord Jesus Christ resurrection was predicted by him before it took place and it eventually came to pass, non was said of Muhammad, who died of high fever (or on other account that he was poisoned) on 8th June, 632 AD

• Our Lord Jesus Christ came to the world as the true Savior of the world, he had no wife neither was he materialistic, Muhammad had 12 wives and several sexual relations with slaves and concubines, was also a trade merchant heavily into buying and selling

• Our Lord Jesus Christ when he was about to depart this sinful world made series of prophecies (Matthew 24:1-51) concerning what will happen in the future, many have come to pass and are still coming to pass, Muhammad made no prophecy but a rule book (blindly called, holy book – Qur’an)

• Our Lord Jesus Christ performed many miracles during his short time on earth, even to the level of delivering and setting as many souls that were held in bondage by the power of darkness and Satan, and even now at the mention of his name, JESUS; demons, sicknesses, infirmities are overcome, Muhammad did no miracles and even his name cannot perform any miracle

• Our Lord Jesus Christ was sinless (Surah 3: 46), but Muhammad committed sin and needed forgiveness (Surah 40: 55)

• Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, rose up the third day and ascended up bodily into heaven, Muhammad died of high fever (another account says he was poisoned) on the lap of Aisha ( a girl betrothed to him at age 9)

NOTE:
The Jewish and Christian Bibles were written by "inspired men of God" who immediately committed God's Word to writing. Islam doesn't even have either an original or inspired Qur'an. The Muslim Qur'an was made up supposedly from "memory" from those who supposedly committed the words of Muhammad to memory, and from a few scraps found under a bed. This was originally begun about 15-20 years after Muhammad died at his wife Aisha's home in Medina, and he was lowered into a hole in the ground, where he remains. The compilation was not finished until at least 150 years after Muhammad's death. This "hearsay" argument seriously brings the credibility of the Qur'an into question.
