They had better not bring estimated bill for used power, during this period, then! I d wait, if they dare bring it, I go denounce my sanity and readily, chase them away with a rustic machete. Mad folks, irresponsible as their head of government |
Congratulations to him! Am happy he won another but pissed, Ronaldo did not show up. For sportsmanship, he ought to have attended n wait to catch up to Messi,, come next year. Why I certainly dislike him, he is too vain, proud n mean spirited |
johnkey:Ahh! This, is a sample of the hate speech, for those asking an example |
I tire me o. How lame it sounds, yet the poor guy is still languishing in jail! How can you monitor someone thru just 1 phone call? And besides, they had an issue that needed trashing so his call, was valid. Proper investigation should be done, and the guy should have been out on bail except he could not front bail bond? Until proven guilty, he should be in prison. PLEASE, CIVIL ORGANISATIONS SHOULD DO THE NEEDFUL |
sirqeeboi:There lies my annoyance with these media people. This is a story here in your nook of the country, yet it's rocket science, to dig for clear facts from those on the ground before reporting fallacies! Fake news are made to fly fast, because cases of libels, are far in between. Else, stories would be verified, before rushing to pronounce them. |
Biggty:Recover, ke? If these are d only exhibits on him, then shame suppose cover efcc face. What,? He was picked up from airport n no dollars on him to display, but to go him house n bring out watches?? Wtf! If u sell d watch dem, na 2nd valuation go just change music, u hear "touson naira,! Efcc are just quick to nab pple without good case build up |
LONEER:I concur with you on this point. On the side of Plaza, by oron road, those boys are good and have fixed my fones, twice, even once where d guys at slot, could not. They are cheap, but It does not mean, all are out to scam |
[quote author= God have mercy on us in Aba because if such inferno happens, even if there is water in fire service, there won't be road to access affected areas. Let me expound on your take. In onitsha, roads are heavily jammed, with barely free movement, all day long. In a case of need for speed in an emergency, this alone could be a hindrance. That is where I see a need for a seamless integration between governmental agencies, like the police and the fire service or ambulance, to quickly reach affected victims or areas with fire outbreaks. The police can help clear traffic and hasten assistance. But then, the issue of fire fighters, lacking water or fuel to move about, should be addressed sternly. There is no reason, a fire fighting unit should not be able to at least, drive 5 trucks to scene of fire outbreaks, before seeking replenishment of water! At major commercial sites, a community well or borehole, should be sunk, as it can be a source of ready water in cases as this or even sanitary purpose. Any head of a department, charged with ensuring public safety, that sits on the helm during moments of crisis and is found wanting, should be made to face jail terms. This is one bill I look forward to the legislative, passing. I feel for those that lost loved ones, lives and properties. God, is your strength
|
All in a bid to trend. An old, young boy from my village, Drew it on the cracked, asphalted Road in front of my shop, 3 years back. It raised a lot of rancor as it was seen as defacement of state Road. But he claimed it's a bid to draw attention to the failed state of the road. He used a chisel and hammer to mark out the boundaries and the rains, filled it up |
I thought it never really, took off, upon all the expectations? Well, I came looking at comments, to see if there are favourable ones to entice me to go n try it out. Please, if you have one(and it appears a couple of folks here, do), can you be specific towards your location and include a picture of how it looks like? I saw the new gotv, decoder and antenna and was excited:so portable, slim and worth having. Could TStv's, be like that? |
Such hotels where dastardly acts as these, should be shut down and their owners, persecuted to serve as a wake up call! Yes, most of these are struggling to break free and become "1" star, yet it's no excuse not to be able to identify their guests. A simple and less expensive gimmicks to curb this, is the use of a designated fone, to record guests coming into the different rooms. It can be easily hidden to record activities in the reception area and wiped clean, at end of stay. Anyone that objects after noticing such and is uncomfortable, should either not patronize the lodge or go and use his house! This way, no excuses can be given. |
No way will you convince me, this is one kidnapper that has done up to 2 kidnappings, not to talk of the given number! Has he been catching goats or humans? He looks too hungry and a little wet behind the ears, to even be able to lace his shoe lace. What's he been doing with his loot? No clothes on him worth up to 300!this is a scam from the police, just to hype Abba. Besides, the way so much is heaped on this man, the rest of Nigerian police should hide their heads in shame. Idonbelivit |
That was an outright solicitation to the attackers, to "catch me, if u get heart"!. No matter the engagement, no official nor come to think of it,civilian, should be traveling with any entourage, at 9pm in a state, notorious for attacks! He wants to jeopardize innocent lives, just to proof a point? Recklessness, to say the least. No official engagement should grab beyond 5pm and state dinners, should be shifted forward, to Brunch |
Disaster waiting to happen! Tomorrow they will say, it's village people |
A croc can lie motionless for long, preserving heat and energy, especially by day and when it's not threatened or in a frency at the sight of food. Your story has no substance nor do I believe you confronted the zoo keepers and they accepted. I think it highly illogical that a replica crocodile would have been substituted in a zoological garden where people might stumble onto the truth. Be it as read, then the zoo, no try at all as its even easy to catch a croc. The have lions right, so why not a live croc, even if na small one, |
And we wonder at how easily, people fall to scams! That's a waste of billions, poured into pockets instead of a viable investing into more appropriate expenditure! Pray tell me, what exactly are they calibrating? Are you saying the distance from point A to B, is whole figures different, on particular days or by different planes? Whether you are driving in a Lamborghini or fiat truck, the distance between Abuja n kaduna, stays same! It's only duration and comfort, that differs. You can get surveyors to accurately plot any distance and planes, have their odometer for distance covered. So pray tell me why waste such resource? I was expecting a scientific need that will befuddle, but got a lame one instead! This country is blessed but we got so complacent with looting leaders, we develop thick skins to blatant acts of rapes, on our sense of worth!! |
It would have been better if he had crushed the bike and passenger, than swerving to avoid them. 2 is better than 15 deaths. I have always reminded myself when driving, never swerve to avoid anyone that stupidly, dashes in front of the car am driving. I rather kill them than myself or another unlucky road user or users. Still, if that spot is accident prone, something ought to have been done before now. Travel through Kogi, heading towards Lokoja and see the number of speed bumbs, on the road! It's inexpensive and saves lives, if signs are posted to notify drivers, adequately. |
Police foolery in action. Pray tell me, didn't they pass through the checkpoints before entering the town? What stopped them from identifying themselves to the soldiers? It's a checkpoint and they must have been armed, so if they were to be checked, their arms will be visible. Except no checking was done. Secondly, how did the suspect succeed in raising the alarm? Sticking out his head and shouting? Even handcuffed, was he allowed to sit by the window, like a boss? He is supposed to be sandwiched between operatives in the back. Thirdly it's this concept of "am invincible", drunk on power, that cops in Nigeria, go about with. Because you hold a gun, does not mean you are beyond intimidating by a stone - throwing buffoon : David killed Goliath using a sling, right? Let me not say more because even this lengthy write up above, smells! |
Leonbonapart:Unstoppable", I know |
Mehn! E d pain pass boil 4 yansh! I had this experience with UBA, using my Polaris atm.the stupid machine was dispensing cash until it got to my turn, n after inputting my pin, it suddenly rebooted, traping d card! Go n complain ke, wey na una machine, mess up! I gree die thr |
This is a a clear case of unprofessionaism by a whole major company in the power sector! And yet the qualifications needed for a job in Nepal, will include Hse certificate!! With the use of a fire hydrant if installed, the damage will not have been massive as publicized. What's the essence of fire fighting equipment in companies, when most are non-functional?? It will have helped the fire service, battle the incidence better. Although fighting such a hazard can be hazardous itself, but safety engineers at work there, ought to have tended to this! Shithole!! |
chuksvoice:In uyo, akwa ibom |
Don't mind these over zealous faan workers! Oil is not allowed o. Nor is perfumes! I thot it a joke, until I was to carry palm oil(well sealed and in a 10 liter gallon), to Abuja from uyo, but was stopped and told, it's not doable! After after arguing that surely, it will go in the aircraft storage hold, they refused. Had to return it with my sister and most annoying, at the point of boarding and checking luggage, they Wan parm my perfume, that it's "flammable"! I tear, we'll well, explaining that I just bought it and can't leave it behind o! Last last, they wanted me to settle them!! Animals!! |
Hi guys. Need help in unlocking an imported Samsung j5,thats using voice commands. Any assistance? |
What?? No talk of the massive revenue accrued from these such requests?? I had a friend that was robbed, on his way from an interview and had to request 4 another one, paying #18000 for it, after the years interval btwn d robbery n when he finished. Went with him to wasc n u needed to see the number of people there, over the same reason! The longer the years after you sat for it and when you are requesting, so the huge monies you end up paying! |
JOSHDIAMOND28:And you that live in the vicinity of the area, what update did you bring up? You just jump into the matter and assume, I live as your neighbor in the FaceTime room, behind the compound it happened, right? Well, attention!! I am not your neighbor, so throw enlightenment as to d cause of the incident, pray |
maasoap:Respect, bro, for your matured response, even if it's not toeing my stance. This is how you know, those with sense here, not the commentator above |
This story, smells to high heavens! But alas, there is nothing strange anymore, one will not hear. Taking it as it's highlighted, the provider of the accommodation, shouldn't be bothered :if you are irresponsible enough to be ready to sleep in such room, with a working gen, just a door away, and no ventilation, you deserve to die like a wimp! For crying out loud, how stupid can one NE, after stories of carbon monoxide poisoning, widely circulated? Reminds me of kitchen accidents, from gas explosion :gas smells and it should be obvious something is amiss, before you light up your cooker:so, blame the person only. Rest in peace to them, anyway |
My heart is heavy, from reading so much accidents involving trucks of dangote cement! Let his acumen not be tarnished by the recklessness of his employed drivers. I thought a time not too far back, it was reported that graduates were rushing to apply as drivers in his company :were they not taken? Are his drivers, not competent with driving laws? Are there no refresher course for them, so as less efficient ones can be dropped? It's far too frequent a happenstance and leaves a bitter taste. He should be concerned enough to know, in far better climes, these can rub off on his reputation. Urgent steps should be taken, by him and the Nigerian govt, to curb these rising rates, before karma catches up with them |
These two that look like troop carriers??!! Am sure they are and max capacity is 6 men!! No armament mounted I. E, 50 Cal guns nor grenade launchers on them!! How seriously serious, the air force needs to be, to roll back the spite of attacks from boko haram, then they are, presently! What happens to Apache attack helis?? NAF, just don't get what superior air strikes, can do!! |
The matter should not be swept under the carpet and forgotten. It's a stain on the reputation of the hotel as well. If it's a reputable place, it ought to have cams and either the girl's relatives ask for A review of recording or the police(this na vain prayer thot, as e no get quick cash 4 them). Hearts of humans, are indeed filled with dark motives. |
Parents, discipline ur ward. Why allow ur self to be chased? Know their movement especially those with access to rides. Stop excessive show up when with women. Don't know drink and drive. |
