hayorbaami: Finally bro. I was beginning to think the thread was a joke full of clowns. The silly comments and the likes they have amassed just left me speechless. Imagine one poster making a fuss over the word insensitive which aptly describes the man. And just like you said we wish exes who hurt us or even friends who have betrayed us happy birthday not to talk of one's spouse. Sometimes I don't think people understand what marriage is. Isn't it the height of insensitivity to ignore one's child on his or her birthday just because he misbehaved? Sometimes I think majority of nairaland men are just out to bully the womenfolk. I am saying this because I'm certain These comments would not have taken this dimension if the poster was a woman. All of a sudden everyone is interested in the other side of the story we obviously can not get (except the hubby comes around).

MissIndependent: Who Suffers Unemployment most?
From what i have observed, most Females go for jobs that can pay their Monthly bills while the Males want to hammer at all costs. They are the ones that will tell you that they cant start with a job of 40-60k Monthly they will rather wait for a job of 150-300k Monthly. The Ladies on the other hand wouldnt mind starting with less as long as it will pay all their bills at the end of the Month. From this, i think it is the reason some men stay unemployed than the women.


Who needs employment most?

Both Genders need employment because both Sexes need money!

hardbody: Winding down at about now, i have looked up Nairaland and noticed some 41 mentions with more than three-quarters of those mentions questioning or doubting the veracity of my claim, which undoubtedly i regret making in a public forum (though i remain anonymous). It is really amazing that people imagine that N2m per month is a lot of money that cannot be paid by any employer.

I do not need to prove any point here. let us allow this to slide. I know who i am, i know my qualifications, i know the number of jobs i have held down and i know the employers i talk to and the one i am currently working for. I know what i am bringing to the table, so there is really nothing to prove. For the avoidance of doubt, i know colleagues in my office that earn 70% higher than my figure. Essentially, i still feel shortchanged, but again, let us leave it that way. Maybe it should be stated here that not all NLers are recent graduates, Youth Corpers, etc. There is something called hierarchy in employment, and people grow and mature with time. Sometimes it pays to review someone's posts to enable you form an opinion as to who that person 'might be'. For those that think N24m pa is too much, please re-read that post, i said, N24m plus.....

hardbody: I did not bother to convert $46k in Nigerian Naira. I still have not. I am rather disappointed at the hue and cry about the sum i mentioned. It is a public forum, my identity remains anonymous, i need not prove anything. However some guy made a very important point, if you were to live in some parts of Lagos, and you are a tenant, how much will you be paying as house rent (or a lease)? You maintain your car(s), take care of relations, and friends, hang out, save up to travel? acquire some basic necessities to keep body and soul together?, I cringe at how people think. Again, i call it perception.

By the way, i am still available in the job market for a higher paying job.

To all muslims trying to defend Allah (swt). No one and absolutely no one can exonorate Him from all this false accusations against Him by the so called Boko Haram and 'Boko Haram'. Only He can defend Himself. The way He defended His house against the people of elephants.

Many non muslims today now mock His name just for the fun of it. Naturally, knowing that all these claims are fallacy, one tends to be incensed but I plead with all muslims to keep calm, continue to pray to Allah to clear His name and watch as events unfold. Otherwise, if a religious crisis erupts, 'Boko Haram' will have achieved thier intention.

Recently, in the same osun state, some 'Boko Haram' detonated bangers in a church only to discover they were working with thier pastor just to cast aspersion to the name of Allah (swt) when they were aprehended. imagine what would have happened if they were not caugth.
