IT IS NOT NECESSARY IF IT MAKES NO MEANING TO YOU,

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT IT MAKES SENSE TO THE OWNER OF THE WILL WHO DETERMINE HOW TO SHARE HIS PROPERTIES AND ESTATE AND NOT YOU
and does it make sense to the kids who knew only one father their whole life? huh

not to mention in the olden days when people commonly had multiple wives and nothing like DNA test, as long as your relatives knew all your wives, property was equally shared between all of them? Abi is traditional culture now invalid because the cookie is crumbling differently.

Its open knowledge that some women may bring pregnancies to polygamous men which may or may not be their own.

Nobody has raised a funk about it so far so why is it suddenly a big deal now.

It's one of the risks involved in such unions so kindly stop hyperventilating as if you dont know.

I thought the general deal was as long as there's enough money to go around, then no problem.

Many of these women in polygamous unions might not have agreed to it if they'd gain nothing at the end of the day nah. undecided

Politics › Re: Ogun Launches Babangida Campaign Team ! by tpiah: 4:29pm On Aug 23, 2010
i was about to ask if it was bisi or doyin being discussed.

imo, dna test has no place in polygamy. ie it's not necessary.

Family › Re: Jealous Aunt? by tpiah: 4:03pm On Aug 23, 2010
i'd move out if i were in that kind of situation.

since your aunt is refusing to tell you exactly what the problem is, just let her have her space.

there could be a lot of issues somewhere.

could be something to do with your mum/dad, your boyfriend's family, or just whatever.

you may never know. And there's no guarantee things wont get worse instead of better. Though of course never say never.

moreso, this is overseas, not nigeria.

kudos to knowall. I have always insists that a million female children cant be compared to just one male child. (apologies to the female folks).

Da-rocha is what the yorubas called Olowo Ana. meaning people who were once rich. may God not make us Olowo Ana.
also business people should always evolve their businesses, they should always look for new ways of doing things, and also divesting into new ventures. Govt policies at times changes your fortune either for better or worse.
please keep quiet before you embarass yourself further.

I am not having a go at this family,
KnowAll:
Could it be that this gentleman died a pauper having once being the richest man in Nigeria for such a saying" do you think I am Da Rocha" to have become so popular. Was it as a result of their father's extravegance and consequent poverty the family members felt embarass and they decided to jettison the name for something else. I would not want to have a surname like "Anini OR Dimka" neither. undecided

i am currently in the process of convincing some of my american friends to invest in Nigeria. The only problem is they are scared because of the cost they might incure to set up the investments. i try my best to tell them that most nigerians are retarded and the challenges they face with getting safety permits for standards in the US don't apply here. In a nutshell, you can pretty much get away with murder. They still don't believe. Maybe i should introduce them to Nairaland so that they can witness some of the remarks by so called educated posters who blame victims and not the organization. Yes!! that is what i will do. I wonder why i didn't think of that before?
i think you should stop claiming nigeria because people like you are the ones giving the country a bad image, with your jungle mindset which defies all attempts at civilization.
