missyadorable:
How can a man complain about being offered sex?
something they always want
something they do every possible thing to have?

A man complaining of molestation with sex is a mad man.....

Period
seriously?!!!!

Thank you, it's my first time applying to a Norway school (undergrad), from what I saw on the University of Nord's website you have to sort out your accomodation yourself they only link to their student housing website outside that nothing but they also noted that, you will have to proof you have somewhere to stay while applying for Visa if granted admission. Hence the part about my uncle, my question was, if I can use his residence as a proof? considering the fact that he lives in Oslo and Nord university is in Bodo.
Undergrad?!! nice one. while I am baffled as to how you intend getting over the Norwegian language requirement, I feel you need to send an e-mail to your school.

Well done sir, please did you apply for the student home before you residence permit and Visa approved, I am applying to the nord also, but my Uncle lives in Oslo, I want to know if I can use his house until I get into Norway. Anyone that knows about this should reply me please.
This your questions is not coherent, I'll try my best:

Most schools I know require you to indicate to them if you'll not require the accomodation they'll offer you one you've been admitted.
the residence permit comes first before the accomodation, to the best of my knowledge.

the part about your uncle is lost to me.

I know someone who proposed the first day of meeting his wife.

Man: my name is Charles, I like you, and want to marry you. give me an answer and I'll bring my people next week. Yes or no before I go.

he started his car and was about to drive off......saw her running towards him, and stopped..

Woman: yes!!!

they're happily married now with kids.
RomanceRe: To Avoid Headache, Marry Virgin!! by trilobite: 6:25pm On Sep 24, 2017
in this century with the advent of tightening creams and hymen repair surgeries, people are still looking for virgins?

They are not scarce, but everywhere. All she has to do is say:

I AM A VIRGIN.

Its impossible to prover her wrong these days. Look beyond, what will matter when you're grey with your wife is not sex, but whether she gives you normal or high BP.

All names must correspond. If your Waec has 2 names, you passport must be 2 names also.
ha!! I'm already too far gone for that. problem is the waec. passport and other certs have three names.
can't the problem be solved by submitting a court affidavit to the schools?
TravelRe: Please Help!!! Passport Issues by trilobite: 8:58pm On Sep 23, 2017
JeffreyJamez:
You will surely need an affidavit. And your number 4. To avoid complications make sure the name on your certificate is the same with your international passport. I lost my SAT scholarship back in 2006 just because of a one letter mistake in my name on my waec result.
One letter?!! what if the Waec only has first and last names while other docs have a middle name apart from the two?
HealthRe: How Nigerians Are Drinking Their Own Poo - Aroms Aigbehi Reveals by trilobite: 7:55pm On Sep 22, 2017
The Op has a point just that his post is too shallow. He should have also talked about chemical pollution.

The bacteria pollution of groundwater is easily avoided if some conditions are met:

1. A very well dug borehole: That is ensuring that the presence of an artesian aquifer before installation. for instance if the borehole was obtained from a fresh basement (ignesous rock) aquifer or a sandstone layer sandwiched between thick layers of shale.

2. Proper distance of separation from sewage disposal sites.

3. proper installation to block of entrance of surface water.

sadly these conditions are hardly met as geologists are becoming corrupted as their politician clients. irony of life.

thanks a lot Trilobite...I sincerely appreciate...I guess am calling it a wrap for Norway...I can't afford 5m...apparently borrowing is not a nice option either...Thanks anyway
Yeah its much. You're in the same boat with a lot of people. its either the CGP requirement is too high or no money. worst residency after study completion is no longer guaranteed. Reason why Norway is no longer attractive for a lot of immigrants.

I remember one school still looking for students to fill one of their courses around this past July. That's asking people to apply!! it was funny. With the nationalist mentality sweeping Europe I expect Norway to come up with more stringent anti immigrant moves.

God help us.

Christianity EtcRe: Do Money Rituals Actually Work? by trilobite: 8:06pm On Sep 16, 2017
Not money rituals, try " confraternity rituals". Nigeria has confraternity or secret societies most of which require certain ceremonial rites be carried out before you join.

It is not the ritual that brings the money, it is the connections made within such confraternities that do.

Members who are already highly placed ensure new entrants are well taken care of. Thing is, its very difficult to get in as an outsider as memberships usually are hereditary.

note that the same applies to confraternities in developed western countries. Although I am yet to hear of any that requires human sacrifice over there.

Not sure. Should be specified on their application page, but I think most require them to be sent directly from your institution. I would probably ask them directly and explain the situation about this strike sef.
as in eh!!! thanks for the idea. Please I implore applicants to bombard these schools with mails explaining the transcript situation right now, may be we (Nigerian applicants) can be given special dispensation.

God help us!!!

Yes, you must send them within the deadline as they are a part of your application. They can't consider your application without all the required documentation. They don't require hard-copies from all countries, but they do for Nigerians for the most part.
Do any have objections to applicants sending it themselves, provided its sealed?

After all the planning and effort, these people will just allow devil to use them. Christian or Muslim, if you went to a public school, start praying!!!

as in serious Prayer that they call it off soon.

Just out of interest - how do you plan on paying your expenses if you're not yourself in posession of the required funds?

From time to time it appears a few posts that want to circumvent the rules. Technically speaking, 100k NOK is below the povery line set by the Norwegian government. In order words, students are often considered to be poor. Consider for a minute what this actually entails.

First of all, it entails that you have very little in terms of purchasing power. Indeed I find this to be true: After having bought food and other necessities, you are left with very little. Should any unexpected expenses arise you do not have a whole lot to go on.

I recommend no one to attempt circumventing the requirements or borrowing money you do not have. You will arrive to an extremely miserable experience. The requirements are there for a reason.

With that said, I am sure that the sponsor's money will not be transfered back to his or hers account, but directly to a Norwegian bank account in your name only after the disposal into the university's account. The sole condition where the money will be transfered back is if you don't start studying. So let's not spread misinformation.
welcome back sir!!!

I've been following this trend. Thanks for this great platform.

I have HND (DISTINCTION, 3.57/4.00) and PGD (CGPA of 5.4/7.0) from University of Ibadan, both in Statistics. I would like to apply for an MSc degree in Statistics in any school in Norway. Plz what are my chances and which schools can you suggest? Thanks alot.
HND CGP is great. I still don't know if its recognized by Norwegian schools though.

If affirmative, then you have a very food chance as your course is not competitive.
