That NNPC exam was legit. High scorers were recruited. I feel that was the last time they were serious about recruitment before it became 100% man know man.

An explanation on how boreholes can lead to a tremor:

Let's say you have a stable basement rock formation beneath an estate. Now the residents of that estate (say 1000 houses) decide to drill borholes to get water.

Now borhole company contracted decide to target water flowing via fractures (subsurface cracks) in that basement rock.
So you have 1000 boreholes all drilled into one formation. Now what happens is the fractures which were one stable start loosing their stability because the stored stress withing the rock is dying to be released.
This (after an uncertain period) causes displacement, and release of seismic energy which disturbs the earth (the tremors).

Follow this advice!! You cannot force a hoe to retire, she has to do it by her choice. Tell and show her what she stands to lose if she goes back to her past.

Just got the rejection mail from NTNU. Stated that:

"Admission to this program requires a minimum of 30 ECTS in mathematics and statistics?".

Which is confusing because:

My math courses totalled 8, while my statistic courses totalled 4 on the Nigerian credit unit scale. Making a sum total of 12 Nigerian credit units.

Please can anyone here explain this is not equal to the 30 ECTS required?
