Gidson05: Chinese Government Scholarship application in Nigeria is kind of complicated. I applied this year online and was asked to submit hard copy documents at the embassy but on reaching the embassy I was told that there is nothing of such, that Chinese Government Scholarship is a bilateral agreement between Chinese government and the Nigerian government therefore, federal scholarship board is incharge of the nomination process. But there was nothing of such on FSB website. It was a total waste of time and resources. It has categories!! What you focused on was the embassy category (i believe called type A). The category you should have forced on was the one that required you to apply to the CSC website which gives you a form you submit to your school. No FSB or embassy nonsense required. You apply and hope for the best. If you're lucky you'll be there with those got type A. I have several mates there now!! Google, learn, and do it yourself. Browse any Chinese university and check their CSC scholarship application process. Almost all schools will request for hard copies of your application documents which you must post to them. So use this period to get them all ready before next year. The FSB handles type A applications only, type B is handled by the universities and CSC. Know the difference!! This is the link for Central South University china CSC scholarship process for this year which has passed: http://en.csu.edu.cn/info/1039/1916.htmOther schools have theirs. I'm really surprised many people don't know about this!! |

stamapro: Tell me more, really interested. How do you mean " don't use agents" Pls explain Google the scholarship and learn how to apply on your own. It's pretty easy, you don't need anyone to apply for you. Start from now to: 1. Browse Chinese schools offering your course. 2. If the course falls under the scholarship or any other scholarship offered by the school. 3. Prepare your application documents. 4. Look for a Chinese supervisor (not mandatory but will help if you made 2.2) preferably before the year ends. GET STARTED!! |

Go to Benin Republic, graduate, do your NYSC, and leave this country. |

My point is that there are other states one needs to consider. I know a guy who started with a small job (wage within 100k range) in one state was able to save and build a house in his home state. The op is 60% right on his estimates.
Some Jabi, Apo self contain can be obtained for not more than 350k depending on your luck. Both areas have stable light and water that comes direct from waterboard.
However a self-contain in adamawa with Standby generator(from 7PM -11PM), tiles, and a kitchen, going for just 60K made me realize Abuja is not a place to start your life. |

They need 116k nok payment for visa. considering my admission for the same petroleum geocience in texas is 30k usd a year then 20k for upkeep which is 50k and 20m in naira per year and for 2 years 40m. Best case scenario 30 to 35m cos I dont have funding/scholarship
If I study and do things right I hope to secure a job within that 1 year. As I am reading online Stavanger is the oil and gas exploration capital of europe and I hope things fall into place.
Are you currently in UIS? Chase that US study visa hard. Norway should be your last option. |

Like I will just collect my appointment letter and start working? If no, will there be a special training for those replaced or will they train together with those employed via recruitment. Thanks I don't care who you are, or who you know, YOU WILL GO FOR TRAINING!!! Even the son of the emir of Kano went to police academy. Replacement recruits also go for training (same duration as open recruits), anyone saying otherwise doesn't know what he's talking about. Theirs take place in the year of their recruitment (yes, the camp is always busy!!) just that it will be hidden from public perception. Paramilitary bodies don't joke with it at all!! |

Zerlo: Hi, please can u (and others with the experience) explain to me the process of replacement exercise in Nigerian paramilitary services. Can one get an appointment letter without attending a test or interview? Is the appointment letter issued by the federal character commission after approval by d agency involved?
I need prompt and informed response pls. Replacement is done behind close doors in the civil service, and is done yearly based on slots shared between top officials. The appointment letter is usually collected after a screening exercise is conducted, though it is skipped at times. Last i checked it is issued by the agency involved. It should bear your full names and carry the stamp and signature of the head of the agency. Note: Usually Signed with his pen!! Knew someone who made a mistake on his name, and had to take it back for the man to sign again. That's the all from me. |

ghostwritter: Due to my past experiences about Nigeria Federal jobs and Nairaland, this is what will later happen. By the time the final list eventually comes out, the few chosen on nairaland will not talk about it because they won't want you to know and the very few that does will not go into details on how much they spent on getting it or their strong connections. Those chosen will already be in camps before it hits nairaland. The unfortunate ones will find it hard to believe and insult the federal government and Buhari as if he cares. And later they will forget about it. Before you know it again, another NPS application will be on going and another thread will be opened for it making this present one irrelevant. Many of you will be frustrated about the country about her failed system...and many might want to lash it out on God. Many might be thinking suicide, they will think they have bad luck with jobs, thinking they will die poor while their mate's succed in life. Many will be pushed into settling for entrepreneurship and end up being millionaires in later years. They will thank God they never were chosen for NPS.
TRUST ME...THERE IS FAR MORE WHAT GOD HAS GOT FOR OUR LIVES THAN WHAT WE THINK. 1 million likes!!! The purpose of the threads is to share information. Leave the connected braggers to make senseless noise and get the information you came for. Life is a race, run yours wisely. |

While the friend was wrong to send you on am errand, i suspect your reaction to both him and your husband is what led to this situation.
You must have been aggressive to both men and challenged their egos. Men don't like that. You need to learn to achieve control by being humble and respectful even if you disagree with them.
Call the friend and apologize in the presence of your husband and watch the both of them more closely before he ruins your marriage. Be humble, respectful, careful, and smart. |

barbwire2: So I met this girl in school through a female friend, the friend was my neighbor though. So one night she invited her friend over for a nite and after that night the girl in question started asking me out and she made sure that i cut ties with that my neighbor. We started dating afterwards nd wd both broke up from our current relationshipz then. But after a month that was when my wahala started, her phone got spoilt some days to her birthday a2nd i gave her mine to use in order to post pictures and invite friends too because she wanted to celebrate it, little did i know dat she was sending nudes and also wanted to go fetch with a politician in town to raise money for the birthday. After i found out she cried and pleaded for forgiveness nd truth is i myself i cried cause I was devastated, but I still forgave her and even sponsored the birthday myself. After dat three months after i went through her gbwhatsapp and discovered she hid some chats, I was able to decode the password and lo and behold she has been sending nudes to several other men and even traveled on a Sunday to havs unprotected sex with one of them and she was planning on going again, the same Sunday she left my room claiming to go to church. I was shocked in my anus. She cried and begged but I found it hard to forgive her which I eventually did but it took me months to get over it because sometimes i would just chat her up and tell her it's over because I can't harbor the pains anymore, she would plead nd beg and she even involved my friends and my siblings to help her beg. Hmmm. E no easy. I got over that and warned her that the next time she repeats same I would post her nudes online and tell the world both on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter anx and even here on nairaland. But she assured me she had changed. Now my greatest fear was that because she was into pageantry and she currently is the face of culture and tourism for one of these pageantry stuffs she would find it difficult to resist this men that will always ask for sex before any sort of sponsorship. Hmmm. Hmmm. During the ASUU strike we all went home and i was relieved that she would stay clear from these useless men but omo right there at home she still cheated again o. She met her childhood friend and he came to visit her, and whilst they were together in the house alone she threw herself at him and started kissing this dude. And in her chats she was like she couldn't hold herself back anymore, she was soo into him and had to kiss him.. Darn. I was heart broken for the umpteenth time. I called her friend who stays in the same street with her to help me describe the dude and the discription was pathetic. Soo my girlfriend is a LovePeddler and a nympho? I couldn't believe dis. Darn.. I confronted her and all she does is beg, cry, fall sick. Just as usual. Am so done with her cheating ass but she keeps begging. My ex is willing to take me back but this my girlfriend aka olosho is calling and threatening her. See me see case o. Wetin man go do... This story is big reason why you should never believe what you see on the internet till you get the full picture!! Are you in a position to demand her loyalty, A.K.A are you ready for marriage any time soon? The answer I believe is a very big NO!! So why are you crying fake tears here? She cheated, she is a slut/olosho, we know!! But since you are not in a position to demand any woman's loyalty it is senseless to cry when they prove to be disloyal. Chop your own (which you have) and let her be!! |
Family › Re: My Mother In Law Attitude by trilobite: 11:44am On Mar 22, 2019 |
crackhaus: It's your wife with the character issues here, not her mother, although going by how her mother also acts, you can see the apple didn't fall too far from the tree.
Sorry about your predicament. You're like a soldier that was dropped in enemy territory, surrounded on all sides by unfriendly fire. You can either surrender and become a prisoner of war, or you can maneuver your way and outsmart the enemy at every turn by making them come to you and play by your rules.
Do not engage the enemy directly, I repeat, DO NOT engage the enemy directly. You can never win a woman (your wife) in a shouting match or in direct confrontation, they are built for that. What they are not built for is mental warfare.
Be unpredictable, run circles around her, change your routine and keep changing it every week, be fluid - act like you don't care about anything she does, then one day, act like you do, then go back to acting like you don't care again. Kiss her goodbye on her lips for three straight days and genuinely hold her affectionately while you do it, then for the next one week after that, don't even bother hugging her. Your wife will definitely go about her normal routine of reporting everything to her mom, except this time, she will also be reporting your change of routine and how unpredictable you've become. This will also put her mother on edge cos she too won't know how to relate with you anymore, she will want to be more careful. If your wife tries to start a fight, and she will, cos she is trying to gain some control, please keep her quiet and smile. Don't quarrel, don't exchange words, don't even leave the house. Stay in that house, stay in the same room and just keep acting like no one is talking. When she's done, tell her to come closer and kiss her deeply. In fact, make love to her but make sure you cum quickly, she must not cum. Finish quickly and leave her hanging, go to bed or go do something else. Don't even cuddle afterwards, that's her punishment and she will understand it.
About your daughter, don't change her school yet, if staying at your mother-in-laws' reduces the financial burden, then please leave her there at least for now. Any move you make on your daughter now will be seen as retaliation, it shows they are getting to you. In mental warfare, the enemy must never realize they are getting to you. If your MIL wants to be thanked, then by all means, thank her and visit her (actually its your daughter you're visiting, but tell her she's the one you came to see). Do that until the day you're ready to take your daughter out of there and when that day comes, do it suddenly - just go there, pick her up and leave, she's your daughter.
Your mother-in-law's attitude to you is based SOLELY on how your wife talks about you with her. Your wife is your primary target, not her mother.
Cheers... God will bless you for this!!! Man did not reveal his to you. Saved!! |

She would always brag and tell me how much she was making from men in the University, while i would always tell her she would feel small if she visited Abuja. She took my advice and did her six-month internship there.
Seeing each other on resumption, baby girl couldn't stop shouting "Trilobite!!! Abuja girls are prostitutes!!!", "Come and see prostitution!!!". The irony was very funny.

My definition of intelligence is an ability to solve any problem you encounter. Be it conflict, books, etc.
Male: The overall best student in my set. This guy is a super computer. He is friendly, accommodating, and always knew what to do or say. This combined with his academic brilliance made me look up to him.
Female: A girl who was a wide reader. Kept telling her she could make first class in anything she studied. Academically brilliant, and had this ability to make everyone speechless when she spoke. Always had the best advice for any problem her friends had. Though she initially got carried away (like most women) with the numerous men chasing her, she's now focused and doing very well now in her business. |
