Nigerian researchers are all bubbling with ideas but the facilities don't exist. You expect a civil servant married with kids to raise the millions required to send his samples abroad for proper analysis?

The labs we have here either belong in the past or the efficient equipment operators don't exist. One University imported one equipment and quickly dumped it when they realized they couldn't get someone to operate it. Millions just turned to waste.

I remember one man who did his analysis in Russia but while the Nigerian government ignored him, the Russians used his data to make a revolutionary drilling fluid.

That's why you see most of them becoming politicians after so many years of frustration.

While Nigerian undergraduate geologists are being taught what GPR is and what it is used for, their colleagues in the UK are being taught GPR data interpretation. Something a Nigerian geophysics PHD can't even comprehend.

Frustrated dude I mentioned did his thesis on CCS, and was recognized for it over there in the UK. Nigeria has no plans whatsoever for such technology, so you can imagine his frustration. . We'll loose him soon enough.

I know Nigerian UK PhD holders some lecturing there some came back (one planning to go back again for lecturing due to nepotism frustration). Don't look down too much on your country. We don't have the facilities but we have the brains.

A friend of mine was a very good pianist. Dude was always called by different fellowships to play for them. Anytime he did he noticed the girls would always focus on him.

The problem us you're taking a formal approach to this. It is not an exam or job interview. The answer to this question differs for each man.

While one man may be looking for a woman who offers sound financial management, another may be looking for a woman who offers an ability to care and be a shoulder to lean on etc.

It differs.

One thing women should know is most men don't ask this question formally, the question usually gets broken down into a series of questions in the course of any friendship or relationship.

1. I learnt there is no CSC for medicine students, best hope is a provincial scholarship (shanghai, Beijing, etc) which pays yearly.

The remaining questions can be answered if you scrutinize websites of Chinese schools and know their application procedure which could differ for each school.


To everyone here: GOOGLE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND. Dedicate time daily, even if an hour or 2 no matter your busy schedule and browse away. Reason why many stay away from this thread is because majority of questions asked are lazy questions people can get themselves.

Get a government scholarship and do your PHd = promotion.

In ten years (if you're serious and smart) you become a professor earning close to a MIL in a secured job.

Be sure you have gotten the job first though.
