FamilyRe: Why Is Divorce Not An Option For Most Nigerian Women? by troy20(m): 12:04am On Nov 07, 2013
The most powerful role model in a child's life is the parent of the same sex. The most well known example is Chris Brown whose mother let her boyfriend abuse her in presence of her son. Chris Brown later said that he hated the man so much he wished he had a gun as a kid. He wanted to kill him. Fast forward a couple of years in the future and he brutally assaults Rihanna even though the thought of a man putting his hands on his mother sent such a rage through him he wanted to murder the man. Does his mother have some responsibility? Sure. She taught her son that it is okay to stay with a man that did things like that thereby passing on the message that spousal abuse is not such a bad thing. At the end of the day the person we should focus on is the adult who chose to put his hands on someone else. I have never seen a man that came from a family were women were respected and treated no less than men that just get up and start hitting females. They usually learn it from their fathers or male figures of authority in their lives.
wel the human brain and mind dnt process things that way.as we grow we become more thoughtfull, logical, experienced...an adult wouldnt simply abuse a woman just because daddy did it to mum 20yrs ago.if i could still process things that way then i never left childhood.

lorretta u: Pls no body should try to give me reasons why a woman caused her own abuse. It's just inexcusable.
As for women maltreating their house helps, everybody condemns that.and there is serious fight in place to stop it.I wish that same fight will be in place to stop marital abuse.

As for mothers creating monsters. That really has me laughing. So men have no role to play in raising their kids? Really?
So they end up wife beaters and it's the mother's fault?
How about thinking they learned it from their brute fathers?
What exactly is the role of men in the family?
I'm really curious to know. (Cos I used to think great fathers raised greater sons) Or are they only sperm donors and money providers( which most of them aren't even doing anyway.)
They don't have parental and guidance roles to play? (I don't wanna think that)
Someone pls educate me

Since everything is now the fault of the woman.
you call women battering of child helpers maltreatment? even when there are reported cases of murder thats hard not to be percieved as cold blooded?a man doesnt become a monster 4rm watching daddy abuse mumy.because that man will grow deep resentment for the dad instead and in most cases stop him go figure.that man could only develop resentment if he was abused and breeds that hate towards the source of his pain.that man...that monster today was physicaly, emotionaly, psycologically abused by a woman...a mother.women are capable of unimaginable evil.and you look like you have deep seethed hatred for men.
FamilyRe: Why Is Divorce Not An Option For Most Nigerian Women? by troy20(m): 7:15pm On Nov 06, 2013
yea physical abuse on women shouldnt be tolerated but so are any other form of domestic violence.Alota people underestimate a womans third degree ability for violence and abuse.alota young children live endengerd lives in homes that arnt thier parents as househelps.there have been reported cases where the've been battered to death by madams of these homes and its been on the rise for long now.its still a case of domestic violence.an abuse or even murder on a young 8 to 12 year olds is savagery of the worst kind.who stands for this ravaged kids from poor homes? None.i mean we have child labour and abuse laws but hw effective has it ever been.there are thousands of daily unreported abuse cases.go to alota homes and you cant imagine the evils these women are capable of on these child helpers or maids.many dont even experience the basics of any form of education unlike these madams children they look after.and thats hugely understating the gory experiences.
FamilyRe: Why Is Divorce Not An Option For Most Nigerian Women? by troy20(m): 1:24pm On Nov 06, 2013
violence is intolerable but no man finds it anywhere easy or appealing to raise a hand on a woman even if they had an experience of abuse with their mothers. An abusive mother made that monster

And why do i feel this is a made up story just to switch the focus and negative stories back to men maybe for once.

Christianity EtcRe: Where Are The Christians Who Act Like Christ ? by troy20(m): 9:13am On Nov 04, 2013
As ambiguous as religion and their various dogma is, one thing has always been true actions convey any message. As pastors...we talk too much.fine empty words, complex idealistic languages,we shout, scream, all to create awe, hightened image of ourselvse to our audience on the pulpit...but where is the message.all we get are people who come out entertained but again where is the message.how many people walk out of that church aiming to be christlike, christianshuh None cause that was not the message that day...it never was.its all the more for what we can get.the checks our sowed seeds has written which our blessings cant wait to cash.
Abeg no mind them. If they criminalise bullying then most children who live in face me slap you should have been forgotten in jail. I remember in pry school when i was beaten at least 5 times in a week and the remaining two means daddy isnt around. I remembered the day i was beaten and blood came from my eyes. Did i died? Did i commit suicide? Infact it made me stronger. Waking up at midnight to be beaten in the school. I just look back and laugh. Remebered beating somebody and he cant even eat during easter just because he wanted to use our bowl for ball. I just laugh it off now when i think of it.
dude i can relate to that midnight beating by seniors in d boarding house.we would b woken up at night n lined up like captured slaves of war and senior students (who got pissd by d school authorities) as they wish will take turns with different objects on us.it waz terrible i remember running into a nepa wire connectd 4rm d pole 2 d ground just 2 b on time 4 my punishment i kno no reason y n it bounced me bak with force cause i waz stil sleepy at night.and no teacher or people living close cause d school waz located inside a deep forest.gss bwari abuja waz worse than an army barrack then.i waz always scared n nervous bt it hardened me up.i became murderous on any percievd inferior or even superior then.

Bigdreams: Hi all,

I have decided to give free of charge the NIS past questions I bought from Oluwacolded. All I did after buying it from him was to rearrange and put everything together in one single document instead of the three different documents I received from him. I have not included any promotional message in it to serve as a marketing bait.

Oluwacolded, I am the youth corps member who called you from Katsina on Monday and purchased the past questions from you. I do not intend to stop your business at all rather I simply feel that so many people might not be able to spare that N1,000 you asked for. Please, I am sorry if this offends you as I do not intend to intend to do so. You can also download this one, you might also find it useful.

I did not register for the NIS at all as I'm not interested but feel that lots of other people who registered would benefit if they have the past questions. Please, kindly forward to others that you know are in need once you receive it. To give is more blessed than to receive.

I'll be dropping the link here once I upload it to a free file hosting service.

I wish you success in your endeavours.

Thanks.
Bigdreams abeg send am 4 me anytnblue@yahoo.com

annfeliks: Please my fellow NL, enough of all this bickering and insult you reign upon urselves

@oluwacolded, u r the reason why people are abusing you by saying that 2 out of the 3 past questions are fake. If u check my quote, that was what triggered me to quote you

@ Bigdreams you are indeed a blessing to those that couldn't afford the money.

To all those who have gotten the past questions and have gone through them please I need some brainstorming on some questions e.g

In maths,
No 7, I got B (3) but the ans in d past question recieved says its A
No 18, I got A but PQ says C
No37, I got B (24secs) buh PQ says C
No 40, I got A (5) but PQ says C
Then I couldn't get num 6, 8, 11, 24, 30 and 36

In English,
No 19 I think B is the ans nt A
No 27 I also think A is d ans not B
Though am nt perfect in english. Any oda suggestion/ans/correction is appreciated

In Current Affairs
In No 5, as there is a new development, the number of CGs till date has increased to 13. HINT: Read NIS newsletter from their website

No 44 should be reviewed again.
Thanks
pls help a brother anytnblue@yahoo.com jah bless
