The government should just look for the cheapest available test kits and make it compulsory for all Nigerians to be tested within a specified period. Those tested negative will be given a permit or pass to move freely. Those who have not been tested will be arrested, isolated and tested before they can be released. The Sowore sit at home protest doesn't make sense to me. It's not different from the lockdown. |
From now on requisition for fund should be accompanied with detailed breakdown of how the fund is intended to be used. You will be surprised to hear that a bed will cost 50 million naira. Our leaders are thieves. They are always looking for opportunities to loot. They don't call millions anymore. All projects are now in billions. Even digging of graves have to be in billions. The grass cutter scam is even a small issue. From now on, all projects are in billions. Even hospital syringe will be bought with billions. Paracetamol will be bought with billions. Hell awaits you all. |
Which Ramada? I advise every wise person to start relocating from Kano because Kano will soon be the New York of Nigeria on Coronavirus. Mecca their Holy city is on complete lockdown. This Governor thinks it may not infect him. We are watching. |
They can extend the lockdown if they can give at least 100k to every needy Nigerians and give them 2 days to shop under strict adherence to safety measures. All the billionaires should donate for this course otherwise they also will not be spared when the spread reaches overwhelming rate. |
At least he is good in music. He is not a complete dullard. Music is a lucrative career. He should encourage him in that line. He might be one of the new music star. |
How much does the test kits really cost and what does it take to open new test centres? If the two cost mentioned above is within our income, why can't we do it. Open test centres in every States and get more test kits. Employ and train more people. Test as much as 100,000 per day. This is the only way to curb the spread. Otherwise we might end up spending more money at the end than the money we are trying to hold back. They should try and suspend corruption and invest all the monies raised so far to fight the spread. Italy stated with 5 cases and within 5 weeks it rose to over 80,000. Our corrupt leaders should please leave greed aside and do the needful to save Nigerians. They should not think that the money they are stealing will save them when the spread becomes overwhelming. |
Nigerians resident in other countries are receiving palliatives in hundreds of thousands and they keep making noise with 20 k we can't even see. Corrupt and wicked government. |
Delay tactics. Over 80% of Nigerians are poor. Only about 5-10%are living in comfort. About 5% controls 95% of the nation's wealth. God will punish this wicked government for pretending not to know that they have made Nigeria the poverty headquarter of the world. |
karkinase:We are rich. Even internally generated revenue is huge but only a few percent goes to the government. I remember the new JAMB boss declared a revenue last year they generated which is more than 20 times that generated by the previous boss. The same goes with our ports. Most of the import duties are not reflected in the government account. What about NNPC? do you know how much is loss daily through the dubious activities of unscrupulous people? About $20 billion was missing during Allison Madueke tenure as the Petroleum minister. Even the daily revenue collected from transporter does not reflect in the government account. Even NEPA that charges bill from users don't record same in their final report. Corruption is running our economy. Why can't our refineries work? Because they are benefiting from the current system of refining the product outside the country. |
Nigeria money is only meant for a few thieves. This country is very rich but our polithiefians loot our monies. Even the revenue we generate is more than ten times what they declare. Over 80% goes to private pocket. This will be confirmed the day we have an honest President. |
It is more risky to put on face mask if it is not replaced on a daily basis. Secondly, it could be infected without knowing it. Besides, people don't have money to eat, you want them to put on face mask. How is it possible? Government should provide the face mask first, at least 30 per person and it should not be from China. I don't trust them. |
dayorich:It goes beyond the grave. The grave only accommodates the body. The soul of the lost goes to hell while those who are saved goes to heaven. And only faith in the finished work of Christ saves us. |
HisSexcellency:You analysis is correct. I smell lies by a government whose native language is lie. |
ValCon888:Crazy analysis. It's no longer funny. |
Reno has joined in the lies to deceive Nigeria. The man that read the last broadcast doesn't look like Buhari to me. Did they tie the eyes of Nigerians? His voice sounds quiet different. Even the one that read covik 19 looks quite different. How many Buharis do we have? This government owes us explanation. |
They should please tell us the value of their trip to planet earth. What did they discover that could be of benefit to us? |
This burial has set a bad precedent. They have no right from this time henceforth to arrest anyone conducting a burial ceremony with such number of crowd. |
When the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. The blood of countless thousands of Christians slaughtered under the watchful eyes of these leaders is crying for vengeance and more will go except they repent of the wickedness perpetrated against Christians in the north. Herdsmen will kill, there will be no single arrest but kill a cow, so many people will be arrested. Herdsmen will kill, they will call it herdsmen farmers clash. Herdsmen will kill, they will compensate them with money instead of prosecuting them. The truth is bitter but it must be told. |
ignis:How do you expect someone who has no food to eat to seat at home? Sit at home and die? Don't you know there are so many people who don't earn salary and they depend on daily pay. The western countries you are comparing Nigeria with give palliatives to their citizens including foreigners. Some Nigerians living in Italy got money worth over 300,000 naira to sit at home. What has your Nigeria government done? I pray you don't find yourself in the situation so many Nigerians are, otherwise you won't talk this way. I don't advocate for lawlessness but when you have not eaten for days and you are expected to sit at home, it is wickedness. My heart bleeds for Nigeria because our leaders are corrupt and wicked. Before the order to sit at home is given, if they are sensible, they ought to make provisions for those whose business will be shut and those who don't have anything to fall back on. |
They have finally acknowledged he is dead. When will they officially announce the dead of the other one who died since 2017. I didn't call any name ooo. I know the wise ones know who I am talking about. |
glowingflame7:They don't believe in God. If they do, they will invite men of God who believe in divine healing to come and pray for them to be healed. Jesus is still alive and no case is hopeless before him. At the mention of his name every knee shall bow. Instead of inviting men of God, they are busy humiliating them. |
In the real sense, why are oil workers exempted from the lock down? Is the lockdown only for the poor? The federal government should please answer this question. |
Science has failed, let's try God. God never fails. |
Account for the monies meant for the poor this period. This is the worst government in the history of Nigeria. May their remaining days be shortened. |
Final cure will certainly come for God has given man the power to subdue right from the day man was created. |
Don't be surprised that those who need it didn't get it. I hope more is coming because this won't last more than four days for a family of two persons. Maybe one week for one person. |
May his blood be upon our leaders who divert the monies meant for the poor this period. |
It's not a news that some of them work together with these criminals. I will not forget Inspector Iyamu of Benin city who supplied arms to armed robbers in his days. We still have many of such security personnel in Nigeria. |
It is her fundamental human right to air her opinion. She should be released immediately. They have no right to arrest her. Useless government. |
Even with the figures given, it is still a far cry compared with our population. The money has been diverted and maybe the Senate and house of Representatives have gotten their share, hence they are quiet about it. All these thieves will not go unpunished and they will not die well for eating the monies meant for the poor at this critical time. |
A sensible country should deploy police and other security personnel to Lagos and other vulnerable States in large numbers to check the activities of these hoodlums. You don't lock down the state and keep the people at the mercy of hoodlums. |
I doubt if the police in Nigeria have proper training materials. The entire police force needs to be overhauled. Something is not just right. |
