To me, this is the blood itself also.
They are the main parts that makes up the blood. Eg, red blood, white blood.

But the extractions from platelet are different extractions and are not the main blood component this i think are different issues from the main blood parts.

So, when you bunch every every as fractions, it is not as clear as you put it "blood fractions", there are differences and parts extractions.

So, making an absolute statement that the JW dont take blood fractions is not entirely correct.

It depends on the parts of the fractions.
So it is a yes and a no.

2. On the issue of organ tramsplant the JW dont have an order for that just as the bible does not.

IT IS A MATTER OF INDIVIDUAL CONSCIENCES.

I believe that will put this issues to rest.
I had to confirm those to clear this issues up.

MyJoe: I have not read the posts above properly but I have skimmed portions of them. This is typical JW hypocrisy in full blast and it would have been better if Barristers had shut up than post this.

Facts: The RC and the JW churches have both had child abuse problems. It is clearly more serious in the Catholic Church - but there are over a billion Catholics as against 7million JW. Both churches have been accused of coverups and putting church's reputation above victims' interest. Both have made out of court settlements and court-ordered payouts. So where is the moral high ground? Is it the fact a Cardinal has admitted the problem as enlarged by Barristers somewhere above, something the JW leadership do not have the decency to do?

To be sure, I agree that the mistakes of an individual should not be blamed on his church wholesale and I am careful about apportioning blames in this matter, but the JW has no moral high ground here and Barristers should shut ug. Anybody who wants to understand the problem of child abuse in both churches should disregard the jaundice above and do their research with an open mind.

Just like everyone else,sometimes I deny and rationalise my misdeeds, sometimes I feel guilty and sorry for them, most times I do my best to make amends and atone for my misdeeds.

The boy scout creed of doing at least one good deed everyday seems to be more important to me than most religious creeds.

The Rotary club's 4-way test is for me, a very good moral and ethical guide upon which to build and sustain a positive life, and by extension,a positive society.

The Rotary club's 4-way test;

1. Is is the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendship?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

OLAADEGBU: A young woman teacher with obvious liberal tendencies explains to her class of small children that she is an atheist. She asks her class if they are atheists too. A beautiful girl named Lucy has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks why she has decided to be different.

"So,"

asks the teacher,

"what are you?"

"A Christian"

The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Lucy why she thinks she is a Christian.

"Well, I was brought up knowing and loving Jesus. My mum is a Christian and, my dad is a Christian, I also accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour and I know I'm a Christian."

The teacher is visibly angry now.

"That's no reason,"

she says loudly,

"What if your mum had been a mo-ron and, your dad had been a mo-ron. What would that make you then?"

After a pause, and a smile.

"Then,"

says Lucy,

"that would make me an atheist."
