Where does the quran warn you against alcohol, stealing, fornication? I'm very keen to know. God knows you are being deceived and that is why He sent us to tell you what we are telling you. I pray you will realize the truth the reasonable people knew and rejected islam according to your quran. But why are you running away from the questions I put before you? Lack of idea of what to say? Allah is not the God of the Bible for a number of reasons: 1. Bible God has a Son and children but Allah does not have. 2. Allah ordained his faithfuls to experience Hellfire first but God save His children through Jesus from Hellfire. 3. God's Jesus said a man is entitled to one wife and no divorcement save for fornication. Allah said a man can marry as many as 4 wivies, divorce them at will and sleep with slave women. 4. Jesus said he that marries a divorced woman commits adultery but Allah authorized the take-over of another man's wife including wife of adopted son. 5. God of the Bible says everybody must repent and forsake sins before getting to heaven but Allah's quran talks about forgiveness of sins without repentance and forsaking. It fails to mention the various type of sins. It means a muslim can be sinning continually without repentance till death and yet go to Allah's paradise. 7. God does not tolerate idol worship i.e satan worship but Allah has his Throne in Kaaba, the house of satan. The difference inexhaustible. |

There were writings (Scriptures) at Jesus time, which he was referring to, even your quran referred to them after him. What is your problem with this? Your argument is that the Torah and Injeel were not in writing and I asked you whether the Scriptures (Tora and Injeel) were oral speeches. Are they? Check the meaning of the Scriptures in dictionary. Do I have to keep repeating this a million times before you understand? The Bible says Jesus is the Word of God and the word was God (John 1:1). Can you separate a speaker from his words? He (Jesus) said He and the Father are one. What is your own interpretation of these? Half a word is enough for the wise. I put it to you that quran exhorts you to seek refuge in Allah to deceive you so that you will not suspect he (Allah) is the devil. He even allows you to curse and throw stones at him capitalising on your spiritual ignorance. The Bible says Satan transforms to angel of light to deceive (II Cor. 11:14) and he succeeds deceiving the unreasonable. Whatever the Bible says is the truth because God is the creator of the universe, not scientists. I believe in the God of the Bible, not scientists who are subject to errors. Scientists do change their theories and they give reason for the change. What causes the change? God. My faith is not in what science says but God. Jesus stood on water and did not sink and walked on the air to heaven, the scientis would tell you those are impossible because it is against the law of nature. They are humans and limited in knowledge. At this point, before I can entertain any more questions, go and answer those questions a reasonable person should ask to be or remain a muslim, skipping none. |

@tbaba How can you describe questions that if the answers are made known are capable of turning peoples' mind as useless questions. Far from being the correct interpretation. Some people asked some questions about islam and when the questions were answered, they discovered the truth and left islam. By what standard can such questions be termed useless? Questions that are capable of making people to change their minds. Such questions are very reasonable. Allah can only deceive the unreasonable ones. I believe the reasonable people in question asked questions such as: 1. Why did Allah's Gabriel torture innocent Muhammad first to bring good tidings. He did so to intimidate him to force him to obey. It is evil spirits that punish their victims. 2. Why did Allah say his words cannot change but was changing them by replacement later? Why lying (Quran 10:64 and 16:101)? 3. Why did Allah make Kaaba, a place where Satan is worshiped every day as his Holy Temple or rather his Throne where you face to contact him? Reasonable people should be able to ask. It is the new wine inside the old bottle. It is right to say Allah is Satan in disguise. What is the harmony of God with Satan? 4. Why should Allah punish the just by putting them in Hellfire first (Quran 16:71-72)? How merciful is that Allah? 5. Why would Allah command Muhammad to take the wife of anybody, talkless of that of Zaid, his adopted son? Disgusting. |

What is the content? How do you know the injeel (which I doubt you have seen before) was not preserved? Show with proof what is missing, removed or added. You said Jesus didn't write anything and he never told anybody to write. How can the injeel be preserved if not in writing? You said when he was around nothing was written down. Prove with evidence. How would the true God tell people not to ask because if they ask and the truth is made known to them, they would be troubled. Knowing the truth should gladen and not trouble the people. What a god. Spiritual blindness. The quran continues by saying those who asked and knew the truth disbelieved it (quran). I really congratulate those people. Allah/Gabriel knew there is the truth somewhere. @F00028 You lack the knowledge of the Bible and cannot see the truth because your mind is made up. If Luke and Mark were not among the first twelve disciples, Matthew and John were. Do you believe their witnesses? Fistly, who wrote the Gospel (with proof) which your quran accepts as authentic and where can it be found. The Gospel according to Mark, Luke and John, (you forgot to mention Matthew), which you said are not recorgnised had been on ground before Muhammad. Who said they were not recorgnised because your quran does not say so. Your claim is not quranic, it is your own invention. You have deviated from the ongoing discussion by mentioning the fleeing of the disciples. It happened only when Jesus was being tried before cruxifixion. You failed to see Peter following him afar off and going in (Matthew 26:58). Besides, the cruxifixion of Jesus was in the public. Governor Pilate had no choice but approved the will of the people to crucify Him (Matthew 27). Yet your quran says something that happened in the public was not true. The witnesses of many people. Satan does not want people to believe in the only source of salvation. |

F00028: that's the second hand information of whoever wrote the particular gospel you are reading because he wasnt there either.Those who wrote the Gospel, which your quran talks about severally are the disciples of Jesus. They were eye-witnesses to Jesus (Matthew 10:1-5). This Gospel your quran recorgnises as authentic (Quran 5:47). Where do you get your own theory? |

Why do you have to ban anybody for saying anything against islam? Aren't you muslims saying a lot against christianity? Is anyone banned? Banning people for expressing their opinion is a way of avoiding the truth. Knowing the truth is the best for anybody as ignorance is no excuse. I don't think it is reasonable for anyone to love his religion more than his own soul by looking away from the truth. Why do people practice religion? Is it not to have rest for their souls after this world. Heaven and Hell are as real as the life we are living. Ask those in hell, I'm sure they will tell you they regret coming to this world talkless of the religion they practice in the world. Coming to this world is a risk of hell but we have come already. How we avoid the risk depends on us. No Nigerian is a relative of Jesus or Muhammad. Even if our relatives would cause us to go to hell, it is better we do away with such a relative. If anybody, I mean anybody (including my mother and father) promises me a second in hell, I will run away from her/him because nobody will help anybody in hell. A moment in hell is unbearable and longer than many years on earth. Somebody who promises me hell (such a severe punishment) meant for God's enemies does not love me. The fact is that you never can see or know the truth if your mind is made up on any matter. A muslim preacher said on TV that to succeed you need many enemies. This is very true. Sweenecta, are you appealing after the verdict to repeat your lies in the appeal court? All islamic scholars said Mohammed was commanded to read and because he was could not read, Gabriel strangled/pressed him almost to death three times. After his inability to read and punished thrice, Gabriel decided to say something which he forced him to recite. All these have been taught you by Proo212 and my humble self. You said it was easier for Mohammed to recite as an illiterate man than to read. Yes. Since it was easier for him, why did he not recite that Gabriel had to torture him thrice. Was he unable to recite as well? What called for his punishment if he recited? That further confirms that he was commanded to do what he was incapable of doing - read. If a man cannot read, he must be able to recite. What is recitation? It means to repeat what is told or memorized. Why would Mohammed not be able to recite what is told him in his own language that made Gabriel punish him so severely? Lies. The case remains as judged by Pointblank. Your lies are not admissible in the spiritual appeal court of justice. |

You can see how he deliberately denied that Mohammed was not commanded to 'read' but 'recite' until he was proved a liar. I deliberately did not post my source of info at first because of people like him. I know he would deny so that I could expose his lies and he fell for it. The Bible says satan is a liar and whenever he speaks lies, he talks about himself. Sweetnecta is a liar and whenever he speaks lies he talks about himself. His words are not credible. |

They are carnal and cannot understand things of the spirit. The say ''the holy quran''. Tell me what is holy about Gabriel's revelations. A lying and violent spirit from satan. Nobody can be a more sinner than Mohammed. Though it was not his fault. He is said to be a gentle, honest and quiet man before he had contact with Gabriel. But when Gabriel fully possessed him, he became another man: violent, wicked and blood-thirsty.He was a man to be pitied. A worst christian is better than the best of muslims. When muslims talk about quran and its beauty, the first thing that occurs to me is they are under spiritual manipulations. Gabriel the revealer of quran is the spirit of the Pharicees and Saducees who raised still opposition against Jesus and His teachings. Muslims are the Pharicees and Saducees of today. Each time the quran mentions Jesus, it says ''the Son of Mary'' Why should He be addressed by His mother's name? What custom is that? When it mentions any other prophet's name, it doesn't state the son of whom he is, it does not even mention their father. A reasonable and unbiased person should be able know something is fishing. The quran will say something about Jesus without stating how it happened, where it happened leaving his readers in suspense, thereby leaving room for arguments and confusions. A reasonable person should be able to ask why. God is not an author of confusion. e.g Sura 19:19 says Jesus is a faltless child yet is says He is not more than any other prophet. Which of the other does the quran say is faltless. Inconsistency. The quran says Jesus was not cruxified but it appeared so unto them. Allah took him up to himself (Sura 4:157-158). The impression given here is that Jesus disappeared. How can disappearance seem to people as cruxifiction? Are they related? Lies. Muslims because the revelations in quran are contradictory to the Scriptures, they say Gospel was not written by Mathew, John, Mark, Peter and Luke. They say these people were not eyewitnesses because they were not disciples of Jesus. My questions are  a) How many were the disciples of Jesus? (b) What were their names? (c) Where did you find the information about them? Or were there no disciples with him? A mad man cannot realize that is mad because is under spiritual boundage. But when the evil spirit is cast out, he/she will suddenly realize what has been happening. Likewise the muslims, they cannot realize they are under spiritual deception until they are delivered. Because of its source, islam has relationship with evil spirits (the enemies of God) and that is why muslims believe in arabic magic which their alfas specialize in. Tbaba We are not discussing arabic definition of 'recitation' your complex dictionary shows. Are you saying Pickthall who interpreted the whole quran that is internationally accredited and one of the most popular translations didn't understand all you are trying to explain before he wrote ''Mohammed was commanded to read''? The owner(s) of www.islambasics.com and other islamic scholars who said Mohammed was commanded to 'read' didn't know all you are explaining before they said so? Don't try to explain away the truth. Those who are following this thread are not fools even though some fanatics may turn blind eyes to good reasoning. |

Apart from Sweetnecta who cooked the idea of 'recite' which you are now copying, who again said is 'recite'? Where else did you see 'recite'. Please let us know your source(s). Wait a minute: you once said you have many sources you can refer to, please do before you are tagged a 'liar' like sweetnacta (sweetliar). If you cannot show your source(s) it means you and sweetnecta are trying to formulate your own quran for the purpose of this argument. |

Pickthall, a world-wide accredited interpreter of the quran wrote and I quote ''Al-Qur'an, The Reading, the Reading of the man who knew not how to read''. Other islamic websites (including www.islambasics.com) say Mohammed was commanded to 'read''. But Sweetnecta says it is reciting not reading. A liar that he is. A misleader assigned by the devil to accomplish evil mission. He twists every truth with or without making sense. |

Tbaba, Hi. There is no way a person can present ignorance as a fact. There is no method anyone can turn ignorance to a fact. Alright, let's assume Mohammed was commanded by Gabriel to 'recite' forcefully. Recite what? It was the first time Gabriel appeared to him and his (gabriel) first speech was 'recite'. There was no prior talk or revelation to be recited. What was Mohammed expected to recite that called for punishing him. Gabriel only told a lie as an excuse to instil fear in Mohammed to compel him. If you read how islam all started, after Mohammed's contact with Gabriel, he went home shivering as he recalled the experience. He was even of the opinion that Gabriel was an evil spirit. Mohammed was 40 years old then, he must know what he was saying. Mohammed is to be pitied for being Gabriel's choice. He had no other choice than to obey otherwise Gabriel would kill him and that was why he first pressed or strangled him to show him a sample. Unfortunately he did not have protection in Jesus against such evil spirit. Mohammed was not the first to see an angel. Even Mary (a young girl) saw the true Gabriel and there was no account of suspecting an evil spirit. You said we shall see whose religion is false. When shall we see? When it is too late? You are my friend and hell is not a place one can wish anybody even one's enemy. About google. Good is not the origin of anything. People post what they know there. Is the quran by Pickthall from google? Besides there are many islamic sites you can find on google (including the one I supplied) propagating islam. When did google become a bad source of info? All the lengthy posts against the Bible and Christianity by you and your mustim brothers/sisters are all obtained from islamic sites on the net. |

The Glorious Quran by Marmaduke Pickthall, Page 5 paragraph 3 under the Introduction. There you will find the quran as 'the reading'. I bought the quran about 35 years ago when I was still working with a Bank in Apapa, Lagos. I wouldn't know if that page has been tampered with now. Again, search the Google with 'gabriel commanded muhammad to read' and click a site www.islambasics.com Other sites I would have given you say the same thing, but i know you will prefer islam site. I cannot paste the link here because I don't use computer. But Nigerian muslims appear to be fanatical without knowledge or they search only for opposition against christianity. I am surprised this thread which is supposed to be a basic knowledge, they don't know it. It means their arguments are because of their ignorance. Now that they can see it for themselves, I am impatiently waiting for their comments on or answers to the five questions at the start of this thread. |
