Still not clear when you say he can get PR. Which relative e.g. if he has a parent in the US they can file for him if they are citizens though it can take years depending on various factors, but if he has an uncle etc no they cannot. Pretty much pick the country where he has the best/easier chance of getting permanent residence.

Maybe provide more information on how both of them offer him PR as your earlier post saying he was going to huddle suggests otherwise I.e. that suggested to me he was going to work without papers. Then you ask how he can get PR then you say he can get PR to both Canada and US, quite a few contradictory statements there.

1stbest:
yes, both of them offers him PR, he want to choose base on job opportunities, cost of living ,good environment (low crimes , low prejudice)etc

Easier to get lost in the system and hassle in the US than Canada if you don’t have papers.

Hahaha yeah it gets really cold but this year's winter was colder than normal especially the vortex that pushed temperatures to -46.

The dirty snowy roads happens everywhere it snows, east coast US, Canada etc. It's part and parcel of snow, it looks nice and white then turns dirty and mushy till it melts off.

I love Chicago, great city with it's flaws.

kroger:
The cold in Chicago can change someone's surname shocked. I was in Chicago around January mehn It was terrible. The snow made the roads looked so dirty, the wind and cold was just too much for me to handle. The town looked like a mess.
TravelRe: U.S Based>> Choosing A Career Path In America<<< by ttmacoy: 2:40am On Jun 17, 2019
Haba there are many Nigerians doing well in a Chicago.

One advantage of Chicago to me is it’s one of the the most balanced/diverse economy in the US so for married couples with different fields it’s gives them both options compared to say NY which is heavily Financial services or the west coast which is technology heavy.

And the immediate past mayor actually did a good job attracting more companies to Chicago, yeah it is more competitve than smaller cities but less competitive than the likes of NY.

abike12:
my first advice would be to leave chicago. Nigerians there are not up to much as far as legal life. I literally don't know one Nigerian in chicago that's up to much. If you are open to relocation I would suggest atlanta, houston, dallas, places with upwardly mobile black people and Nigerians, low cost of living, nice houses in the 200s, and lots of opportunity. IT is definitely having it's moment now and you don't have to spend much on education to get your foot in the door. I like that it's flexible, allowing you to work from home and have other side gigs. If it sounds like something you're interested in I can ask around for how to get started. I'm assuming you're a permanent resident...

Irrespective of taxes that is a very good salary that is higher than average and as locum he is working via a limited company which means less tax and he is also able to claim certain expenses as tax deductible.

Beautyaddy:
Lol! However, that salary per month is not the final take home. Taxes and insurances will be taken out of the salary.

BTW, how much is the average monthly salaries of doctors in Nigeria?

TravelRe: What If Someone Couldn't Get A Job Related To His Field After Msc In Germany? by ttmacoy: 12:18pm On Jun 15, 2019
What do you mean you can work in the US for 3 months? Is this based on a Nigerian program with a Polish student visa or residence visa? I don’t think this information is correct. A Polish passport allows visit to US via the visa waiver program but not to work.

Clarifying with some proof will help people make the right decisions.

charles2468:
First I want to say kudos to you, cos you're thinking right.
yes Germany is a good country with opportunities,
But I Want to suggest to you, why don't you look at other European countries like Portugal or Poland, were tuition fee is cheap and getting permanent residence is more easier.
with 2.2m u can get good school in Portugal n the good part of it is that Portugal schools allows you to pay 10 instalments of your tuition, please try n make research, for Poland as you are working and studying, during summer break you can travel to US and work for 3month and know it that having a US stamp on your passport is like opening doors for you to be entering countries, am a fellow youth like you n hustling at the same time, so you can move with your 2.2m without borrowing additional 1.8m ok
make research on all I have said, bless up bro
SportsRe: Anthony Joshua To Have A Re-match With Andy Ruiz In November by ttmacoy: 2:35pm On Jun 05, 2019
Because Joshua held most of the cards against Parker. He had 3 belts against Parker’s WBO belt and he’s also the cash cow in the division. I’m sure Aj has a rematch clause in case he lost against Parker, similar to what the Klitchkos used to do to control the division.

Btw Hearn has confirmed the rematch clause against Ruiz has been triggered and it’s expected to take place Nov/Dec.

I agree with you re filling seats for the rematch but if there was no rematch clause I am very very sure Al Harmon who manages both Ruiz and Wilder would rather keep the belts within his fighters in the US and will pay Ruiz to fight Wilder instead. This will give him so much control over the division especially given the animosity between him and Hearn.

Edit: see attached confirming Joshua had a rematch clause against Parker.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Joshua_vs._Joseph_Parker

oyetpel:
There might not have been a rematch clause bro.

I keep wondering why Parker didn't ask for rematch when he lost to AJ.

Agreeing to a rematch to fight AJ after Hearn must have begged him is still the best thing to ever happen to Ruiz.

Even as a champion of 4 belts he can't pull crowd so the best thing is to fight AJ again, but now ask for 50-50 pay win or lose.

Hearn is not experienced. His father was.

5. How much bta should I go with?
SportsRe: Anthony Joshua To Have A Re-match With Andy Ruiz In November by ttmacoy: 9:25pm On Jun 04, 2019
There is a rematch clause as confirmed by the promoter Hearn who deals with the contracts and documents. Joshua does not handle negotiations or contracting, and I think what Joshua was saying was he did not ask for a rematch clause as he never though he would lose, but his promoter who is so experienced will always include a rematch clause as part of negotiations.

Remember this was a big unexpected opportunity for Ruiz who win or lose earned about $7m while his previous highest earnings was less than $1m. So agreeing to a rematch clause would not be a big issue to him given the benefits even if he lost.

LuciferRamadan:
This part is a big lie.

Anthony Joshua confirmed himself that no rematch clause was inserted in the fight because he never expected to lose.

If the fight holds, it will be because Ruiz Jr. wants it to happen.
No one can force him.

If I were Ruiz, I'll avoid Joshua & cherry pick my opponents like he & Wilder do then fight him in 5 years time like Mayweather did to Pacquaio.

It's fair to say maybe it is used a lot more since be came into office but to say it didn't exist before is false as Beautyaddy said.

TravelRe: United States Embassy Suspends Interview Waiver "Drop Box" For Nigerians by ttmacoy:
Firstly how many Americans are applying for Nigerian visa? Secondly how many Americans are using Nigerian visas to cross over into Ghana illegally? If you recall Canada specifically asked the US to limit visas to Nigerians because of the number of Nigerians who will get US visa which is relatively easier than Canadian visa and then cross the border and claim asylum.

The majority of American visitors to Nigeria excluding those of Nigerian descent are on business visas and if you target business visas it will impact the Nigeria economy via foreign direct investment. Restrictions on Nigerian visit visas will mostly affect US passport holders of Nigerian descent. Besides a Nigerian visa is not easy to get and this is in part due to the inefficient processes and staff at the embassies. Heck even me a Nigerian trying to get my Nigerian passport renewed at an embassy abroad is so annoying and can be difficult.

In short the solution is to fix our country so people are not so desperate to run to other countries illegally. That way we also gain respect and prestige on the global stage.

At the moment we are funding universities in Canada UK US etc while our universities continue to wallow in under investment and with very poor conditions. We continue to invest in the medical sector in these countries while our medical sector is so bad even our president has to travel to the UK for treatment. All this with the limited foreign exchange we earn as a country.

dheaven:
We need to also be strict in our immigration laws for Americans.

More importantly how 100 enemies will be firing machine guns at them and none of the bullets will touch them grin

I remember those days when arnold schwarzenegger(commando) was a household name. Terminator, conan the barbarian and commando were wonderful movies that most africans liked, it's just sad someone foolish had to put a bad picture of how much many africans love him.

Racism and tribalism is bad for us, it reduces our progress as a race, let us learn to accommodate each other even though our views about life is different.

I will love to see arnold schwarzenegger and sylvester stallone(rambo) and ask them how they kept firing bullets in their movies without getting tired just like a machine with 100% efficiency.

You can sit in those seats if they are available but be ready to give them up if a pregnant woman, elderly etc come on the bus.

Sitting and getting up if someone who needs it comes up does not lead to embarrassment.

The sign clearly says you must give it up if one of such people come on it doesn’t say do not sit on it even if no disabled or elderly is on the bus.

amdman:
Bus Etiquettes
Avoid sitting in the reserved seats for pregnant women or people with babies, the elderly or physically challenged people. It is better to stand when other seats are occupied than to sit in those reserved seats, as you show your consideration for those the seats are reserved for. It is not acceptable to sit there with the intention of standing up when the appropriate person gets in… it can lead to an embarrassing moment. The fact that many people flout this rule doesn’t make it right. I attended a TTC training and this was a major part of it.

SportsRe: Andy Ruiz Jr. Is Anthony Joshua Opponent For New York Bout by ttmacoy: 3:27pm On Apr 30, 2019
Fury is not free, he is signed to ESPN and fighting Schwartz in June.

BluntBoy:
No one is avoiding him.

Wilder has a fight for May, and Luis Ortiz was ready to rumble but his promoter went behind the back of he and his trainer to demand more money from Hearn (Joshua's promoter).

Hearn had the opportunity to reconsider from two days ago, but they would rather fight fatboy Ruiz who is Parker's leftover.

Nonsense!!!

Fury is free, and even though he might not want to take such a fight on short notice, they could have at least shortlisted him. But no, they don't want Fury.

It is very obvious that Ruiz just wants the money.

In my opinion, the American debut can wait. I wonder who would watch that fight.
SportsRe: Andy Ruiz Jr. Is Anthony Joshua Opponent For New York Bout by ttmacoy: 3:22pm On Apr 30, 2019
Because Fury signed up with ESPN and committed to was it 3 or 5 fights which makes it hard to impossible to make a fight with other networks as AJ is on DAZN and Wilder is on PBC. This led to the scrapping of the Fury v Wilder rematch with Fury fighting Schwartz (an unknown) in June.

I agree with you politics and money/greed is messing up the division.

BluntBoy:
They never disappoint. I knew they would give us another shitty fight.

Of course, Joshua would win this easily. Ruiz is not a bad hitter, but he is an overall horribly poor fighter.

Why didn't they shortlist Fury? Assuming Wilder has his hands full, why was Fury never shortlisted? Since there is no obvious pattern anymore, why not ask Fury?

Heavyweight boxing has gone to the dogs.
SportsRe: Andy Ruiz Jr. Is Anthony Joshua Opponent For New York Bout by ttmacoy: 3:12pm On Apr 30, 2019
Actually Andy Ruiz will be so happy now because win or lose he will be earning a career high payday.

Miller who lost out to a $6.5m payout earned less than $1m for his last fight and that was his highest to date.

TravelRe: Clarification On Having Siblings In Canada by ttmacoy: 2:55am On Apr 05, 2019
You can read the definition of sibling from the CIC website and confirm if aunty and uncle qualify as sibling.... btw they do not as sibling means brother/sister not uncle/aunty grin

As per the CIC Website below is the criteria for the sibling points:

You can now earn 15 additional points if you (or your spouse or common-law partner who will come with you to Canada) have a brother or sister who is:
living in Canada and
a citizen or permanent resident of Canada
To get these points, the brother or sister must also be
18 years old or older
related by blood, marriage, common-law partnership or adoption
have a parent in common

SportsRe: Anthony Joshua Shows Off His Home. Fans React (Photos, Video) by ttmacoy:
That’s not where he lives, that is where he stays while on camp training for a fight. Big difference.

Some fighters like to go to stay away from loved ones, or go to secluded places and deprive themselves while training e.g. see attached pic of Oleksander Usyk Ukraininan undisputed cruiserweight champion sleeping on straw bed during training camp. Doesnt mean that’s the same way he lives with his wife and kids.

Tidbit: there’s a possibility he will fight Joshua in a year or 2 as he makes his heavyweight debut soon. I like Joshua but man Usyk is a delight to watch.

Famousbabe:
Anthony Joshua, the World Heavyweight Champion shows off what his home looks like.

He made a video showing his fans what his house looks like, his sitting room, kitchen, fridge, bedroom, toilet etc

He also shows how he relaxes at home, and what his mother gave him for PROTECTION.

Many Nigerians that reacted to the video are divided. While some hailed him for living in a beautiful but simple apartment, others felt that with all the money he has as World Heavyweight Champion, that the house is below his standard.

Watch the video and say what you think.

For a green card unless you get married. If the citizen is a sibling or parent they can file for you though it can take anywhere from 1 year for kids under 18 to 10 years plus for siblings sponsor.

Some random American cannot just sponsor you for a green card.

TravelRe: How Pius Adesanmi's Mother Had Her Canadian Visa Stamped In Her House In Kwara. by ttmacoy: 11:20pm On Mar 16, 2019
The fact he is a Canadian citizen doesn’t guarantee his mother getting a Canadian visa if there is a reason to refuse her. Secondly being a Canadian citizen doesn’t give you special privileges that they will drive all the way to ilorin to stamp her visa.

The fact it was posted on Facebook means absolutely nothing to me. There is so much fake news all over the place and people just share things with no confirmation now. All the so called bloggers just copy paste repeat with no verification whatsoever.

Even if he was able to convince someone to reconsider his mother application worse case they will say send your passport but to claim they drove all the way to ilorin to stamp her passport is just bull sorry. Think of the number of visas that are issued by embassies, do you really think it’s a small manual stamp they use for visas where one person is stamping each passport manually? No It’s an automated machine process where after processing with all details entered the passports are stamped in an automated process so to say they went to stamp it in her house sorry I don’t buy it.

sonofElElyon:
The fact that you don't think it happened doesn't mean it didn't bro. We need to try and do our little investigations to determine veracity.

TravelRe: How Pius Adesanmi's Mother Had Her Canadian Visa Stamped In Her House In Kwara. by ttmacoy: 6:29pm On Mar 16, 2019
I don’t see it happening especially the part about driving all the way to ilorin to stamp her passport, haba.

Look at the Canadian PM facing fire because he is accused of trying to influence his former attorney general on a case. This story is a Naija style story, that’s not how it works in Canada etc.

Yeah as a professor he did well but sorry that is not overtly special that they will be going to do in-house visa stamping. There are many Nigerians Indians etc holding great roles in Canada, the immigration minister is a Somalian the defense minister is an Indian etc, yet they are not doing home calls for them for visas.

sonofElElyon:
Can you please do your findings and speak factually instead of making your opinion fact? Investigate the veracity or otherwise. There is a place for discretion and if the professor is seen as very valuable to Canada, and his mum was indeed wrongly denies a visa thrice, then based on discretionary powers, I don't see this as an impossibility.
