wasseynewest: My dear, I was with my boss too over the wkend trying to figure out if he has any chances. He's in his early 40's with 20yrs+ experience, and his wifey late 30's, they both had masters degree and unfortunately, there CRS nvr got beyond 401 or there about even with a an assumed high score in ielts. Except they take the PNP route, the chances are so slim for this age category. Australia may be the best alternative due to the years of experience. |

TRed: To submit your nomination application to SA, you will need your skills assessment, English test, passport details of adult applicants, and work references if you are claiming points for experience. You will also need to declare how much money you have for migration based on your family composition, no evidence is required though. I will apply straightaway cos I have all these, thanks |

I finally passed my PTE test LRSW-82/85/86/83 and I have updated my EOI selecting only SA.
I would like to know if I can make the nomination application payment now ($AU 200) while still gathering documents because my occupation is currently on low availability.
Any SA applicant, please come to my aid

lovebayus: Hello everyone, I recently got a negative assessment with Vetassess for Marketing Specialist. Apparently I didn't prepare thoroughly so my BSC was assessed as AQF Associate degree. I want to reassess now as customer service manager.
Question: 1. Has anyone done this before? 2. Will VETASSESS refer to the earlier documents I submitted for the first one.
I need help pls. Thanks Assessment of your degree as an Associate degree does not have anything to do with your preparation. There are tier 1 and tier 2 university/course categorisation in the Aussie journey. Your school/course must have got you the AQF Associate degree. What's your course of study and the university you attended? Q1: I have assessed as a Customer service manager and got a positive assessment. Q2: I don't have an idea |

mctowel01: I did mine there... It was a bit crowdy, so i struggled a bit in the speaking. If possible, you could start a bit late, so that when other candidates finish their speaking section ehich is the first section, you have a good level of quiet when having yours. Every other thing is pretty standard pte center structure -like the clogged cubicles in the small room.
NB. My second test was in bellaz and I arrived a bit late, so that's how I was able to share the above experience Thanks for this. |

My Vetassess result landed this afternoon with mixed feeling.
It was positive (AQF Associate degree, education highly relevant) but my experience slashed from 4.2 to 1.2 years.
So I have to rewrite English test.
In another related info, I decided to register on Skill select but I have few clarifications
1. Under education, there was no option for Associate degree. Which option should I select from the dropdown? 2. In my assessment result, one of my roles before I became a Team lead was adjudged to be irrelevant to the occupation I selected, though I feel it's closely related. Under the work experience tab, can I add it? Also, should I answer NO to the question "is the job related to your nominated occupation"?
Thanks. |

bellong: Is your Internal Auditor your occupation?
The advice was for the occupation she is nominating. For state nomination, it is on individual basis.
If it is SA you are planning to apply for nomination, you are 90% sure of getting it as long as you follow their checklist.
Goodluck. No, I was only asking for a friend who is planning to apply for nomination as an Internal Auditor due to his points lower than 80. |
