Why all the uncertainties?!
Why cant one of these News papers exploit the FOI law and demand a comprehensive breakdown of a senators Salary, allowances, benefits, constituency project allocation and all other ssuch monies that they recieve?!


My problem with this type of news is that it only serves to just keep Nigerians busy debating in beer paloours and online forums. We have no concrete proof whatsoever on this matter. The news reporting can best be described as a 'rumour', with 'name witheld' people granting interviews.

Heres whats gonna happen as it did with the ALUU 4 story, Faruok Lawan story, Fuel Subsidy story, Police Pension scam story, e.t.c..

1. We will keep seeing news on this matter for a while until it becomes boring and over flogged.
2. Nigerians will debate and redebate and curse and swear and rant and do all these all over again, all in the comfort of their living rooms, cars, offices, beer palours, salons, e.t.c..
3. The Media will find the next big breaking story and do what they do best, abandon the old and move to the new.
4. Nigerians will also follow the media wherever they go.

And before you know it, the country becomes a nation of unresolved issues dating over 40 years. Examples include;

a. Babangidas 12.4 Billion dollar oil windfall loot - Happened over 20 years ago - Still unresolved.
b. Kudirat Abiolas Murder - 1996 (17years ago) - Still unresolved.
c. Odi Massacre - 1999 (12 - 13 years ago) - Still Unresolved.
d. Pa. Alfred Rewane Assasination - 1995 (18years ago) - Unsolved.
e. Marshall Harry assasination - 2003 (10 years ago) - Unsolved.
f. Bola Ige assasination - 2001 (12 years ago) - Unsolved.
g. Amina Soari Dikibo assasination - 2004 (9 years ago) - Unsolved.
h. Ex. Governor Peter Odilis corruption cases - 2007-till-date (6 years and counting) - Unresolved _{Rather his wife was made a supreme court judge}
i. Fuel Subsidy scam - Revealed in 2012 (Over 1 year and 8 months now) - Unresolved.
j. Farouk Lawan Bribery scandal - 2012 - Unresolved _{Infact, he is back in the house of reps..}
k. NNPC scandal report on KPMG - 2011 - Report killed & Buried _{(Infact, NNPC Offices in Lagos and other places were torched by arson to conceal evidence)}

Since Ʊ know all these, y not create a programme on any nigeria tv station aπϑ discuss these issues..Ʊ can also become a journalist aπϑ seek for d use of the FOI as Ʊ said in ♈̲̣̣̥ō̶̲̥̅ϋ̲̣̣̥r post.

I think the best option is to make this legislative position a voluntary one i.e. ŊΦ payment at all for any legislator, Ʊ r dia for community service. #mythought#

sweetrie: I think d easiest way is to get to yaba underbridge (cross to the other side where d buses are calling ikeja etc), u will get Oshodi there, but if u don't get oshodi, take one of the ikeja buses drop at onipanu, u must get oshodi there, drop at oshodi, take mile 2, drop at second rainbow, then take bike or bus. Hope and clear enough... I av d exam too.

i dont think so, u can only be allowed to reschedule your time for dat same day but not another day cos i had similar issue like dat

My test is slated for august 14 which is d last day...the only option left is tuesday which is 13th

livelystone: I think it depends on the time u will be writing the workforce test. I also have E&Y test on wednesday 9:30 am but the workforce test is 5:30 pm. So i am planning on writing both.

i have it almost at d same time, just a difference of 30 mins

livelystone: It depends on the time u have the two tests. I have both tests on wednesday too, but one is in the morning while the other is in the evening. The time difference will determine if u can write both.
