Yes DPR is still very active. Think of it as the new electricty distribution companies thatvwe have now and we still know all of them as NEPA. So DPR, is government, its dynamic bur it dosent end just like NNPC and the rest. Those saying DPR is yet to be deleted, tgink about it...

For our tests and screening, i'm still keeping my fingers crossed, no updates from them yet. Lets keep praying that it works in our favour.

BusinessRe: CBN New Forex Policy Fails To Excite Foreign Investors by twosquare(m):
I said this in one of my threads Seun refused to push to the front page: https://www.nairaland.com/3659780/forex-narration-nigeria-why-it

But if it is Tonto Dikeh now, they will fast track it like lightning. I've said it, and I will say this again...the forex intervention by CBN cannot be sustained, and it will only have a minute short term effect..now..it is N460 to a dollar, and it will still crash...I only laughed at those who called EgunMogaji unpatriotic in one of the threads I read this morning. Nigerians are easily fooled or should I say throw caution to the wind when our politicians and those in the corridors of power entices them with one small candy like little children. Now, they are shouting Osinbanjo is working or so. What CBN is doing does not impress foreign investors one bit because those people are not just intelligent to see through the deception but want a long-term solution from the economic team of the Nigerian government.

No sane investor will put his money in "wuruwuru" kind of forex naira appreciation that is artificial....but if you talk, they will say you be one of the speculators...I think a lot of Nigerians do not know the trouble we are in..CBN is just trying to do a cover-up...Plantain dey rot, you talk say no e dey ripe (Ogede n baje, e lo n pon)...I know for sure that they cannot continue to intervene, if not..the Venezuela situation is loading....

Even if people resort to panic selling, and sell all their dollars...yeah, naira will appreciate a little, for a while, and then gradually go up again and crash like auto crash for Lagos-Ibadan expressway until we begin to address the main issues which are industrialization, electricity generation and massive assistance of SMES...then export increase.

*Don't laugh yet at those who predicted N600+ to a dollar*

igwedaboss:
Thank God this question came up. I use one of the most popular web hosting platform in Nigeria. We were told to patronize made in Nigeria, so I did. I then attached jetpack to it. Jetpack does a lot for a website, ranging from different analysis to maintenance and all. Recently, jetpack have been sending me tons of information about when my site goes offline and comes back online. This used to be rare situation but since the turn of year, it happens on an average of 4-5 times a day. It can be that bad. I remember when I first tried to install jetpack, the hosting company didn't allow, I had to ask for permission to do so, before they allowed. Now jetpack has been exposing the time that am online and offline. I thought jetpack was trying to be funny, but the truth of the matter is, when I try logging onto my website and the time jetpack says it is offline, I notice it was actually offline. So friends and guests, does this happen to you?
Well, mine do go offline for a couple of minutes within 24 hours..especially early hours of the morning. It's no big deal to me, though...since it is just for 2 to 5 minutes and everything is online again.

In a country where the corruption has eaten deep into the education system and also students keep coming out with low grades whereas the little job opportunities available keeps placing barriers, what are the the chances those with Lower grade at the hND level and 2.2 at the b.sc level have. What hope do they hold on to?
Time and chance happen to all sir..the bread is not to the wise nor riches to men of understanding. Yea, they do get the job..it is no barrier at all...if you have person (connection), God or confidence. But as we have it in this country..neither those with 1st class, 2:1, 2:2, HND are getting the jobs because there is hardly any...job market is saturated. What we need now are folks who can create one and think outside the box to industrialize this nation.

Op, I heard after like six months of marriage, sex drive dwindles and as a matter of fact your spouse would go unclad before you but you'll be the one begging him/her to put on some clothes.

To answer your question now, I don't think weekly sex is cool, once in a month would be good, that way both parties would long for it.
12 times in a year? Haba! Guess you are a low sex drive type...anytime they feel like and not coercion...no specific timetable...

Christianity EtcRe: Please Help! Sin Is Destroying My Life. by twosquare(m): 10:47pm On Feb 20, 2017
Priceless007:
Hello disciples of Christ and believers in the Truth and Grace. Please help me out as I am drifting away from Christ to my destruction rapidly by the day. I am a believer in Christ and I used to be a fervent and devoted Christian. But things began changing when I got a job. I began indulging in all kinds of worldly life and sin. Both in my workplace and outside, I yield to diverse sin of the flesh from time to time. Though each time I do these things my conscience drives me into depression. I always have this premonition in my spirit about the imminent consequences of my sins just before I fall into it. I have a habit of studying the bible , as I have a gift of understanding what the bible truly teaches (despite the fact that I commit sins as frequently as I study the bible). And moments after I might have yield to this temptation of the flesh, guilt overwhelms me and I suffer terribly both physically and spiritually until I get depressed from guilt, and I'll cry and pray for forgiveness for sometime and then the gloomy state leaves me. This trend has continued like this for a long time now, despite the fact that I beg God everyday in my life to save me once and for all from this evil bondage of sin. And at this point the guilt and suffering has become too great that I am losing hope in God's ability to reach out to me and help. As I feel deeply lost and discouraged at the moment and on the verge of a terrible decision that the consequence could be disastrous. Though I still have belief that God can save me through the right channel. And I know that there are believers out there who have been through what I'm experiencing now, or those that have witnessed someone who came out of this victorious and are testimonies of God's saving grace and divine turnaround, either through a group of God-fearing believers or individuals. Please I need you to reach out to me and save me from destruction. As what I just wrote here is nothing close to describing the battle I'm going through right now. I need believers to give and share their thoughts and prayers with me please. I will be glad to reach you too please.
NB: Please I'll welcome only well meaning thoughts and encouragement from Christian brethren. Thank you and God bless.
https://www.scribeofrighteousness.net/ancient-paths/

Relax...I know how you feel but first get rid that feeling of condemnation...it is not of God. I sense it is the sin of fornication that is holding you down. Whichever sin it is, first calm down and talk to God sincerely. Thanks that you do have a premonition before it happens; that means you have not been left on your own. In every race, there is a time to learn and be wise. Let's not deceive ourselves, the reason we love sin is because sin has some pleasure. That's why you can't leave. Sin will encourage you and come back to insult and torment you. You have to close the door. You have opened a door, and you have to close it..that's the first step. If not, you will keep repeating the same circle..i don't know the spiritual door to sin you have opened. How will I say this? It is not the actual sin you are weeping over now....but it is something that is feeding this present one. If you do not, in the innermost of your heart forsake this pleasure, you can't escape it....

Then, start reading the word and be given to intense prayer. When you start feeling the urge, desperate times requires desperate measures...if it is a place you can pray immediately, pls do. You are a soldier, you too should know that a demon have been assigned to you to ensure you won't escape but there is always a way of escape. Try to live daily, not a week or a month....be happy when you don't engage in whatever today, the next day is another chapter..start afresh again...and don't dwell too much thoughts on the sin or else you will be led towards it. Fight daily and soon, the lord will get you victory. Draw closer to God and he will draw closer to you, and be careful of the company you keep. Peace.

Samhay.....Tell Pastor ke? With all kind of pastors we have nowadays. The more I read marriage woes and cheating partners, the "scarier" I get. What has come over people...Olorun a ma rejo daa o...even spouse you lay everything down for will still Bleep-up. This is so bad...just have a peaceful marriage...loving marriage with no "great" issues like this..mba...just wahala...now she has destroyed the trust in that marriage. Op, what can I say? The foundation is already cracked...it just need a push for the house to fall...

Your friend should either forgive and forget or walk out (that's the only option Jesus gave for separation on the ground of infidelity). If this thing continues to eat him up, Satan might use your friend...front paper page (you know what I mean). I know the issue is "igbonse kinkin eti awo gbegiri" but he should report her to God (not pastor now cuz it has not come to that) and pray for guidance to rebuild his home if he so wish. Let's not undermine the power of prayer. When all things fail, it will work. If he sincerely is faithful to his wife and not a cheat like her also..God will hear him, and maybe, discipline her...counselling is also an option...both should go...divorce should be the last option.

FamilyBilly Graham's Best Advice For A Marriage That Will Last A Lifetime by twosquare(op): 11:19am On Feb 15, 2017
Evangelist Billy Graham and his wife Ruth were happily married for more than 63 years.

While that may be quite a feat in today's world, Graham says a long-lasting marriage is possible when grace is the foundation.

"Ruth and I don't have a perfect marriage, but we have a great one," he wrote in his 1997 autobiography, Just As I Am.

Ruth passed away in 2007 at the age of 87.

While most people believe relationships are all about being compatible, Graham says it's about being "happily incompatible."

"If two people agree on everything, one of them is unnecessary," he says.

The evangelist discourages people from idolizing their partner and striving for fairytales.

"Being human, not one of us will ever have a relationship with another person that doesn't have a wrinkle or a wart on it somewhere." He said, "The unblemished ideal exists only in 'happily ever after' fairytales."

Graham believes it all starts with putting God at the center of your relationships and allowing him to rule.

"God can help you begin to rebuild your marriage and your life if you will let Him rule in your life," he says.
