The human freewill is part of the soul (mind, emotion and volition). God gave us a free volition so we can align it with His own will and be His regents in this world. But man gave up not only his will, but also his mind and emotions to the control of the devil. Man's spirit became dead to God and could not control his soul anymore after the Fall. The devil became the controller of man's soul through the seen environment.

But a man's will cannot be in harmony with God's Will except the man's spirit has been regenerated by God's Spirit. This is where the work of the Holy Spirit of God comes in to play through the finished work of Jesus Christ - the Messiah.

The only unpardonable sin is denying Jesus Christ is the Lord. As long as you remain in that state of unbelief, there is no chance for forgiveness until you accept Him.

Unfortunately, true Christianity has plunged into hypocrisy in Nigeria. The church in Nigeria has been overwhelmed by falsehood and personal gains by the "men of God".

True Christians defend the Gospel of Christ with the Truth anywhere they find themselves. You don't need to lay curses on your "enemies" to prove you're a Christian. True Christians speak against social injustice and corruption no matter whose ox is gored. True Christians don't go on supporting an evil against another evil.

The greedy error of Balaam was that he was willing to compromise everything for money.
Though he was obviously a man with significant spiritual gifts, he was not a man with a genuine heart after God. He was “seeking God’s will” regarding something that was plainly not His will.
Balaam began on a dangerous course – entertaining, planning, setting his heart on something he knew to be sin, and looked for a spiritual excuse to pursue the sin. Many Christians would never deny Jesus under persecution, but might deny Him if offered a large sum of money. There is not a single sin that corrupt man will not commit for the sake of money. Covetousness is such a dangerous sin that it killed Jesus – 30 pieces of silver helped put Jesus on the cross. It is sobering to understand there is no sin that men will not commit just for the sake of money.

Money itself isn't evil but the problem with money is that we tend to idolize it and put our trust in it. CONTENTMENT is a virtue that eludes most people — including Christians because material things can never bring true contentment. The only way to be content is to recognize and rely on God’s sufficiency and sovereignty. We must also learn to give thanks to God in every situation. Loving God will make you fulfill all His commandments while loving money will cause you to break them. The love you choose predicts the fruit you'll bear — either life or death. What will you choose?

Sounds like one of those dumb questions we used to ask our elders when we were kids.

You are very adamant to gain spiritual knowledge with your fallible mind, it's impossible.

If you want to know about God just for knowing sake, then you'll continue to be in spiritual darkness even if you have all the education in the world.

But if you genuinely want to know God because you want the Truth and willing to live the Truth, God will surely reveal Himself to you.

True belief in God is not a function of your mind or feelings, it takes an active spirit to truly believe and know God. You may profess to be a Christian with degrees in theology yet have no faith in God.

All humans are born spiritually dead. God is a Spirit and any human who wills to acknowledge Him must do so through his regenerated spirit, not the mind or emotions.

I have every reason and no particular reason to believe in God's existence. A natural mind may not be able to reconcile that, only the spiritually minded ones have God's revelation.

As far a I'm concerned, the church is the collection of true disciples of Christ no matter where they worship, not the buildings where people claim to worship God nor the people who profess to be Christians. The church in Nigeria is just a term used to describe people who sell the Gospel of Christ for their own personal gains, so I'm no more surprised at what so called "men of God" do nowadays.

The selfish part of life is the major battle born again Christians face on a daily basis after victory over sin. Even our perceived rights as humans are all full of self-desires and self-pleasures.

Until we humans begin to see the larger picture of our existence in this ephemeral world that our presence here is about the One who created us not just about our own self. All our craving for self fulfillment in life is all in vain if we care less about God's glory and pleasure, after all that's all He created us for.

True fulfillment in life only comes from fulfilling God's intent and purpose in our lives.

There is no deliverance anywhere else except in the finished work of Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago.

I started having spiritual attacks from extended family members when I was writing my WASSCE. Even after making all my papers and doing very well in JAMB, I couldn't make any headway due to incessant and unexplainable health failure.

I was referred to MFM prayer city, in fact I joined the church and became a youth leader just so I may be "delivered" from this attacks, all to no avail. The more I fasted and prayed fire prayers, the more the attacks kept coming.

I got frustrated and stopped attending any church but started seeking for the Truth about God and why He's been allowing these satanic attacks. God revealed Himself to me personally as I started a close and personal spiritual walk with Him.

I still don't attend any church but my spiritual journey so far has been gracious and for the attacks, my life is a testimony.

I'v stopped praying for their death as I used to do when I was in MFM, but anytime I perceive any spiritual attack on my health, I rebuke it with the Word of God. Satan and his minions have no foothold in my body anymore because I've come to understand through the help of the Holy Spirit, that my body is the temple of the Spirit of God. I hardly experience any sickness in my body now.

Deliverance only comes from Jesus Christ alone, not from anywhere or anything, not by praying fire brand prayers. All you need is to accept Jesus Christ into your life by believing in Him and you must be willing to obey the indwelling Holy Spirit in you EVERYTIME so you can continue to grow spiritually, DON'T JOKE WITH SIN because that is the foothold the enemies are using to bring you down. When you do these, the deliverance you're looking for is automatically yours - BELIEVE IT, THEN IT'S YOURS.

There is absolutely no basis for argument from what you've written because it all shows you have zero, in fact, negative knowledge of the Bible.

Indeed all knowledge of God, even from His written Scriptures, without His spiritual revelation to man remains veiled.

Muslims derive high ectasy from criticizing Christians and comparing the Bible with their Koran. But they fail to realize that the messages in the Bible, unlike other scriptures need spiritual mind to understand it. The message of the Cross is indeed foolishness to the world but power to those who have spiritual understanding.

If your story here is true, then it's a very pathetic one. It's not your fault you weren't trained with the right understanding of the Truth but it's your fault you've allowed that to shape your life and principles. At twenty something, you're not too young to seek the Truth. God will always reveal Himself to you if you truly seek Him not matter the level you've gone in spiritual death, the only thing separating you from the truth right now is your sturborn will even though you know in your innermost heart that you are on the wrong path.

I was also indoctrinated with wrong understanding of the Truth while young. I prayed everyday, read and studied the Bible everyday, fasted, etc but had no spiritual experience. I got frustrated in my late teens trying to figure out if God really exists. But God in His gracious love revealed Himself to me by allowing incessant spiritual attacks on my health and many other incidents that were clearly signs of spiritual attacks. In my mid-twenties, I stopped attending "churches" and fell into various ungodly acts due to frustration, but my heart was yearning after the Truth despite my state. I started reading and studying the Bible on my own, with the help of the Holy Spirit, God revealed His Truth to me. I kept listening to sermons by foreign ministers and reading inspiration books. This has helped my spiritual growth tremendously. I still don't attend any congregation but spiritual walk has been fulfilling.

Our lives as Christians is only about glorifying God and not ourselves - that means everything we do as children of God should glorify Him and not just for our personal pleasure. In the book if Revelation, God warned Christians who derive satisfaction in selling the Gospel instead of preaching the Kingdom of God and helping His people have a fulfilling relationship with their heavenly Father.

Fame, money, sex, etc are all baits the devil is using to catch and keep people (especially young ones and Christians in particular) in spiritual bondage today.

In the long run, people who amass all these things without having God in their life end up miserable spiritually.

Masturbation hinders one's fellowship with God, it separates a Christian from God. Even though there may be financial prosperity, the spiritual life of Christian who masturbates will be ineffective. Masturbation doesn't glorify God no matter how try to justify it by human understanding.

The blood of Jesus Christ was shed to forgive and take away our sins once and for all. Believe it and it shall be so, because we were joined with Him in His death

The Cross of Jesus Christ at the same time has nailed our self-life once and for all. Believe it and it shall be so, because we were joined with Him in His death and resurrection.

But you must carry your cross EVERYDAY because you are already dead to yourself. You don't need to crucify yourself again.

Believe even though you don't have the experience yet. The Power of resurrection will only work out the experience for you if you BELIEVE!

The church is not the buildings or people who occupy them for worship. The church is made up of true disciples of Jesus Christ even though some of them may not be attending any congregation.

These are the fruits of the Holy Spirit, they aren't steps or what you can perform by YOURSELF. When you have the Holy Spirit and you allow Him to work His life through you by OBEYING HIM continually, then these fruits will grow out in your life effortlessly.

The divine nature is God's eternal life which is God Himself. We can only receive this nature when we believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God. The Holy Spirit of God who has the divine nature regenerates our dead spirit when we receive this nature, that is what is meant by being born again. After regeneration, our consciousness of God (conscience), fellowship with God (communion) and intuition are revitalized.

The sinful nature is human and any other thing that is devoid of God (including our self-desire and self-righteousness), even though they may not be bad from our perspective.

Adam did not have this divine nature because it was in the tree of life. Adam chose to receive the sinful nature by eating from the tree of knowledge of good and bad. When Adam fell, his spirit became dead to God and he could only live by the sinful (human) nature. Every man born of Adam since then have inherited this nature and humans continually became farther from their Source. Man has since from the beginning tried different means of connecting back to his Creator especially through animal sacrifices and religion but not succeeded.

God in His infinite mercy, reached down to earth to reconnect humanity back to Himself by coming down in human form to make the once and for all sacrifice in the person of Jesus Christ so that any human who believes in Him would not perish - would not have to continue in spiritual and eternal death (separation from God), but have eternal life which is the divine nature (John 3:16).

Receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour is the only way to have this eternal life of God. After receiving this divine nature in the person of the Holy Spirit (mingles with your spirit to give life to it), then you can start living by the power of the Holy Spirit and no more by the power of the flesh (your human/sinful nature).

Christianity treats everyone (even non Christians) with utmost respect. Men and women are equal before God Almighty, but as humans, we have gender roles we play in life. Worldy Feminity has turned Feminism and it's fast creeping into the church.

Modern day congregations allow indecent dressing because they think God only views our hearts and not appearance, forgetting that we are created to glorify God in all we do. Christians nowadays make Jesus their Saviour and not the Lord of their lives. If your appearance doesn't glorify God, then you're living for yourself not for God.

You should understand what marriage is all about by
1. Knowing the originator (God) intimately
2. Know why He instituted marriage relationship from the beginning
3. Know what sex is all about from God's point of view

Only then can you why, when and who to get married to. Going into marriage relationship, or any other type of relationship for that matter, solely because sex will only lead to disappointment in the future.

Being a virgin in your mid-twenties isn't easy and it isn't also something special, there are people in their early 30's who are in your position and are still waxing stonger by God's grace (I'm 1 of them). Concentrate on God who gave you the gift, carry your cross DAILY (die to yourself) and He will continue to strengthen you.
