The church is not the buildings or people who occupy them for worship. The church is made up of true disciples of Jesus Christ even though some of them may not be attending any congregation.

You continue to move towards the divine nature as you take these steps.

You have all the attributes of the divine.

These are the fruits of the Holy Spirit, they aren't steps or what you can perform by YOURSELF. When you have the Holy Spirit and you allow Him to work His life through you by OBEYING HIM continually, then these fruits will grow out in your life effortlessly.

The divine nature is God's eternal life which is God Himself. We can only receive this nature when we believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God. The Holy Spirit of God who has the divine nature regenerates our dead spirit when we receive this nature, that is what is meant by being born again. After regeneration, our consciousness of God (conscience), fellowship with God (communion) and intuition are revitalized.

The sinful nature is human and any other thing that is devoid of God (including our self-desire and self-righteousness), even though they may not be bad from our perspective.

Adam did not have this divine nature because it was in the tree of life. Adam chose to receive the sinful nature by eating from the tree of knowledge of good and bad. When Adam fell, his spirit became dead to God and he could only live by the sinful (human) nature. Every man born of Adam since then have inherited this nature and humans continually became farther from their Source. Man has since from the beginning tried different means of connecting back to his Creator especially through animal sacrifices and religion but not succeeded.

God in His infinite mercy, reached down to earth to reconnect humanity back to Himself by coming down in human form to make the once and for all sacrifice in the person of Jesus Christ so that any human who believes in Him would not perish - would not have to continue in spiritual and eternal death (separation from God), but have eternal life which is the divine nature (John 3:16).

Receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour is the only way to have this eternal life of God. After receiving this divine nature in the person of the Holy Spirit (mingles with your spirit to give life to it), then you can start living by the power of the Holy Spirit and no more by the power of the flesh (your human/sinful nature).

Christianity treats everyone (even non Christians) with utmost respect. Men and women are equal before God Almighty, but as humans, we have gender roles we play in life. Worldy Feminity has turned Feminism and it's fast creeping into the church.

Modern day congregations allow indecent dressing because they think God only views our hearts and not appearance, forgetting that we are created to glorify God in all we do. Christians nowadays make Jesus their Saviour and not the Lord of their lives. If your appearance doesn't glorify God, then you're living for yourself not for God.

You should understand what marriage is all about by
1. Knowing the originator (God) intimately
2. Know why He instituted marriage relationship from the beginning
3. Know what sex is all about from God's point of view

Only then can you why, when and who to get married to. Going into marriage relationship, or any other type of relationship for that matter, solely because sex will only lead to disappointment in the future.

Being a virgin in your mid-twenties isn't easy and it isn't also something special, there are people in their early 30's who are in your position and are still waxing stonger by God's grace (I'm 1 of them). Concentrate on God who gave you the gift, carry your cross DAILY (die to yourself) and He will continue to strengthen you.

Death certainly doesn't respect anyone but God's love for us reigns supreme. There is no point living a Godless life in this world.

We are victorious in Jesus Christ, but to be passive in the face of satanic attack is dangerous. Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ doesn't stop Satan from attacking a child of God, standing on the victory that Christ has accomplished on our behalf is not only about just receiving the benefits but we must be willing to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to put Satan and his minions in their place whenever they raise their ugly heads in our affairs - Satan needs to always be reminded of our victory by the power of the Word.

Yes 10% of our income is too little for the Creator of the universe but when you give your best to God, remember it's not just about money and it doesn't have to be to a church. In the Spirit of the new testament, our worship as Christians is not about going to church services, so giving to God doesn't have to be only to the church we attend. Their are genuine missionary organizations we can donate money to online and offline if we can't donate our talents and efforts.

Nations are only as good as their communities, and communities  are  only  as  good  as  the  families  that  comprise  them. Families  are only as good as the individuals of  which they consist. Therefore,  the quality of  a nation  is determined by the quality of  its people. This is especially true  and critical in  regard  to  the leadership  of  a nation. Often, as the leaders go, so goes  the nation. The values, standards, and moral consciences of  our leaders frequently determine the decisions and laws  of  our nations, and they influence the lifestyles  and cultures  of  the people. It  is  imperative,  therefore,  to  understand  that  if  the  people of  our nation, the individuals we  appoint as leaders over  us, and the institutions of  our societies do  not have  a higher  source of  reference for their convictions, beliefs, morals, values, and standards, then  we  will  continue  to  be victims of  our own corrupt  nature. This is why God’s design  for humankind’s life on  earth requires  that  human beings be filled with  the very Spirit  of  the Creator himself—the Holy Spirit—the  Governor of  heaven. In essence,  national  community and global  life  on earth was intended to  be lived through and by  the Holy Spirit, the Governor. The person  and role  of  the Holy Spirit  is not a religious issue, but a social, economic, cultural, and political concern. I'm a Christian, my Bible tells me that the soul is a separate entity from the spirit. When God created man, He made man a spiritual being like He is. When God breath into the earth suite i.e when the spirit came into the body, man became a living soul - the soul is produced when the spirit comes into the body . This means when man's spirit was active as created by God before the fall, man's soul (mind, volition and emotions) was subject to the spirit only. Of course the spirit is the only medium through which God's Spirit can communicate with man. Because of the fall of man, God's Spirit left man so that man's soul could only be controlled by his body. Thus humanity has since then thought the soul and spirit are the same.

God in His infinite mercy has made a way for man's redemption through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, anyone who believes in Him will have his spirit regenerated and be able to relate with his Creator. Additionally, God's uncreated life will be in that man through His Holy Spirit so that such a man will know who he really is, why he's here on this earth and his eternal destiny after this earthly life.

The evil we see in our world is a result of man's fall. Man chose to rebel against his Creator from the beginning and it still continues and the outcome is what we ate seeing. But God in His mercy has made a Way out in Christ, those who continue to disobey Him will continue to see evil in everything but those who choose to obey Him will be peaceful even in the midst of the most dreaded evil.

If self is not destroyed after sin, sin will soon creep back into the life of a regenerate man. Self is more powerful and subtle that sin itself so it shouldn't be condoned. Self resides in the soul (mind, will and emotions) and ordinarily may not look bad or may even pretend to be serving God, but God can only be served in the spirit. True spiritual fulfilment only comes from reckoning yourSELF dead and obeying the Holy Spirit in your spirit through intuition, fellowship and clear conscience. May God empower our spirit man to live a worthy life of fulfilling spiritual experience.

These evil principalities and powers are also responsible for controlling how people of each nation think and behave in rebellion against God. They use the governments, power of the air (tv, internet, radio, etc), celebrities and so on to bring about their influence on people. Take Nigeria for instance, the principalities and powers over the affairs of Nigeria are not physical but unseen, they only use the government, music, celebrities, tv shows (e.g big brother Nigeria), etc to control people's way of life in Nigeria especially the younger generation. Unfortunately, the churches in Nigeria are spiritually blind to these things, no wonder the misdirected prayers and sermons that come from the pulpits in Nigeria. May God open our spiritual perceptions as a people in Nigeria.
