This is an attack on your spiritual life, especially your communion with God. You have to keep up praying because that's the only way you'll frustrate them but stop praying in your own strength but pray in the spirit through the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ lived an exemplary life of absolute humility from birth to death and He expects His followers, especially those who are privileged to be shepherds of His flocks to continue to live in such humility.

It is generally expected of pastors who earn their living from church contributions and donation to NOT live above or below the living standard of their members. That's is the mark of humility before God Almighty. You can't continue to flaunt the gifts in the midst of abject spiritual, moral and financial poverty in the guise of glorifying the Giver. Our lives as Christians should reflect the Giver's glory NOT the gifts.

Nigerians deserve the kind of leadership they get. How I wish this type of energy can be used to protest the humongous, diabolic and unjustifiable amount of money political office holders take home at the expense of over 160million suffering population

The secular world used to be a midpoint between spirituality and carnality, but the secular has disappeared into the carnal world in our generation.
If a believer in this corrupt generation must grow and continue to grow spiritually, he/she must continue to feed on spiritual diets every moment and cut off from wordly affections.
But the "churches" are not helping their members in this regard. Worldliness has influenced the "church" immensely instead of being the other way round.
May God help us all and give us His own desires.

I was once a member of that denomination, in fact a youth leader. Spiritual attacks took me to that "church" and I was trained on how to call down "Holy Ghost Fire" on my enemies, but the attacks increased. I got frustrated and stopped attending any "church". Then I began studying the Bible personally, listening to foreign ministers of God and reading spiritual books. My whole life (both spiritual and physical) has never remained the same. I now pray for my enemies to repent, even though God has revealed where the attacks were coming from because I have absolute confidence in His sovereignty and omnipotence, that they have no foothold in my life anymore since I know better and have become closer than ever to God.

Do we need to wait till tomorrow? It's already here today. What do you think relativism is all about?

Most Christians, especially in Nigeria, need to stop following God by traditions and "church" doctrines. The Bible is very clear about who the Holy Spirit is and how He operates. We should all follow the Bible for spiritual directions not pastors and their denominations.

You can't have God in you and not be able to love. Agape Love is a result of His indwelling in you. If you find it hard to love, then you need to truly seek Him, for He is love.

Earthly possessions are good but why so much emphasis on them when salvation of the soul is at stake?

The fact that your conscience still convicts you is an evidence that the Holy Spirit is in you and hasn't left you. Your main problem isn't the sin of masturbation but SIN and SELF. Masturbation or any other sin is only a symptom of dominion of of SIN over your soul(mind and emotion). Every believer in Christ has had one or more struggles against SIN at one point or the other, the struggle is necessary so we'll know you can't overcome them by yourSELF but by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross through the power of the Holy Spirit.
You only need to start yielding to the prompting of the Holy Spirit EVERY MOMENT to reckon yourSELF dead to SIN by denying your personal desires for God's desires.

Of course God allowed many things to go on during the old testament times among His chosen people even if He didn't sanction it. God allowed slavery among the Israelites but the practice was quite different from the way slavery was practiced among the nations around them.

The command in Deut.22:5 to observe the distinction between the sexes is a law against dressing in a manner which deliberately blurs the lines between the sexes NOT necessarily about blood sacrifice.

The command was necessary not only because cross-dressing was a feature of pagan, idolatrous worship in the ancient world around the Israelites, but also because of the terrible cultural price that is paid when it is pretended that there is no difference between men and women.

The application of this law in our modern day is against the rise in cross-dressing, transvestitism, androgynous behaviour, and “gender-bender” behaviours in our society that is bound to cause gender confusions and sexual pervasions.

You people keep painting this picture of a spiritual realm but you people have never been able to prove such a realm exists. Personally, i don't see the need for long explanations. What you people call "God's voice" or the holy spirit, i call my intuition which is constantly affected by brain activities, eg. the neuro-trasmitters that are proven to influence our mood.

The Word of God divides and brings clarity between your soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). The intuition is the medium through which the Holy Spirit of God communicates with a renewed spirit. The intuition isn't supposed to be subject to the mind and emotion, but due to the fall of humanity, the reverse is the case (as if the spirit man is dead and can only obey what the soul receives from the physical environment).
When the spirit of man becomes alive (regenerated) by God's Spirit, then the soul begins to obey the spirit instead of the body and physical environment.

God showers His rain on everyone. God blesses anyone He pleases with whatever gift He desires. But His gifts are meant to be used for His purpose and glory alone, only then can the gifted be fulfilled in life.
Satan is our common enemy who doesn't want anyone to fulfill what he/she has been created for (to glorify God), so he labours day and night to deceive humanity into pursuing personal agenda and pleasures against God's purpose.
Anyone who isn't spiritually alive unto God through Jesus Christ is at the risk of using his God-given gift for satanic purpose.

The worst thing that can happen to a human is spiritual death - separation from his living Creator.

If you're alive in your spirit - connected to God, your intuition, conscience and communion will be active and peaceful.

Your imagination belongs to the realm of your soul(mind, emotion and will). You can't communicate with God through your mind or emotion but they must cooperate with your spirit to effectively communicate with God.

With continuous prayer, there is hope in every hopelessness. Even the voters need prayer, there are spiritual forces that control how people think and behave.

You'll only conrinue to get into trouble if you keep positioning and measuring yourself in reference to other people (even christians). God is to be your only focus, not other people, not even yourself.

Faith is a gift from God and it's common to all humans but only a few accept it.
When you believe in Someone you've not seen or heard physically, it's called FAITH.

Humility before God is when a pastor who lives on financial offerings from the congregation lives neither beyond nor below the general financial status of his members.
