I hope someone gave her a gym subscription as a wedding present. |
OgidiBoy:Agreed She looked like someone straight outta the proverbial fattening room. Not attractive at all. |
HeatFusion:lol ![]() |
Ermmm, Karma and Dede1 , I suggest U two should go and get a room. That would even lay more credence to the claims of this thread |
Etim might have ruined his own career, he might be a coke head or a money hungry leech. Thats completely besides the point. He was accused of stealing a gadget and wrongly so since nothing was found on him after a search was conducted on him and his wife. Now I would be really suprised if Okocha was unaware that a search was being conducted in his own house. Bottomline: I would hate to be in Etim's shoes. |
Two things I dont get : First from Jakumo's story IBB gave his word to Abacha under duress. After the situation was taken care of and things returned back to normal , what stopped IBB then from renegading on his word? He does that all the time. Then from IBB's story, He claimed the reason why he annulled the election was as a result of some inevitable coup. However, he also submitted that he had plans to carry out another round of elections in November that same year My own story, IBB is full of shit. |
spikedcylinder: ![]() Ehmmmmm, No. Next question? |
oziomatv:@ Ozi Agadi nwanyi adighi a kanka na egwu o mara agba!!!! We still here!!! |
Sweetthing:I guess I was looking for the born again part in ur first post. Anyways, born again dont mean nothing. That U are a born again does not necessarily mean U are a virgin just as a virgin does not necesarily need to be a born again |
Did I miss something from Sweething's post? How did the guy go from a virgin to a born again? ![]() The story is still too cock and bull-ish ![]() |
@ Sweething U really expect us to believe that? Seriously? Did ur bum? I done die!!!!!! @ David What has Ekiti got to do with this? |
Kai!!!!! ![]() |
raregem004:lol There is a section for these kind of posts , u know |
Tuning in |
lynn26: ![]() I wonder why peeps like to play with fire Maybe I am yet to understand this concept of love Does love equate to one being gullible and dumb at the same time ![]() |
@ Oyb Thanks for pointing out that the Koran does not support street begging. Coulda fooled me!!!!! Maybe those clerics in the North to whom the welfare and religious growth of these almajiris have been entrusted have not come across those parts of the Koran yet ![]() |
Phew!!!!!!! Cant believe I actually read all these post Debo, Oyb and Dede , make una carry go, Comedy is never lacking on Nairaland |
must_a_far:If u say so |
Kobojunkie:Right and most times we choose to our own convenience. But I also think that there some people who dont even have the right/maturity to choose. I happened to be in the North where a gal (of 16yrs) married a very important man in the area. He goes by the title " Mai Inguwa" meaning Owner of the area. Not only that this guy was already married to 3 women but he was also in his late 50's. The parents of the bride were very happy with the union and as for the bride, I wouldnt know what she was thinking cos she just sat there with a solemn look on her face. Is that based on culture or religion? The gal in question , obviously had no say in the matter, I think. |
must_a_far:Oh, well. U should have spent ur time , right from the get go, raising concerns about the veracity of the article. That to me is an entirely different line of discourse. Since we dont have the same premise on this issue, we should not even be trading banter. I agree with U, dont bother. |
Kobojunkie:I dont think I know much about that to raise an argument. So I would just take ur word for it. About ur mates choosing to marry men who already have wives, all I can say is Wow!!!. But I cant help but wonder, How many muslim ladies end up in polygamous marriages in the south? How many christian ladies end up in polygamous marriages in the south? I dont know the answer to that but I have a hunch that the answer(s) would be interesting. |
Kobojunkie:So the Muslims in the south read a different version of the Koran? I did not know that they are two different versions? |
Kobojunkie:Most of the women that find themselves engaged in this union are Muslims and traditionally, as Muslim U have no right but to be subservient. |
Kobojunkie:At least thats the stance of the article. must_a_far:Well, give me an alternative hypothesis. And U must be prepared to explain why it is more prevalent in these two areas |
