Well, the fact is that after two slaps I would make sure my cheeks are no longer placed in compromising positions. If I choose to leave it unexposed again, then I would prepare myself for the sting . Same thing with ur heart.

If U mean Nice as in
** Boring
** Dry
** Geeky
** Needy
** Clingy
** Insecure etc Then yeah, men with these kind of qualities tend to lose with repect to feminine matters and it aint no suprises

If U mean bad boys as in
** Spontaneous
** Cheeky
** Confident
** Funny
** Witty
** Accomodating
** Independent Then yeah, men with these qualities always come up tops and not only with females but in life general.

But if U mean bad boys as in
** Abusing
**Disrespectful
**Arrogant
** Self centered
** Cheating
** Impatient etc I might be wrong but I bet any sane woman would not want to end up with someone like that. Not even for a date!!!

PoliticsRe: Why White Zimbabwean Farmers Plan To Stay In Nigeria by Uche2nna(m): 6:43pm On May 22, 2008
Apart from loans from bank, there are various ways by which government can help better the lot of farmers.

There are subsidies and grants. I used to hear about farmers co- operatives when I was in primary school up but never saw one in action. Government can also help in that respect. In terms of agriculture, there is a whole lot government can do top make it attractive. A nation's first priority is to feed its citizens. Now if the government is not thinking along those lines, what else are they thinking about? undecided

Thats the problem with Africa today. Nobody wants to vacate power willingly. Pray, tell me why Mugabe is still hanging on to power? Maybe Africa needs to put a retirement age for its presidents.

There are too many sharp twists and turns in this story that makes it sound lipsrsealed

Nigerian men do not propose marriage on a whim. They always have a purpose ranging from the infamous green card issue to the desirable "for better or for worse".

How can U say that he asked ur hand in marrigae only for him to make a mockery of that few days later. What is the purpose in that? undecided

Honestly, I do not know why it got and is still getting so much attention. To me , it is just  a pretty painting. Maybe thats because I am not that esoteric  huh

The identity of the lady also helped to heighten the intrigue the painting draws. There has been a lot of theories on the identity of the lady in the pic

Foreign AffairsRe: Boycott South Africa! Boycott Dstv, Mtn Etc! See What They Did To Your Brothers! by Uche2nna(m): 10:37pm On May 19, 2008
@ darfur

Yeah, we have our own history especially in terms of the Northern Madness of which I have been a victim too. But then it still does not make it right or justifiable. The Almajiris rising up and beheading the christians cos of a cartoon is as bad as the South Africans killing thier African neigbours cos they think we are all criminals. Just as the Northern elite Almajiris were condemned for the act carried out on christians , so would I condemn the act carried out by the South Africans.

@ Kobo

I missed that part of the story were some Ghanians were lynched and killed undecided Maybe I went to the rest room when that part was told. grin
Foreign AffairsRe: Boycott South Africa! Boycott Dstv, Mtn Etc! See What They Did To Your Brothers! by Uche2nna(m): 10:27pm On May 19, 2008
@ Sky blue

I cant really say I have solid reasons to that effect. Maybe cos I think that they have a stable political climate , have plans about social amenites and infrastucture. Some universities over there are also very research based alluding to a very sound educational system. Of course, I am comparing them to Nigeria and most other African nations.

Howvever, I might just be naive to the actual situation over there  undecided
Foreign AffairsRe: Boycott South Africa! Boycott Dstv, Mtn Etc! See What They Did To Your Brothers! by Uche2nna(m): 9:42pm On May 19, 2008
I am worried about the backlash this would generate in Africa. It is not as if we do not have South African's  living in other parts of Africa.

No matter how U toss the coin, this is a very despicable act . I have always taken SA as the hope of the black nation but this goes to confirm the authenticity of the questions being raised about the black race.

The south africans might argue that illegal immigrants contribute to the rising crime rate in the country but does the solution lie in committing another crime. They complain about 419, prostitution etc and yet they are committing murder(s). Aint that hypocritical?

I have read some posts comparing the Ghana incident in Nigeria and the recent development in SA. Unless if I missed something , but the story was that those guys were made to leave. They were not killed nor burnt but asked to (or forced to) leave. I see a huge difference.
