LordShiva97:Didn't they declare that they could use all NYSC camps for isolation? May be, they have other issues to resolve. Since schools are closed, Nigeria can also use university hostels. |
Where is the state Twitter handle, let me go and vote my capital NO. Healthy people shouldn't be locked down. They have to discipline themselves and learn how to avoid the virus. Simple. |
Many people die of "nurses" not of illness. The man was still lucid when the theft occurred. That means he became worse afterwards. I wonder what kind of medication the nurse gave him after concluding that he was going to die. US should really investigate whether it's Coronavirus that is killing all the patients or something else. Nurses, make una no vex, na one bad egg cause am. |
Apart from being alive and healthy, three basic needs of human being are food, shelter and clothing. Food to sustain health is bought at the market. I think that's why markets are open while places of worship are closed. Let's be patient, things will return to normal with time. |
I am sure all the Almajiris that are being turned back from the South are silently settling down in Kogi, since it is their route of entrance. Why didn't Bello stop, quarantine and test them? |
COVID19 is out to either destroy or punish all adamant people all over the world, especially those who lack self restraint and discipline. |
Please all borders between North and South should be sealed completely. All the cows, goats and other food stuffs should stay in their state of origin. Even pawpaw tested positive in a certain country. Each state should produce their own food for now to curtail the spread. |
Maxymilliano:To sack people at this C19 period without severance benefits is pure wickedness. Those people have families. Nobody says it is not a business but he should have been more considerate. He should have cut their salaries instead and gradually disengage them after C19. Governments across the world are borrowing money to help their citizens at this time, not sack them and make them vulnerable. This notwithstanding, Atiku will still share US dollars when it is election time again. |
GTBank caused this problem. If they had answered customer care calls/emails/whatsapp chats and solved one or two problems during the lockdown, they wouldn't be having crowds today. That bank is gradually retrogressing back to what obtained in 1970s. They have mobile apps, yet they block most customers from making use of them, for reasons that ate best known to them. Besides, you can't use another bank ATM to make fund transfers as their customer unless you use their ATM. These among several other reasons are why the place is crowded. |
So far as schools (heads and principals) keep admitting every dick@Harry without subjecting them to passing standard entry exams, they will have to either choose between failing the dullards or helping them to pass. |
COVID19 is out to destroy adamant people all over the world. My conclusion though. |
iCauseTrouble:Probably, they informed one of their relatives that they tested positive. Then that one replied that the solution is simple, that if they mix xyz leaves with abc leaves and add hot water after chewing them, the sickness wil go. So they believed it and ran away. Ignorance is more costly than education. Everyone wants solutions to their problems, illiteracy makes one gullible in times like these. |
Have they tested Ganduje? If no, why not? If yes, then repeat the test again and again. He should stay alive and what is going on. |
At this time of global anxiety over this man, NK media should be wiser than this: to publish this news without pictures. Something is fake about it. |
Without lockdown from tomorrow, it is all man for himself. olakunle5296:For Cross River, they made face masks compulsory for all since March, blocked all borders on time and it is working for them. |
piamily:This kind of guy is interested in a long lasting relationship. If there is no other girl or woman distracting him from focusing on you at that moment, then he noticed something about you which he probably thinks he can't cope with. For instance, it could be that the girl is often sick, or talks or behaves rudely to other people especially members of her own family, or lives above the means of the guy or something else. He is just getting to know you. |
Kano will overtake Lagos in 6 days time. Don't quote me; I am not a prophet. |
Fear won't let reasonable people feel Free outside after they ease the lockdown. |
OP, Apart from "liking sex", which is just your conclusion about your husband, has it crossed your mind that he may be overworking himself just to impress you. Some men have the notion that if they don't satisfy their wives in bed, she might go outside. So, he is using the opportunity of this lockdown to prove himself to you. I bet that if you ever make him feel he is disturbing you, you may still come back here to tell us that he did not touch you for the next two years. Just don't go and kill his morale because what goes around comes around. |
It seems to be a good decision going by the measures that will follow. But, Mr. Governor, reconsider the following questions a bit. Will all the people wear their face masks well without shifting them down to the jaw when talking or even coughing while moving about as we see on TV nowadays? If they shift it, it is no longer facemask. Will your security men to man the borders not collect something and let people in? Don't you think overnight curfew will help check people that might sneak in at night? Let me reserve the other questions about reopening schools. If these questions are not well answered now, time will answer them for you. |
If I don't see Kano in today's NCDC midnight result, then NCDC and that governor have a big question to answer. They should go and test this man that died and release his result with the others. |
They should take samples from Kano to Kaduna, Abuja or even to Lagos if nobody agrees to work at Kano test center again. US pays $10k dollars per week to health workers that move to New York from other parts of America during this time. It is time for our dear country to learn to do likewise. Nobody wants to go to where they might die unless you give them reasons to take the risk. I am just trying to suggest solutions that will work. |
God, take control from this point. |
Akanoaaa:The Minister of Health yesterday said Kano has been given enough test kits, but there is another problem. Some people who work at the test center contracted COVID19 and they needed to decontaminate the place. |
All these comments overnight, people are no longer sleeping. Come to think of it now. Kano is not in today's result just because there were no tests. NO TESTS; i hope it is not what is really happening in South East. |
GboyegaD:Channels TV explained in their report that the hospital was treating the patients for other underlying health issues before refering them to FMC Umuahia. Their samples were Only taken for Covid19 test at FMC. |
Bullet01:It is the fear of the disease that lowers the number, not lockdown. Nigerians are not yet afraid of it. That is why they are still not observing the rules. |
somtookeke:Once you believe that this thing is close to you, you will become more careful and avoid it. |
Those that are planning to eat lions due to hunger at this moment, make sure you send their samples to NCDC to be sure that they test negative before you go ahead and eat. Corona does not ask whether you are human or animal. |
Ok, it's time to build iron gates at Head bridge, Onitsha. Governor, you should hold the keys to the first, second and third gates by yourself. Nobody is allowed to come in or go out. |
Kyari is gone, but Corona is still here. He traveled far where he contracted the virus, but you can contract it in your own street today. If trouble is avoidable, avoid it. May his soul rest in peace. |
Coronavirus: Denmark lets young children return to school 15 April 2020 Europe copyright REUTERS Image caption The Danish prime minister welcomed children on their return to school in Valby on Wednesday Children up to the age of 11 are returning to nurseries and schools across Denmark, as the government becomes the first in Europe to relax coronavirus restrictions on education. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen welcomed children as they went back to school in the capital Copenhagen. Denmark was among the first countries in Europe to impose a lockdown, with schools closed on 12 March. Infection rates have been low but critics warn the strategy is risky. "We're all a bit nervous and we'll have to ensure that we stick to hygiene rules," Elisa Rimpler of the BUPL, the Danish Union of Early Childhood and Youth Educators, told the BBC. "We have a lot of washing hands during the day. We don't have masks and we have to keep a good distance from each other so that's a very difficult task." Denmark's move came as European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen set out a roadmap on Wednesday for a gradual lifting of restrictions across the 27-state bloc, but made clear it was not a signal to act immediately. She set out key conditions involving a significant decrease in the spread of Covid-19, capacity in the health system, surveillance and monitoring. A donors' conference will take place online for governments and organisations to pledge money in search of a vaccine, Mrs von der Leyen added.
