Lagos is for Muslims to rule. Ambode, sorry, you claim to be a Christian.. |
Gtbank has swallowed my intended airtime money more than Firstbank. I bank with both banks and both of them have the same fault. They are in Naija. I have this feeling that the OP is a Gtbank staff. |
Her "before" pic looks better than the "after".... Reminds me of what killed Stella Obasanjo. Women will never learn. |
Well, my observation is that those who gave the award do not use GTB accounts regularly. Within the last one year, I made bank transfers with GTB mobile app and the money took days before it reached its destination account. At times I had to write their customer care severally to complete what should have been a simple transaction. Besides, their so called "mWallet" is designed to dupe people for the year. Several times, I tried recharging my phone lines through it, the amount will be deducted from my balance, but the phone wouldn't be recharged. |
OP, you overlook the positive angle of your mum's statement. What if she thought this was the best way of telling you that you're handsome. |
When someone says that one Nigeria is a lawless country, they'll ask for his neck. No matter what your opinion is on who is right or wrong, it's against international laws for soldiers to open fire on unarmed people. If this was a civilized place, NA will be the ones to court martial its members who misbehaved. Instead, they are being celebrated. Never mind, cause what goes around , comes around. |
I feel I should warn the public about this. Actually, it is none of my business, just that I feel you should know in case you have plans to join it. I came to know about doublecash.me when a friend of mine requested to use my phone to do the registration and subsequent payment of N10k. He requested that I help him check when his account will be matched to receive N20k which I did. After few days, the website didn't open for his account, but showed an error message that they were upgrading the site. Few days later, the website appeared normal, but showed another error message when he tried to log in: "invalid username or password". This happened in January. It shows the same error message till date. |
The doctor's kidney should be removed and used to replace that of the patient. It's very simple. |
Wow! This is a very good story any day. OP, don't mind those label you "proud". A brain that's able to compose this stuff is not ordinary. |
Every beat of this story is interesting, filled with suspense. Ride on... |
What I meant is this: when a phone is locked to SIM, if you remove the SIM and put another, the phone will request your passcode to allow the second SIM work on it. |
Recently, I bought a new Infinix Hot X507. In the phone security, I tried locking the phone to SIM and making the phone require password before it opens, but I don't know the default password, which can be changed later. The info on the manual does not contain it like in other phone manuals. Please share it if you know it.. |
Entertainment joints in parts of Imo State are now counting their financial loss, as people are no longer interested in consuming bush meat. Some of the owners of the joints, who made the lamentation while assessing the effect of Ebola Virus scare on their business outfits. “Since the nation’s health officials advised Nigerians against the consumption of bush meat, following the outbreak of Ebola disease, my take home has become abysmally low”, Oluchi, the owner of one eatery in Owerri lamented. Answering a question, Oluchi said that “the situation might be a blessing in disguise, especially as I cannot use gloves to prepare all the Igbo delicacies people come to enjoy in my place”. Meanwhile, people in Owerri are gradually learning to refuse handshake from even their close friends and relations. Confirming this in an interview, Mazi Damian Nze reasoned that ” any time the music changes, the dancing steps must ultimately change and this is what is happening with the outbreak of the Ebola virus”. He however expressed fears that since Nigeria has not gone fully cashless, currencies must continue to exchange hands. “The nation has not fully gone cashless. The Naira notes must continue to exchange hands. Body contact cannot be completely rules out as scores of people must also go to the market everyday to buy their needs”, Nze said. He appealed to government at all levels to take a more wholistic view of the new problem facing the citizenry, adding that “Ebola is now worse that HIV/AIDS”. http://latestinfong..in/2014/08/ebola-consumption-of-bush-meat-reduces.html |
The Federal Government said on Wednesday, that a nurse who was one of the medical personnel that attended to the late Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer, who died of Ebola virus in Lagos on July 25, has died of the disease. Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, who stated this at a news conference in Abuja, also confirmed that five other medical practitioners who participated in the treatment are already infected with the virus. He said, “Nigeria has now recorded seven confirmed cases of Ebola Virus Disease. “The first one was the index case, which is the imported case from Liberia of which the victim is now late. “Yesterday, 5th August, 2014, the first known Nigerian to die of the EVD was recorded and this was one of the nurses that attended to the Liberian. “The other five cases are currently being treated at the Isolation Ward in Lagos.” The Minister noted that all the Nigerians diagnosed were primary contacts of the index case. He announced the appointment of Prof. O. Onajole, of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, who will be based in Lagos, as the Director, Communication and Community Mobilisation for the EVD. He also pledged to visit Lagos within the week, in company with his colleague in the ministry of information, to assess the situation on ground. http://latestinfong..in/2014/08/one-nurse-dies-as-fg-confirms-seven.html |
What we call "World cup" is actually Europe/South American nations cup in which few African countries and Asian countries are invited just to add glamour to the occasion. If it were to be a real World cup, there would be equal number of teams representing all the continents. Apart from that, there should be equal number of officials representing the continents and the matches shared equally among the officials. Anything other than the above, it's not World cup and Africa should boycot it.. |
Congrats to them. |
Quite an irony. |
Nice. |
Ok now. |
Rest in peace. |
I advise you try your best to address people the way they want to be addressed. It won't take anything away from you. In fact, it portrays you as someone who had a noble upbringing. |
I respect GEJ for finding time out of his busy schedule to reply OBJ's letter. The onus now lies on OBJ to provide all the required evidence. Thus we are now expecting his own reply to this reply. I hope people will be fare enough to mount pressure on OBJ as they did on GEJ to write his own reply. |
The facts according to you include: -he shows no interested in you for over 8 months now, -he talks to a girl and her mum on phone for hours, -you overlook this behavior of his because you want to save the marriage, -you pay the bills and you are capable of sustaining yourself as a single mother, -he makes jokes about taking a second wife and you have made it clear that you would leave if he does, -you built a house with him. Well, it is difficult to come up with an advice here. You have built high hopes of which it would be a painful thing to see the hopes crumble BUT you have to get ready for it. Prepare your mind for it. All the facts above point to the fact that the man has gotten most of the thing he wanted from you. He is African and until recently, most African men are poligamous. If he is taking a second wife, you honestly expect him to tell you in clear terms. He already told you in jokes and you didn't take him seriously. Even if those are mere jokes, he no longer shows love for you. The fact that you made this post shows that you want to do something about it and needs advice on what to do. Whatever you do, bear it in mind that your health and your life are the most important thing to you. If you are healthy, you can take care of your children. You also need your children's father to stay alive so that they would know who he is and how he treats them. If you are healthy, you can build another house anywhere in the world with time. Don't bother yourself about whether he wants to marry another wife or not. Don't bother about what you invested in the marriage over the years. Don't bother yourself about him being an African or not. You have strong beliefs, even to the point of weakness, about how an ideal marriage should last long till old age. It is not over until it is over. Since you are still in this marriage, do your best to make it work. To the best of your knowledge, you are still his wife, the only wife at that. You have to step up and build your home. If he has made up his mind to scatter the marriage, he is going to do it anyway. From now on, ask him questions. Try as much as possible to be polite about it. Dress up nice and let him know you are dressing for him. Each time he turns you down, ask him why he is treating you that way. Go to him. So far as he does not beat you, go to him. Try getting the truth about any other girl or marriage from him. You can do this by being extremely nice. Even though the fact, according to you, is that you would walk away from the marriage if he gets a second wife, tell him instead that you don't mind if he marries 10 wives. That all you care about is that he takes care of you and your children. This will make him to feel free and open up to you. You still have to ask questions even if as jokes because he won't talk if you don't ask. It requires a lot of patience. Lastly, find ways to make him spend his money on his children. No matter how little. It shouldn't be you paying all the bills all the time. If he is still hanging in the marriage because you allowed him go free of any financial responsibility, his reaction will make it clear. |
Looking is free. |
Havilah93: In response to this thread created some days agoSupported. |
OBJ must respond to these letters. GEJ is not the only one that should be good at responding to letters. |
Nice |
