CelebritiesRe: You Are Just A Sperm Donor - Tonto Dikeh Calls Out Ex-Husband, Churchill by udeh3(m): 7:33pm On Feb 18, 2023
Leoniine:
She called him a sperm donor for reasons best known to her.

If she doesn't rate him that much, then I see no reason why she cannot say whatever she wants to him...especially given the fact she said he CHOOSE to be a deadbeat, has only paid child support for four months, intentionally refused to go see the boy, even when he has strict and supervised visitation rights, but hasn't made an attempt to see him.

It's crazy given all this (and I believe her because she won the case in the court) that he came online to paint a picture of him being denied access to his child, like for all these years.

I know Tonto is quite the drama queen and temperamental, with an history of controversies, but that post subtlely set her up on social media, hence her reaction.

I know a man has never contacted me to see his son, and he goes online to celebrate him and saying stuff like, "I long to see you. I miss you greatly" and then Internet trolls start dragging me as a wikid woman and whatnot?

I don't know what else triggered the rest of her posts about house and feeding and all. It might have been from accumulated pain because of all his lies and claims against her or she's just reliving the experiences...either way, she was triggered and I have nothing against how she decided to respond.
If you were the father, will you support a child they've changed and eliminated your name from? So, she knows the boy has a father, then moved to change his name?

Please, address this part as a father

Thegracefulness:
I’ve noticed something that calls my attention.

Is Seun Osewa, the owner of Nairaland, the same as the Seun Osewa of Twitter?

The Seun on Twitter positions himself as a tribalist or chronically ethnocentric individual, who has been fortuitously exposed to education. And sincerely, I’m trying to believe it is not the same person who curates the platform that places Nigeria and the events or occurrences to the world via this medium, Nairaland.

No wonder the adminstrators act in a way that betrays wonders as to if they’re favouring a particular candidate in this election.

If he is reading this, I’ll advise that you realise that as a public figure with a business that endures patronage from Nigerians; north and south, Christians and Muslims alike, it is safe, for you and for your business, to be non-partisan and be seen to be non-partisan. You should be apolitical or pretend to be. Whatever biases or preference you have, please, keep it to yourself and the confines of your private space.

Lastly, like it or not, Mr. Peter Obi’s time is now. It is an idea that has come to stay and nobody; Hausa, Igbo or Yorùbá can kill it.
I had to unfollow him on Twitter. He really disappointed me. Politics will come and go...
BusinessRe: Is The Naira Redesign Policy Defeated? by udeh3(m): 6:34pm On Feb 17, 2023
salesbloo:
You see why APC Governors are right

I can deposit 500K in 5 different bank accounts making 2.5m meaning old notes is still a legal tender .....since the deadline specified is April 10 . Alternatively if you have individual and corporate accounts ....500k in each account

On the other hand if the above scenario is not plausible because of BVN, instead of depositing it, since there are no new naira notes, I will just spend it .Why should I return them since there is no new naira notes and no deadline. Let continue to recirculate them, CBN want to scam us again. To get old or new notes you pay as high as 20%

Redesign Policy is completely defeated

Am I right or wrong?
Be ready for invite... When the EFCC, ICPC and DSS invites you for questioning, na dere u go know say liquid is not water

You're helping them achieve their aims and objectives already.

PoliticsRe: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by udeh3(m): 7:13am On Feb 17, 2023
DeLaRue:
All the powers of the President derive from and are provided for by the constitution.

That means all the actions of the President must comply with the constitution and the laws passed by the National Assembly.

So, the current issue is a constitutional issue, which only the Supreme Court can decide. It has to decide whether the President acted within the powers conferred on him by the constitution and laws.

The reason a country has a supreme court (and indeed other courts) is to ensure that the Executive ie., the President, Governors, Ministers etc do not misuse their powers against us, the people.

There is a reason Mr Buhari cannot issue an Executive Order for you to be arrested. That's because the constitution does not give him the power to misuse his orders like that.

Without courts like the Supreme Court, most Presidents would become dictators.

The people must guard the supreme court's authority jealously and not allow any President destroy it for their own personal interest.
So, in the policy of the CBN, did they breach any of the Constitution in delivering their policies? Does the suit include CBN? Furthermore more, is the matter a constitutional matter?

Please, when you make this assertions, always state the various achievements, so we all can verify. And stop bragging with what no one can see except what Ambode and Fashola did

As a governor, how km of roads where constructed and how much per km
How many schools were constructed and how much in direct proportion to the cost
How many class rooms were renovated and how much
How many hospitals were built and also renovated and at what cost?
Until then, most of us won't take you serious

Becareful ooooooohhhhh before they say you're an enemy... Some persons don't know that Lagos was capital for over 30yrs of Nigeria existence. They just talk out of ignorance

The Lagos of 1980 was more beautiful and decent than the Lagos of 2023. Most of the high rise buildings in Marina where already built then. Thank God we have the private real estate developers, now developing the Lekki and the likes

I WANt TO EMPHASIZE THAT INEC DOES NOT NEED CASH FOR THE ELECTIONS

Except the complainant want to steal some of the cash, EVERY INEC staff and every one who renders any service to INEC should be paid through their bank account
INEC doesn't need any cash for operation. Any contractor or sub contractor, upon contract signed, indicate your account details and the said money will be forwarded via transfer. Enough of cash...

We must be intentional to solve and push out corruption from our electoral system

We're going cashless

Well, I have said this before, I'll say it again... When you vote BAT base on ethnicity and he wins, just know that, it has almost ended for the Yoruba race. Speaking as a Deltan, the South South will naturally now start supporting the South East. This is just the fact

He told his people not to meet the people from the East, that they don't matter during the primaries. Those supporting him from the south or east are actually supporting him for selfish interest. For equity sake, if we must save Nigeria first, then an Igbo presidency will calm the tension in the land

Even if we're going by Competence, he's not even close there...

First, I'll advice you to leave and be on your own if you still stay with your family

In addition, your mental health is important. Guide it with all jealousy.

Furthermore, don't lower your boxes on the type or kind of guy you want. Stick to your boxes, be prayerful and very sensitive. Surely, the right person will come

You still don't understand.
Read below.

However, a senior lawyer, Professor Konyinsola Ajayi, yesterday, said the CBN was free to carry on with the cash swap policy, despite the court ruling. He stated that the CBN, not being a party before the Supreme Court, hence the court was not expected to grant an order against a person not before it; not sued or not heard.

He said, “The CBN is free to carry on with its policy on currency redesign taken in accordance with the plenitude of its powers under both the CBN Act and Currency Control Act. It is fitting to note that just about six weeks ago (on 02/12/22) the SCN held in the case of Adedeji & ors. v CBN that CBN is independent by law and can’t be controlled by FGN.”
The Prof is very much in point

BusinessRe: New Naira: Confusion Deepens As CBN Deadline Ends Today by udeh3(m): 7:01am On Feb 10, 2023
This is a very simple issue... I have been saying this for some days now. CBN or commerical banks weren't in the suit. So, nothing concern CBN who is a separate entity by Law. They've made a deadline. Even Supreme Court can't stop them. If you like yourself don't go and deposit your money in the bank. As it stands now, the deadline is today

FG can honor the suit while CBN carries out their own duties

CBN might suspend this deadline only out of good will. The Federal High Court has dealt with this matter before, except the judgement is been challenged by the governors

So, there's no confusion here. CBN deadline still stands, otherwise, communication will be made by the CBN

.Nobody is saying igbo shouldn't be President it only depends on how they play their game Politically . U can't claim Nigeria is a Zoo and expect people to be happy with u. Igbo play victim card too much and they play Politics of hate and abuse, curse people who doesn't support Obi now they are spreading the hate on religion line like saying YORUBA MUSLIM .
Every part of NIGERIA is agitating, even the region I came from and yet, we became President and Vice. What is the cause of the agitation in the first place?

There's nothing like they don't know how to play politics. In 1999, it was unanimously agreed that a Yoruba man should lead the country after disallowing Abiola to calm the drum beat of the war as at that time. Only Yorubas were given tickets by the popular political parties. Then, in 2007, only northerners were given tickets by the popular parties and so on. Infact, same happened in 2015 and 2019. Which party didn't feed a northern candidate due to the agitation that Yaradua didn't complete his tenure?

So, when talking about fairness and equity, don't be economical with the truth. Be factual and realistic. Those eastern politicians not supporting Obi are only being selfish and wicked, beating the drum of war for the rest of us. Go read popular opinion of most Elites and understand the implications of not allowing an easterner to be president

You can't beat a baby and says the baby should not cry
I'm not an easterner, I'm a Nigerian who's on the part of justice, equity and fairness

God bless Nigeria

Funny enough, Obi is the most attacked Presidential candidate, yet, he doesn't even give a Damm.

Most candidates have insulted him in one way or the other. Infact BAT doesn't joke with the name... His reply has always be epic. He looks for every opportunity to sell himself to the masses who are the real owners of NIGERIA

Whether we vote for him or not, he's already made

You can't tell a Christian not to go to Church unless you are now an agent of the devil

Tinubu and Atiku go Mosque, and no one said they should stop. Tinubu has held meetings with Islamic teachers in several towns he has been to and no one complained
Infact, few days ago, Atiku was called to open a mosque built in Sokoto it so.

Obi is a proud Christian. He doesn't fake it. He's a dedicated Catholic. He's elder brother a Reverend Father and his elder sister a Reverend Sister. This is to tell you how rooted he is. No wonder he never stole in all capacity he acted. None of the good trait can be traced to any other popular candidates. Let them show us one

You don't get it... Over 80% of the old notes is collected already. CBN has the old notes already, especially the #1,000 note.

CBN has also stated that each state of their branches will still be collecting the money. I'm very certain that after 15th CBN won't shift the deadline
