Reason to bid for yourself is that if FOR EXAMPLE you go with the bank rate at 14.25%for 91days NTB and it closes at 16.25%, the bank will gain the 2% freely from you plus the custodian fee and safe keeping fee there will still charge you.. Bote that 2% gain is a big amount if your bidding with a large amount of money but may be small if your bidding with small amount of money...
Just my thinking oooh |

Chibuking81: Am patiently waiting for stocks price to bend down low, so that I can take my position for the next 3 months. JIJO seems to be the best option for now, remember to avoid greediness, always remember your exit percentage junction. Between now and September many stocks will come down to a good entry junction. Please will ucap drop to <2.00 I want to load at 1.05 |

gists: Hello all, I have posted on this thread before. I assume T-bills are much safer than regular stocks and definately safer than money sitting in an account. That is the reason I am not taking a more serious look at Tbill now. I have a very silly question but I hope someoe can tell me if this is possible or even necessary:
Suppose i approach my bank (lets say Skye bank) and I buy N2m worth of T-bills. At maturity, is it possible to divest to another bank (say GTB)?
Thanks in advance Yes..very possible |

feelamong: To a large extent...I play both. It only depends on the % of funds i put in each.,.
At this time, am betting to make more in the Tbills than in the stock market so am more skewed here now..
nevertheless am betting on the Big Banks that are net placers of funds and have good bond trading dest to do well. Moreover with the Forex Gains we have seen in FBNH.....many banks would be spinning monies soon!!
#FBN #ACCESS #GTBank #Zenith Thanks.. But is ZB and access bank a good buy now Thanks |

feelamong: MPC key decisions
MPR up to 14% from 12%
CRR retain at 25%
With this Hike we should expect, bond yields to push towards 20% . Same for TBills Discount rate!
Clearly this is a bait for FPI? And we Local Tbills Investor....
I just pity those with bank loans now... @my oga feelamomg Is it good to go for NTB or enter into equity market with a big some of money at this time ? |

Sometimes I have reasons to be mad at them especially when the itrade will be down, only for us to discover it without them informing us. All the time I have had to withdraw and have my account credited, they did well. Na true talk....
