To be sincere; this is one of the best news, I mean good news that I have had on Nairaland this year. Congratulations!

One faithful day, I and a good friend of mine were trying to escape from school before the closing hours and that was how the principal just came to the spot where we are outside the school and carried our school bags because as we mumu reach we have already escaped oh, but we decided to climb one tree by the road side to plug agbalumo and that was how our principal came with bike while we were still on top the tree and packed our school bags, two of us just hanged there, we were mute and we couldn't believe our eye and how the principal got the information is what we don't know.
After everything, we summoned courage that same day and waited for him but the man refused to attend to us till around 5pm when he closed his office, he now ask us to come back the next day with digging materials and he showed us a place to dig in front of his office which he measured 6ft for both sides and 6ft deep. We dug the pit during the school hours in order to serve as warning to other students and after digging the pit he asked us to fill it back and we did. We now wait for him again till around 5pm before he now throwed our bags at us without saying anything and we too, we collect our bags without uttering any word. Till today, even after church service, na me dey go last.
The worst of it all is that other students now stare at me and my guy as if we were thieves or bad boys through out our stay in that school and this ugly incident happened during my JSS2 and till today our parents did not know about it.

This goes to show how unorganized, uninformed and retrogressive the Nigerian governments is in the way it runs it's economy. The government is supposed to provide sufficient basic amenities and infrastructure for the private sector to thrive on. Government primarily is supposed to provide good transportation, power, security, education business subsidies and other necessities while generating their income from taxes. The private sector grows and solidifies only when those things are put in place. Building luxury malls are unnecessary if the road networks in Abakiliki are terrible, and locales in Afikpo can't afford clean water. It will probably fold up in 3 years due to poor management.

Ebonyi state have one of the best road in Nigeria as well as free education and places like Abakaliki and Afipko have access to water as well.
