You all are hypocrites even so called educated christians are calling for mor bloodshed. We shud all thank God, that boko haram has accepted defeat and is bowing out in the least bloody way. Finally, they give up and ur shouting more blood. Dont frgt when the Gods want to kill a dog they first take away its sense of smell. Many families christian and muslim and pagans where living contentedly in maiduguri, some of them made their first millions in that town, married and even had children in maiduguri. Many have died, so other men can become kings. Wether our president is an aboki or nyamiri or orobi or musliM or christian....it will never change tje fact that he is the president of this multi cultural and religious nation. I have read Achebe and Fani"s write up on the Ibo. I also read Sanusi"s essay on the Yoruba"s. But, I am yet to find any literature riddled with facts about the shortcomings of the core north. I also want to clarify certain issue"s. Politically ibo"s are easterners, while yoruba"s are westerners. They are several citations where the brits are accused of rigging elections so the north could rule over all. From the present condition if things that was a very good decision. Because, if power where to fall in the yoruba or ibo mans hands would have become of Nigeria. Yes, the north is guilty of placing its friends and brothers in important position but this is done with good reason "as a precaution". (see achebe"s essay). I say "friends" because even with all the claims of the north eating the fatest cake, if your a friend or friend of a friend your were welcome to chop together. (see achebe essay + ibb"s wifes brother among others including big time custom officers who have ibo and yoruba women as wives). The north "had" no difficulty trusting we all "new" that but because of the sharpness of the east and the north decide to develop a new type of sense manism. The north could have easily retained power after GCON"s (abacha"s) death (i call him gcon because he is true and fearless nigerian ruler ever). As, i was saying abdulsalam - another so called aboki" could have easily given power to another "aboki" but what happened... Nigeria was give to a yoruba man on a plater of gold twice. Today, what has become of since the west ruled? Many may claim it was give to obj because of m.k.o, however , that could not have been the only reason. ( a discussion for another day). However, obj rule the north (turaki) wanted power and naturally expected to recieve a back stab frm baba & co who claim there was no gentleman"s agreement. ..........
